Our complaint isn't as much about the store as it is about the delivery staff and the customer service staff. My wife and I recently purchased a new mattress and box spring from Sleep Country Canada, and had it delivered. At the time we purchased our new bed, we were told that it'd be possible to have them take away our old bed. Apparently they'll only do so if it's in pristine condition, and if that was the case, why would we replace it? The delivery staff was extremely rude, arrogant and unpleasant to deal with. Ultimately, they left our mattress on the front porch and took off while I was hauling our old bed out the back door. They then proceeded to say I had asked them to leave it downstairs. Customer service staff were equally rude and unhelpful. Never buy anything from here if you'd like to have a good experience. I know I won't be spending a dime with them again.

I can tell you why to purchase a mattress ANYWHERE else... because Sleep Country will make it impossible to ever make a warranty claim. Reading the reviews below I can see we are not alone. We purchased from Sleep Country what we thought was a superior mattress set paying more than we had budgeted (what we considered a premium) in order to get the support and life from our mattress. My back had been bothering me and we felt we had no choice to but spent what was to us a considerable amount for a quality, name brand (Serta) premium mattress. That was in June 2010. Additionally, we purchased the extended warranty to be sure our investment would be protected. Only two years later (bed carries a supposed 10 year warranty), there are sizeable “indents” where our bodies lay on the bed. We started their warranty purchase and they are 1.5 - 2 inches deep. Neither of us are overweight either so that certainly wouldn't be the cause (just in case there's another excuse we hadn't heard yet). The mattress was delivered and setup for us with the current frame. As a matter of fact, we described the frame to the saleman who then helped us select the appropriate boxspring to fit. There was not mention that if it didn't have a fifth leg the warranty would be void. We would of course have purchased a new frame if we had been told that - for crying out loud we threw good money after bad purchasing the extended warranty! We are beyond disappointed and will make sure all our family and friends are aware of our experience and make sure they go anywhere BUT Sl;eep Country when they purchase their next mattress.

This is a one of kind store, where you can find all the brand names and the staff are friendly and informative. Thier sleep guarantee is good. Their customer serivce can be more knowledgable, but store staff are great.

I purchased a bed, Mattress & Boxspring from SleepCountry Canada. It came with a 10 year warrenty for regular wear (no rips, stains, of any kind on the mattress, you actually have to purchase their own protective cover for it to be valid, which I did for an extra $120) in March. By June, the top of the mattress pillowtop was sinking. I called in, had to wait 6 weeks for an inspector to come out and deem it defective. Then I had to wait a few weeks for a new mattress. This happened again but by that point, they came out with next years models, so they had to send me the new one or I could take a credit for what the old mattress was now worth. I think Sleep Country does not represent themselves well, and does not have good customer service. If I had known better, I would have taken my money somewhere else.

The staff in sleep country was very friendly and helpful. They spent a long time going from bed to bed with me and my wife until we were satisfied that we had found the bed that we wanted. We didn't feel like they were pushing for a sale, and considering how much time you spend in a bed, you want to get one that's going to work for you. Best bed we ever owned.

Needed a new bed and ended up here last year. Surprisingly large selection of mattresses (with an obviously large price range) that allowed us to pick something within our price range. Was able to get a special "long" bed as compared to the regular queen size. Delivery was also prompt and available for next day elivery.

e recently bought a Sealy mttress. We found the staff at Sleep Country to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Thy told us to take our time to choose a mattress and try different models. There ere many models to choose from! Our mattress is great- we couldn't be happier!

We have purchased two mattresses from Sleep Country. I have gotten them to do a price beating with no issues, so I was happy they stood by their price protection policy. I also had to replace my mattress after 3 years of use, and they helped me replace the mattress with another equivalent model at no cost hassle free - a technician only had to come to my house to check the mattress and confirm that it was defective and not misused.

What a wonderful company! The sales person was very knowledgeable of the products. We described to him what we were looking for and he provided us with a variety of options ranging in price. Not only that, but when they came to deliver the mattresses (in very good time, I might add) the delivery persons wore slippers over their shoes. Great customer service!

I went into Sleep Country Canada looking for a mattress for my son as he was moving out. I spoke to a wonderful sales person, who was able to assist me in finding a great deal on a pillow top. It was the perfect thing as a gift for my son. The best part was that my son was moving to BC and they said they would be able to deliver it to him at his new place. Much easier than transporting it with the other items he was moving. What amazing service!
