    Roof Replacement

    I needed a new roof this year and contacted 4 reputable companies for quotes. Of the 3 companies who had access to the interior of my house (the other company did their inspection/estimating while I was away at work) Bob, from Smart Roofing, was the only one who asked to look in my attic. He pointed out some problems with the positioning of the existing vents – and also a gap where there should not have been one. I was very impressed by this, as well as by Bob’s friendly, professional attitude, and decided to have Smart Roofing do my roof replacement. They were not the cheapest, being the second lowest of the 4 quotations I received. My new roof looks great, and I was very pleased with how well they cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend Bob and Smart Roofing without hestitation.

    Roof reshingling

    Flat roof repair

    As a satisfied client, I am happy to recommend the services of Smart Roofing. The work on my flat roof was performed in an efficient and thorough fashion with workmen who were on time and polite. They kept the site clean at all times. The price was competitive and all in all a satisfactory result was delivered.

    New Roof and Eavestroughs

    We were very impressed from the moment a receptionist answered the phone when I called about having an estimate done. When Jerry came to the home, he was the only one who had actually gone up on the roof to do the estimate, and he came again a few days later to go over everything with us and made sure we were comfortable with our decision. The workers were very respectful, diligent, hardworking and caring (one took the time to mention for us to take care with our children until the job was completely done, even though they had taken excellent care to clean up for the night). Jerry came while the job was being completed, and once completed again went back up to inspect and make sure all was done to perfection. Look no further when making a your roofing choice! Thank you Smart Roofing :)

    entire new roof

    The roofing job was well done, they used top quality materials and made a great recommendation to use Landmark shingles with a great warranty. Disappointed with the lack of clean up after the job was completed. Roofing garbage was left all over my neighbor's yard which my husband had to clean up the next day.

    Roof replacement

    We hired Smart Roofing on a recommendation from a friend. They were efficient and did take the time to explain everything that needed to be done. My only issue was that we had vents roughed in to eventually connect to bathroom fans that were to be installed during bathroom renovations. When the fans were installed, we realized that one of the vents was placed on the other side of the house and nowhere near the master bathroom. Care should have been taken to ensure this did not happen. To their credit, Smart Roofing did come back and install a 3rd vent in the correct position but it did take some effort on our part to get them to respond to our calls. All in all we are satisfied with their work.

    Useless advice

    Called for an estimate regarding a leaky roof. Guy named Bob came to the house. Provided some advice to my wife, spent almost no time to explain, and charged $80. Said that no work can be done until January. Left a poorly handwritten "receipt" with his suggestions that I could barely read. Worse, did not even give me a call to explain his findings after taking the money. I called Smart Roofing and they said this Bob would call me. And ne never did. If you want to waste $80, call Bob and Smart Roofing. If you need someone to repair your roof leak and get an honest estimate, call someone else. What a ripoff.

    Mike, after providing you with same day service on Friday December 22nd, providing a 30 minute explanation to your wife and mother in law, I also provided them with a written and a detailed diagram. Unfortunately, it was difficult to overcome the language barrier, but I did explain everything to them the best I could.Being that this was the last business day before Christmas, and that there was lots of snow and ice on the roof, I was unable to send someone there until after the holidays, which I did explain to them. I did however call you back on December 27th, which was our first day back at work. You were fully aware that there was an $80.00 charge for the roof inspection of the repair, however; that charge does get deducted from the roof repair. Unfortunately, the roofing industry is weather dependent.We apologize if you felt that this unacceptable.

    Replaced shingles on roof

    Contacted a bunch of roofing companies for an estimate and Mario provided a really competitive quote and was very responsive to all my questions and explained everything very clearly. I was contacted a few days before the scheduled job to let me know the details of the day. The roofers arrived on time and was very professional and did a great job. My roof looks awesome and i am extremely happy with the job.
