I was very impressed with Smart Roofing (recommended by a friend). I knew there were a few loose shingles on my roof, but I was afraid that someone would tell me that the whole roof needed to be replaced, and I would need a second opinion (not knowing much about rooves myself). The gentleman than came to my house first talked to me about what I thought I needed, then went up on the roof and took pictures to show me spots that needed repair, then repaired (once I'd 'ok'd' it, took new pictures to show me the repairs, and charged much less than I was expecting. Very professional from start to finish.

We experienced a roof leak after a heavy rainfall so I contacted several contractors for estimates. Smart Roofing was the lowest and the one contractor that took the time to investigate the problem, determine the best solution and most accurate measurements for quoting the job. Their assessment identified that the existing shingles were lifting in the wind and with driving rain, water was getting under the shingles running into cracks in the plywood and into the attic. The problem was worse at the valleys and unsealed roof-to-wall connections where step flashng was not installed. There were visible signs of water damage in the attic space and to ensure a long-lasting roof, replacing the plywood was necessary. Bob with Smart Roofing was very helpful, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He showed us several shingle options and recommended the most economical and practical solution to provide the best quality installation for our needs and budget. He provided a list of comparable roofs for us to view their work and offered the best warranty not only on the shingles but labour / workmanship. The roof work was scheduled and coordinated with us to suit weather conditions and our jobs and the crew finished ahead of schedule. The crew worked efficiently, protected our landscape areas, garage door and windows cleaning up each day. They also installed new siding at the roof-to-wall connections and did a real professional looking job on the tricky valley and end wall flashings sealing all the joints. They also installed new roof vents to allow proper / better air circulation in the attic space. My wife and I were very pleased with their work and highly recommend Smart Roofing not only for price but also their high quality workmanship. In the Spring of 2013, we are having them back to install new eavestrough. Thank you Bob and the crew for a great job!

We recently had a new roof installed by Smart Roofing after a significant leak in our kitchen. Bob, was recommended by a friend. When I called Bob, he came over that very day, gave a quote which was comparable to others and once the contract was signed, started and had the job completed before the promised date! I want to say thank you for prompt and efficient services even navigating some unforseen snags that came up.

I can"t thank the entire staff and workers they did a fantastic job . My roof is the best on the street . Sales staff was very informative knew product line and material knowledge and roofing knowledge gave us a good comfortable feel . The crew banged out the roof in two days and were pros all the way from start to finish . Will use these guys again and recommend to everyone i know . great job .

Both crews worked very hard and and the roofing crew especially was meticulous with the clean-up. Bob from smart roofing showed up provided a quote and a date for work was agreed upon. Their workers showed up as scheduled provided excellent workmanship and delivered as promised. Highly recommend their services to others and have infact provided referrals to a number of people.

Bob was at our house to do an estimate very soon after we called. He was on time and very professional and clearly knows roofing!! The quote was competitive to others we had come out and Bob was very honest about products we needed and did not need. Once we signed on the crew was out within a week and we were very impressed at how fast the old roof was removed and equally important to us how clean the driveway and yard were kept while the old shingles were being removed and taken away. The new shingles and eves were installed in a day and a half and look great!! We would most definitely tell all our friends and family who need a roof to call Bob and hire smart roofing to do the job!

I had the guys from Smart Roofing come out and repair my roof. Bob showed up a day after I call in, he give me a price of $1456.32 which was I felt was a great value. He had repair crew out the next day!!! WHAT GREAT SERVICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Roof should be good for a while!! If you need a roof DONE you should call these GUYS!! Mike

You did not include a necessary fix to a dormer window in your estimate when you quoted a new roof . On my call back you felt justified in not including the dormer which caused a leak after you did the roof. You finally agreed to fix the dormer and put a new heater wire as you removed one when you di d the roof. Now I have a problem with the heater wire after one winter. A bill made me research the problem, and the wire is faulty. It also blew the switch. Now I have to get a new one. and fix the switch. For the roof you were ok. but if the person has a dormer in their roof, I would not hire. you.

Smart Roofing was referred to me, and I was also very pleased with their work. They were efficient, quick, cleaned up the site when they were done. Bob, the contact person, was very pleasant to deal with and thorough in his quote.
