    Stay away from TASCO!!! We purchased our appliances from Tasco in May 2014. With multiple delays, we finally got dishwasher, stove and faulty fridge in August. After 5 visits, technician could not fix the problem; our fridge is still not functional! We're constantly calling Tasco begging for help only to be ignored each time. In addition, our microwave oven still hasn't been delivered and there is no ETA. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Once Tasco has your money, they're done. They take no ownership nor responsibility. I wish I read some of these reviews before we started dealing with Tasco....

    Sirius venthood

    Went through 3 defective units. My third unit is still defective and after 10 months of trying to get proper customer service from either Tasco or Maroline I am completely fed up and will live with defective vent hood rather than have it removed from my kitchen again. Do not shop at Tasco and do not buy any Sirius product! Worst product and store I have ever dealt with in my life.

    Kichen Renovation

    It is a tale of two cities based on who you're dealing with at Tasco... * the sales team on the front end * or in my case the installation and after support/management team on the back end Recently purchased several appliances to complete a kitchen reno from the Tasco location near Dufferin and Lawrence and Mary on the sales floor did a good job of taking care of us. Then we had to deal with an individual (third party) to install our appliances who I called 5 times over 6 hours and in the end, he did not install anything. Do not want to go into the gory details but Tasco did refund my money but I moved in on the weekend and had no appliances to feed my family. Where I really have an issue was not the ineptness of the installer but the almost comical lack of support and accountability of the support team and the so called management team who were really pathetic. Have been told on two different occasions that two different mangers would call me to address my concerns which started back in August and we're in October and not one call to date… finally stopped holding my breath Have had two people ask me about my experience with Tasco and told them, they can get a good deal on the appliances but strongly suggest they find someone else to install them and have no confidence to recommend anyone at the Tasco team if they did need to rely on them for anything else. Both have gone and purchased from other companies who are known to have both good sales and services support. Will not be going back or referring anyone to them and as they say, actions speak louder than words.

    kitchen reno

    We had an excellent experience with Vinnie the sales person, but the installation process has been a nightmare. Issues with almost everything - we paid over $1K for installation, as we bought high end appliances and wanted it "done right". Turns out that our contractor had to re-install almost everything, and so we have paid double. The water supply to the washing machine was not turned on, the wall oven was not screwed into the wall properly, nor was it hooked up electrically properly, the industrial wall vent was held up by 3 screws, only 2 of which were in a stud, and it was un-even. This whole process has sickened us. We would never shop at Tasco again, no matter how excellent their sales people are. It's a shame - if they only did professional work, then they would have received 5 stars. My contractor said different Tasco installers were working at another one of his sites, and the home owners were having similar issues, so it may be a pervasive problem.

    Appliances including Samsung Dishwasher

    NEVER EVER BUY FROM TASCO - NEVER If you need piece of mind, please please STAY AWAY from TASCO. Bought complete appliance package for my new home. On the day of delivery, the Dryer was damaged. The warehouse folks should have checked it before loading onto the truck. But that’s not the main issue. The new dishwasher I bought, broke in less than 2 week. The door wouldn’t close and it would leak during operation. I called TASCO for service. I was told to call back with a special code found at the end of the SN on the appliance (I wonder why don’t TASCO have that info since they sold the product). I lost 24 hours coz I was calling from work. Called again provided the info and they issued service request to Samsung to arrange for a technician. It took 2 weeks for tech to come. It was found out that spares would be needed to fix. Guess my luck, the parts were on back order and there was no ETA. I called TASCO and they said that they need to check with Samsung. They came back with the same info that parts are on back order and would be available in 1 weeks’ time. Another week passed, still no news on parts. I then escalated and spoke to Silvia in Tasco. It was not easy to get her on the phone as she seems to be very busy all day. Finally after a few attempts, Silvia agreed to do a refund + another $90 that I was asking for installation that I paid to the installer. However she did not leave any notes on the account and when I called customer service to arrange pick-up from my place, they said there are no notes. I chased Silvia again and after a few voicemails, she called me back to say that her customer service manager – Flora will be calling be to discuss details. Flora never called. I even tried going through the sales guy (Harpal) to see if he can help but he indirectly told me that his job is done once the invoice is cut, Even he was suppose to call me back after discussing with his manager but never did. Till this day, I’m waiting for a resolution and it is almost 5-6 weeks since the unit is broken. Oct/9 I could not hold back as I need to vent my frustration and writing this review could help. Here I'm with my broken DW still sitting at home. Based on Directions from Silvia, I headed to store and selected a new DW (of course not Samsung) and agreed to pay the price difference. The store manager said all will be done and he will get the old unit removed and get the new one installed at no cost. This was on Sep 27. I called on Oct 6 since I had not received any info on delivery of my new unit, to my surprise, i was told that Samsung is going to deal with this issue directly and Tasco is just a retailer. Silvia in fact has no clue what she is doing. Not sure who made her a supervisor. She called and left me message to visit store to pick-up new unit and weeks later she is tell that Samsung is going to deal with it. She did not even bother to call me and advise what is going on. I even emailed Tasco's Sales VP - Tony and he did not bother to respond at all. I emailed tascocommunitymanager@tasco.net based on the response from Tasco to this review, but no reply. I really dont know what to do now? NEVER EVER BUY FROM TASCO

    MICROWAVE

    I GAVE A DEPOSIT ON A MICROWAVE THAT TURNED OUT NOT TO BE IN STOCK, AND MY DEPOSIT WAS CASHED. CALLED THE REP WHO SOLD ME THE MICROWAVE TO GET THE MONIES BACK AND HE DOES NOT ANSWER MY CALLS AND GIVES ME THE WRONG INFO. THE GAL WHO ANSWERS THE LINE AT THE STORE IS OBNOXIOUS AND RUDE. AM GOING INTO THE STORE TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER ABOUT GETTING MY MONIES BACK. INCOMPETENT SALES PERSON, UNCARING AS WELL AND STAY AWAY FROM THE STORE AT DUFFERIN AND LAWRENCE, YOU HAVE BETTER USE OF YOUR TIME, MG

    Horrible horrible service. They do not honour extended warranty committed. Rude and abnoxious customer service reps. Gloria and seta need to treat their customers better. Stay away. Stay far away frim tasco.

    refrigerator extended warranty

    Purchased exr warranty and have had more than 15 service calls and tasco refuses to replace fridge even though contract states it will replace fridge after 3 issues. They are the worst. Do not buy from tasco!!!!

    Appliance Delivery

    We ordered 2 appliances from Tasco, and the customer service, from sales to shipping to delivery was exemplary. Michael Ross was a pleasure to deal with, the people in shipping were wonderfully efficient, and the delivery crew, on both occasions, were highly professional. I would order from them again, in a heartbeat.

    New appliances for kitchen renovation

    We purchased close to $25,000 in new kitchen appliances from Tasco in Richmond Hill. We checked around and prices were pretty similar everywhere. We chose Tasco because the sales person Vince sold us on how important customer service is to them and how all they want is for us to have a great experience and tell our friends and family. Well we have lots to tell - but it's all horrible! The good customer service stopped as soon as they got our money. I'll start with the worst offence, but here have been many other smaller ones too. 1. We paid for our range in full 6 months in advance. They agreed to store it for us while we renovated our house. When we called to have it delivered, we were told that they changed their mind about storing it and they sold it to someone else. They were now unable to order the same stove (some issues with the manufacturer) and we would have to wait 7 weeks to get another range that isn't even what we originally wanted. Their communication regarding this issue was horrible. It took them weeks to let us know what happened and find a solution and they haven't even offered any compensation for all the time we have wasted working with them on this and for getting a different product then what we already paid for. 2. When we received the dishwasher, there was a crack on the back of it. When we called our sales person Vince on the same day it was delivered, he told us to call the 1-800# for the manufacturer to deal with it. WOW, what customer service! 3. We needed some specs for the fridge for our contractor and we happened to call Tasco for this info on a day that our sales person Vince was off. We asked some of the other sales people if they could answer this simple question (afterall, they all sell the same appliances!) but no one wanted to answer our question. They just said we have to wait until Vince is back to get the information. Guess they don't want to bother putting in any effort since they make no commission on our sale. Is this the customer service Vince worked so hard to sell us on?? Overall, I would never use Tasco again and would never recommend them to anyone. In fact, I would warn people to stay away if you want to avoid a headache. I noticed now that their rating on Homestars is awful. I wish I would have checked Homestars before we agreed to buy with them.
