Several well known local movers did not even return my phone calls. I found Tender Touch on Homestars and was pleased with the results. Tender Touch was professional from the first call onward. The crew were careful and polite. My only criticism is that they should have recommended 4 men instead of 3. That would have made the move go more quickly and may have cost less.

From my first phone call to Tender Touch to the last signature/payment my experience was exceptional...The booking was professional and very courteous. The team was very clean, wrapped all funiture professionally , had amazing attitudes (which was the best part), and overall did an amazing job..! we booked Tender Touch on the recommendation of a friend, and the team they sent (Dwight, Elvis and were courteous, careful, professional, patient and good-humoured throughout a marathon move! while prices were slightly higher than some other movers, the peace of mind and the outstanding job they did from start to finish was worth it.

This was the second time I've used Tender Touch Moving and Storage and we had a great experience again! The process is easy from start to finish - I had trouble submitting the estimate form so I e-mailed them and Maria responded immediately. She booked the move, responded to all of my questions and made sure that we were taken care of. On the day of the move, the movers showed up on time (five minutes early, even!) and did a phenomenal job. They were friendly, polite and efficient and one mover even gave us some advice on how to use one of the features in our new home. I would absolutely refer Tender Touch to friends and family and we'll be using them for our next move. Fabulous!

We have moved 8 times in 12 years, and our experiences with moving companies have always been just so-so. We found Tender Touch through homestars.com and were sufficiently impressed by the reviews to call them for a quote. They were responsive in giving us a quote, and it was a very reasonable one. On the day, the crew showed up on time, and Elvis, the crew leader, was exceptionally professional in his explanations of how the move would progress. He directed his guys well, and was always cool, calm and courteous. Phil kept things cheerful with his banter; he also went out of his way to be extra helpful. We particularly appreciated his offer at the end of the move-in to help with moving any boxes or items of furniture that might not be in exactly the right place. They were very careful with all our items in terms of wrapping and handling, and they had more than enough supplies of blankets, floor protectors, etc to make this work. Although we were initially very stressed out and apprehensive about the move, Elvis, Phil and Ian made this the smoothest move we have ever done to date. We would not hesitate to recommend them, and in fact already have done so to 2 friends who are moving later this year.

The guys who completed my job were very thorough and extremely careful with my belongings. They were also friendly and approachable, and made me feel secure. The office staff was also great when booking my move, and everything went off without a hitch. I wish I had used Tender Touch for my previous move! I will use only them in the future!

We had a really fabulous experience with the three person crew that Tender Touch sent to us to move our furniture into a storage unit while we have some renovations done on our house. The crew arrived on time, got set up to protect the floors in our house, wrapped and carefully moved every item, and were done in very good time. We had asked for someone to pack our art, and could not have asked for a more professional job. The three people we got were really great, and we would not hesitate to use this company again when we move back into our house.

This was the first time I had hired a moving company and was nervous considering I had heard about so many terrible moving companies. I selected tender touch due to their many positive reviews on homestars along with there responses to negative reviews which gave me the impression they really wanted to make the customer satisfied. My move went very smoothly. The three man crew arrived on time and started moving right away while Dwight explained the move and costs to me. The guys where very organized, took good care to protect the items and were very quick. The move actually end up being complete a little sooner than estimated. I would like to thank the moving crew and also the ladies I spoke to on the phone. I will definitely recommend tender touch to others and will use again if I move in the future.

When you've moved a total of 13 times in 17 years you become somewhat of an expert on what to expect from movers. I've had them show up drunk, two hours late and driving a vehicle that looks like it's been involved in several accidents - three seperate incidents. On my ninth move, I cringed at the prospect of what I might have to endure and at the recommendation of a friend hired Tender Touch. Since then they have become my mover of choice. I have never had any issue with their service. The guys are polite and professional. They show up on time and get straight to work. If you so wish they will wrap your furniture. They lay down mats to protect your floors during the move and they will even advise building management when they are done using the elevator. At the end of the move they take the time to go over the bill with you so that you understand exactly what you are being charged for. To some they may seem pricey, but they are well worth the money and the peace of mind.
