Susan at The Floor Shop worked with me to find the perfect engineered hardwood flooring for my condo flooring project. I had been unable to find the colour or product quality I wanted until I spoke with her and she showed me the line of Mercier flooring. She guided me through the selection process to be sure that what I was ordering was exactly what I wanted. And more than this: she followed through with phone calls to the Quebec company to get the product I wanted in a timely fashion. The flooring arrived on time and the installers who recommended The Floor Shop on Wickstead Avenue to me initially were able to pickup the material and complete the job in one day. I highly recommend the company and its competent and knowledgeable staff.

I went to The Floor Shop to get flooring for my old condo unit which was originally built in the 90s. At first, I wanted to go with luxury vinyl but after my condo board disapproved using vinyl, I decided to switch to laminate flooring. Every time I walked into the flooring shop having to either change the flooring type, colour, or underlayment type, Justin at the store helped me the best he could in every way - i.e. explaining different product types, ratings, stock levels, install availability etc. After selecting my flooring and underlayment, I dealt with Debbie mostly to get final pricing and scheduling install. Debbie was also very helpful in every way. Debbie revised the quote many times based on my needs and was accommodating when I had to change the install date. The installation itself was very good too. The team that came in was very professional and worked very fast. My 860sf condo was done in a day and a half - it probably could've been done within a day but they wanted to get additional T-cap for transition at sliding doors that was not anticipated originally. The team wanted to make sure once they were finished, everything looked beautiful and it did. The install job was very well done. The floor cutting around my kitchen cabinets is super crisp and baseboards look great. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service provided by The Floor Shop and would gladly recommend them to anyone. Their price was very good too.

We had our floors ruined by another flooring company and hired The Floor Shop to restore and refinish our floors. It was not an easy task but they were amazing and our floors are perfect. Peter was so great to work with, Doug is an amazing sander and handled our house with such care, Woytek and Eric were great as well and overall everyone was professional, effective communicators, managed our expectations, on time, tidy and receptive to all our questions and concerns. We couldn't be happier. They saved our floors and brought our house back to life.

Over a year ago The Floor Shop installed the Torlys Everwood product in our basement. Quote was fair, Debbie worked with us to choose the correct colour and had some great suggestions for the stairs. It still looks brand new, very happy with the product quality. The installer was on time and his work was amazing. We had forgotten to ask for one little thing and he found some left over in his truck and made it work. Extremely appreciated! Highly recommend this company.

Job was completed quickly efficiently and according to quote. No surprises. Looks great. Wouldn't hesitate to use the Floor Shop again.

This is the second project that The Floor Shop has done for me. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company. Were renovating the whole house ourselves, and they were so patient, happy to move our installation date and keep the materials for us until we were ready. Then the installation. What to say. They are magicians. I had accidentally ordered 1/2 instead of 3/4 flooring, and as a result my prep work was not done properly. The workers were so patient with me, and assured me theyd make it work. And make it work they did! Im beyond impressed and thankful for their hard work. They worked efficiently and cleanly. They checked in with me every step to make sure I knew what was going on and confirming I was happy with the choices. I want to shout out to one of the two gentlemen (whom Ive been told has the nickname Polish Prince). Cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate his work!!

The crew was so excellent! On time, meticulous and final product was outstanding. Would definitely use again and recommend. Looks beautiful.

The quote to replace very dark MDF flooring in my new condo anticipated at least a weeks work and several problems areas where the installers might have to cut around (not replace) old flooring. Despite a days delay due to elevator problems, Wojtek and Eric ripped out old floors, installed new engineered white oak everywhere (no cut-outs) and kept everything scrupulously clean in 4.5 days. Am very happy with the product and the work.

Every individual I dealt with was extremely helpful. Two other residents recommended them to me which I was very thankful for. I to will recommend them.

The installation crew that came to install Torly's Everest Designer Engineered hardwood were superb. Wojtek and Eric did an impeccable job on our installation. They worked non-stop like busy beavers and were patient in answering questions and even helped us in moving some of our furniture. The final installation looks amazing. Wojtek is a proud and professional craftsman and takes his job seriously. We would have him again on any repeat job.
