Well we are back again because the service is so good! This time we wanted a Canopy for the back and once again we called The Windows and Door Specialist. Louis & his team are professional, answered our questions and working with your needs and budget. The installers are clean and courteous and the product used is nice looking/solid and of quality! I recently got my front/living room window replaced. The entire process, starting from ordering to scheduling to the actual installation, was completely hassle-free. The staff kept me well informed throughout this and delivered as promised. I will highly recommend this company, in fact I will be referring them to family and friends as well as giving them more business in the future. I should add that the quality and workmanship of the window is excellent and I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Louis and the team took the time to explain the features and benefits of the various products available which enabled us to make an informed purchase. The installation was excellent! Tato was professional and meticulous. He and his assistants paid great attention to detail to ensure the windows and doors were installed correctly and neatly. We are extremely happy with the products we purchased. We immediately noticed a difference in the home (no more drafts and the house was much warmer). Aesthetically, it made a world of difference. Our home's entry doors were old and drafty, so we shopped around for replacements. The sales rep Louis from Window & Door specialist was knowledgeable and not pushy. After comparing several quotes with my husband, Louis's quote was competitive and since I felt the most comfortable with him, we went ahead with a front door along with a sliding patio door based on his recommendations. The installer Tato was hardworking and professional during the install day. He cleaned up after the job was done and the end result looks fantastic. I would most likely choose them for our window replacements next year.

We were very happy with the service from The Window & Door Specialist Ltd. They listened to what we wanted and answered quite a few questions we had about the type of windows that would best suit our needs. The windows were ready on time and we were pleased with the price. We received good value.

We hired the Window and Doors Specialists to install new windows in our home and we were beyond satisfied with the quality of work that was done. We've just had a walkout dug out to our basement and Louis helped us figure out what was going to work best in the space and let in the best amount of light to brighten the basement. The door was immaculately installed, looks beautiful and now we have a bright and light basement over the "cave" it was before. Couldn't be happier!

If you value service, time and your hard earned money, STAY AWAY from this company. In 2015 this company installed our porch enclosure. We ordered and signed for two glass storm doors, but what was installed were two screen storm doors. When this was brought to the attention of the office, we were told to enjoy them and how did we want to pay??? In 2016, we returned to the company as mistakes happen and why not give them a second chance...Complete mistake!!!!! When the time came to have the doors installed, they were installed incorrectly. When a complaint was reported to the office, we the customer were blamed for the error in the installation and I had to explain the same story to not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 individuals who work for the same office (Judy, Tony, the installer, and Louis the owner). To add insult to injury, it was not enough to have explained the issue over the phone, but I also had to deal with two back to back unannounced visits from the installer, and then again a visit from Tony, the installer, and Louis. At the end of the visit, I asked that the doors be reinstalled correctly as per our contract. Louis reluctantly agreed...He told the installer to reinstall the doors and frames. So our newly purchased doors were removed by stripping the frame (tugging, pushing, prodding) on a very humid day, and moving them from one opening to the other. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to know that door frames were not made to be installed and then removed on a very hot day without repercussions in future. However, according to Louis (the owner) this is a non issue...just pay up. All in all I would definitely not recommend The Window & Door Specialist. Like the saying goes Fool me once...shame on you....fool me twice shame on me...if I could do it all over this is one Company I would NOT do business with... If I can save someone else their time, their money, and a whole lot of aggravation then at least I can honestly say that one good thing came out of this nightmare! One final note: There should not have been any deviation from what was on the contract as this leads to complaints, is that not Contract lesson 101? Any changes to contracts need to be documented so both parties are protected.....This was never done. It seems that this is an on going occurrence with this company. Product/installation changes are made after the contract is signed, and when it is brought to their attention, they get upset and the result is too bad... that is what you are getting......pay up or else! I got 3 quotes from window companies and was so impressed with Louis and his honest straightforward approach. He spent the time with us to explain the differences between windows and recommended Armor Windows which we are really happy with. Tato their installer was amazing. He did a retro-fit which is not easy and went the extra mile caulking and sanding the interior molding we wanted to save meticulously. Love Tato. Installation is everything and he did an amazing job!

Ordered a garage entry door. Very little in the way of guidance and little to no contract. Put down a deposit. Followed up 6 weeks later to discover the order record was missing. Installer came at 8 week mark. At no point Was it explained that I would need to supply the door knob and lock hardware, so these weren't available on the installation date. Was supposed to rough-in the door and frame for a standard handle and deadbolt. Wasn't until I went to install the door that I realized the frame wasn't roughed-in. Called the company to request if the installer would be able to finish the rough-in. Was told this wasn't possible at the time of the install because the lock wasn't available so they wouldn't be able to do it now. Was also told that the installer was booked for weeks so would be a while before anyone could come out. Meantime my door was to sit unsecure. Was told that the manager would call me back. Never got that call. Door quality and what install was completed and look good, but don't expect much in the way of support from this company. Once their job is "finished" you're on your own. (Update 2020-03-29: Despite my experience with this company the door is still in excellent shape 2.5 years later - upped my overall rating as a result).
