    roof replacement

    Had Toops do my roof 16 yrs ago and was very happy. Well 16 has come and gone so time to replace roof again . Got a great price and staff were very nice and ON TIME!!Brian (the owner) explained everything and he said was done, so in my humble opinion they are Toops!

    Roof Replacement

    Tops were extremely professional from start to finish. Great job!! Brian did a thorough inspection of the roof before quoting. As a matter of fact, he was the only one out of 6 quotes that did this. The crew were pleasant and professional. While not the cheapest of the 6 quotes we obtained, their price was in the very reasonable range and the quality of the work was excellent. I would highly recommend Tops Roofing to get the job done right first time.

    Minor repair

    A few years after I had my roof installed by Tops Roofing, I had a minor issue with a bathroom fan vent and Brian came out promptly to look after it. His exceptional level of care and professionalism is greatly appreciated.

    Roof

    Tops installed shingles that were supposed to last 25 years. Instead, they told me that the 25 year singles only last less the 20 years . I paid them 2 time to come over and was charged $299 + HST the first time and $299 the second time with no GST. They made it sound like they are doing me a favor. They said I would need a new roof in 2 to 3 years. That same year when I had it inspected, I had water coming in my house through the attic. I will never use them again, there are too many competent ones out there to settle for incompetence..

    I'm terribly sorry for your bad experience, however I am quite certain you have Tops Roofing Company confused with another roofing contractor. Perhaps Tops Roofing and Siding in Hamilton (it wouldn't be the first time), or Top Roofing in Mississauga perhaps. Our flat service charge is $365.00 plus time and materials and we always charge hst on top. Please check to ensure you have the correct company. We are in Burlington Ontario and you would have dealt with myself, Brian Burnett. Further to this and just an fyi, all 25 year organic shingles (made by every manufacturer pre 2008) failed and lasted on average only 14 - 15 years. This is a manufacturers problem and you either joined the class action lawsuit or filed a warranty claim. It has absolutely nothing to do with the installation or roofing contractor as we only install. We do not product design nor manufacture shingles. Sincerely, Brian Burnett

    Replace roof vents

    Tops roofing did our roof over 10 years ago. We noticed animals were chewing on the roof vents so I called to have them replaced to the newer steel models. Wanda in the office was very pleasant helpful and kept me informed of when Brian would be arriving. Brian was professional and we felt he was very experienced and took the time to examine the roof and flashing. We would feel comfortable recommending Tops ( Brian) to other homeowners. MH Burlington

    Repair

    Tops did my roof several years ago. It’s one thing to get great service at the time of installation...but 9 years later I still get great customer service. (the odd shingle has come off in a storm) Brian or another representative arrives within a day or two and the matter is resolved. Thank you very much. I live on my own, so this level of customer service is much appreciated.

    Roof replacement

    The Tops Roofing team was fast and efficient. A small problem occurred later, but was fixed promptly. I would highly recommend Tops Roofing.

    complete roof replacement

    fantastic crew, finished easily in one day, super quiet, nice cleanup Brian the owner was very helpful and did a quality control visit the next day. Could not be happier. Thank you for your professionalism

    repairs to roof

    Very professional and prompt service which was well appreciated. Brian was able to assess the problem and fix the roof in a timely manner. At this time the roof is in good repair.
