Thanks Tops Roofing for doing an excellent job! I have used Tops Roofing twice now and have been very happy with their work on both occasions. Reliable, honest, diligent are some of the words I would use to describe this company.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I am very happy to recommend Top's roofing. The salesman came to my house to not only provide me with a quote, but he also took me through all the various options available for roofing, and spent over an hour making me feel comfortable moving forward. I honestly don't know anything about roofing or shingles, so I really appreciated that he took the time to address my concerns, as well as putting light pressure on me to commit or not. He basically said "what will it take for us to sign a deal?" He was willing to go the extra mile in making sure I felt comfortable, and most importantly, that I got a fair price. He also managed to arrange the timing so that I had a new roof installed within a week of signing the deal. This was a huge bonus for me, as my summer was very busy with family visits, and my roof was literally falling apart. On the actual roofing day, I was told to have my driveway clear by 7am. I did this, at 7am on the dot the roofers were here. They brought a trailer instead of a large metal container, this was a fantastic bonus as I didn't have to worry about a container sitting out on my driveway for days, or for my driveway to get damaged. The guys came in, said "Hi" and got to work. They were efficient, and worked constantly. Very hard working guys! My neighbors called the Ministry of Labour for some reason, and an inspector showed up at my house around 1030am. I was concerned, but after I spoke to the inspector, he re-assured me that the company, Top Roofing, was doing everything "by the book" and the complaint was just a "nosy neighbour". I spoke to the team on my roof, and they were very nice, and understanding, and said not to worry, and that this type of thing "happens all the time". They were so professional, and not in anyway put off my the MoL inspector. My roof was finished by midday. The owner, Brian, came and inspected the work and took payment. I really liked that they were done so quicky! I saw all my neighbours new roofs getting done, and their jobs took all day, and they had a metal container sitting on their driveway for 2 days! About a week after the roof was done, there was a huge storm, and one of my downspouts/gutters came flying off the roof. I emailed Tops roofing, and within an hour I had a response, and the owner himself came out the next business day, climbed up on my roof and re-attached the gutter! I couldn't believe it! What great service. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company. I was very wary of getting my roof done, as there are so many "fly by night" companies that seem to pop up, take your money and half-ass the job. Tops roofing is not one of these companies! They are friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. All in all my quote from Tops came in the 2nd lowest out of 4 quotes total, but comparing item by item, they did more than the two lower quotes.

Work was done in a timely and efficient manner. Workers pleasant to have around. They were recommended to us, by friends, and I would recommend them to others.

The shingles arrived the evening before. A trailer arrived very early the morning of. The crew arrived around 0730, and they went straight to work like ants on a mission, and completed the job in less than a day. They answered any questions we had. There were a few nails scattered about after they left, but that is to be expected. We're satisfied and would recommend the Top's to anyone - they were not the cheapest and not the most expensive: a reasonable price and it was less than a week from the time the sales rep arrived to quote the job to when the roof was completed.

1) I had a concern about the new vents they installed making a vibrating noise. When they called the owner refused to come back and look at it until I gave them a $300 deposit in case the concern was not covered under the warranty. They said in that case the $300 would be for a service call and any repairs and labour would be extra.2) I also awoke one morning at 6am to one of their employees deciding to start working on his own right outside my bedroom window.

Tops were very professional, explaining my options, and offering suggestions. Not patronizing like others who provided quotes. Work was done as scheduled, withing timeframe stated and everything cleaned up afterwards.

Brian and his team have installed roofing on several houses I have owned over the last 20 years. Tops have always provided excellent product and installation at a fair and reasonable price. Their installers are courteous and efficient. I have previously recommended them to others who have also advised they were happy with the service provided.

Work done well, cleanup could have been slightly better and it would have been a good idea if they had warned us about the grit from the new roof settling around the house after.

I had used Tops Roofing at our home in Oakville with awesome results, so when our home on Beach Blvd in Hamilton needed a roof I called Tops. We get very high winds on the beach and I was losing shingles after each storm, very frustrating and expensive. I called Tops and they recommended a perfect solution which was not cheap but would be worry free and no cost to me for 40 years! We have a ton of plants and expensive outdoor furniture, the Tops guys layed down a lot of protective materials and carefully removed and disposed of the old roofing materials. We live in a group of 6 townhouses and the Tops guys carefully cleaned up my yard as well as the neighbours on both sides. They did a super job, no nails or debris at all. I would use Tops again in a minute, wasn't the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Do it once and do it right folks, don't go cheap with a fly by night outfit, you will regret it. Call Tops.
