Good crew, worked very hard and were conscientious about the quality of the finished product. I recommended this organization to others in our townhouse complex and they were also very pleased with the quality and value for dollars spent.

Our roof and vents have been leaking for several years and we paid a lot of money for temporary patches. We noticed our neighbour was having their roof done, so we had Brian (from Tops Roofing) come to the house and explain everything to us. The 40 years warranty was a selling point for us. Brian explained with great detail about the special "ice" protection and we live on the beach so a good wind protection was key for us as well. The working crew came, worked quickly but very keen on detail and accuracy. Our home is completely surrounded with lush landscaping and a pond and they never made any mess, they never made one mark on our newly paved driveway. They replaced our vents since they saw the old ones were leaking, replaced a piece of plywood that was covered in black mold at no extra cost. They also laid a protection covering under the shingles which no other roofing company that came to the house suggested that we should have. The crew was very friendly and the workmanship is outstanding. I would recommend Tops Roofing to my friends!!! Good Job Guys!!!

fantastic, professional, certified installers, fully warrantied, professional installation lead installer on hand throughout entire job, done in one day , wow...super cleanup and I was very happy with the price. I got 4 quotes and two were simply too low ball,one was higher and we chose Tops Roofing. Wanda was so helpful in the office and we are getting our transferable warranty in the next few days......could not be happier. WE finally found a company we could trust in the roofing business...Tops Roofing has been successful here in the community since 1987 (29 years) and it shows . Thank you all so much.

From day 1 dealing with Brian was a breath of fresh air. He was easy to get in contact with, easier to speak with, and took his time to educate me on what is required and what is not in order to protect my roof. Putting a new roof on is a new venture for me and he had every chance to sell me on something I didn't need however he did what he thought was best for ME...a trait that is becoming too uncommon in this world... Before I go into the fantastic job that Brian and his crew did,I want to highlight that my neighbour had his roof done three days before mine...he was set to go with Tops until at last minute he found a cheaper roofing company (of the under the table, non insured, perhaps not even a legitimate business variety) and well....you get what u pay for. Shingles all over my lawn, garden ruined, multiple nails on my front doorstep, and just for good measure the non visible parts of the house....well they placed the shingles over top of the old ones...and this wasn't even my roofing job... Thankfully we went with Brian as he delivered on all of his promises when completing my roof and his crew did a fantastic job...roof looks great, no roofing nails left behind (at my house or my neighbours), and not one thing damaged in my garden...something I thought virtually impossible to accomplish. He even fixed the amateurish job done by the other 'roofing' company...i use that term loosely. I urge you. Go with Tops. Get them in to do an estimate. Talk to Brian. You will not be disappointed!

Tops did our roof about 9 years ago, and at the time we were satisfied with the job that they did. Recently we have been experiencing a leak in the ceiling in one of our rooms that has the chimney in it. Since they have a 10 year warranty on their work I called and was told they would get back to me about someone coming to take a look at the roof to see what the problem is. That was weeks ago and I haven't hear a word from them since, despite my calling and leaving messages several more times.

House is 15 years old and I noticed that most of the homes in my neighbours have been replacing their shingles. Using the names of the roofing companies my Neighbours used. I got 3 estimates. Tops roofing representative provided me with the most detailed estimate which included adding a new vent and upgraded metal roof vents and and re-routing the eve trough to prevent premature ware of shingles. Also informed me that they are authorized by manufacture Timberline HD shingles to offer a 50 year warranty. None of the other roofing companies I called are authorized. In fact one local roofer who's quote was much higher did not offer 50 year warranties and said very few roofing companies qualify and suggested I go with Tops. Glad I did since everything was done perfectly and as promised. Brian did an excellent Job re-routing the eve trough down the side of the house. Roof now looks great! This 10 star job was done on time as quoted and exceeded my expectations and will definitely recommend them to family and friends. Thanks Brian and Crew for a Job well done.

Tops Roofing is tops in the industry! They did my mom and dad's house years ago! It was not until recently that we needed the roof on our house re-shingled so we called Brian at Tops. We didn't call anyone else. We received a fair price, and a very good job was done on our roof. In comparison, my neighbour had another company do their roof a few days after ours was done. Too begin with, the guys actually came over to my property and removed the Tops Roofing sign from the front lawn! I saw them do it! When I went over to ask for it back they denied taking it. I told them I was going to call the homeowner and the police. A few minutes later they put the sign back on my lawn. When we stood back and compared our roof shingled by Tops to our neighbour's roof finished by the other roofing company, it was apparent that a much better job was done on our roof. New vents were installed in our roof to permit better air flow, and the downspouts on the upper level were no longer draining right onto the shingles on the roof, as my neighbour's still were. If you need your roof done, call Brian at Tops…we and many of our friends and neighbours have done so and are happy that we chose this company to do our roof.

I wanted to add this comment to my experience with Tops. I write this after reading the reviews for Tops: All but 2 give a "10" rating. In my experience with the owner of Tops (Brian), I will say this: he is a direct, straight shooting, fully accountable type of person, who owns his responsibilities, and expects others to do the same. So if you had a rotten deck and think that Brian is the type of guy you can push around and bully to have him take responsibility for this, don't bother. If you ran into his hoisting equipment, and want to try and blame him for this, don't bother. And if you didn't follow his recommendations, and then want to complain and blame him, don't bother. This company has done the roofs of many of my family and neighbours over the past 20 years. He is known for his knowledge, responsiveness and top quality work. But you can't push him around, and whiners and blamers who don't want to own their responsibilities should look elsewhere. On the other hand, if you want it done right, and you value directness, timeliness and someone who will tell you the straight goods, then you have found the right company.

Got a few quotes on replacing our DYI 15 year old roof, Brian from Tops came out and inspected our roof confirming (what we knew) that but for the tar paper we had installed 15 years ago we would have had water in the house on the west face. He showed us multiple samples and suggested a colour change. Liking what he showed and told us, we agreed on a price and date, they came when promised as the weather was good, completed the job (big) in just one day. Job was done right, site was left exactly as found. Workmanship looked very good to our eye and the new colour and random look, thicker shingle type really did look far better. Brian and his team were very professional and great to deal with...unlike one another so called "big roofer" that didn't even show up to quote as promised. We were so pleased, we had Tops do our rental property just one month ago, see review. So a big shout out to the Tops crew and Brian for making roof replacement stress free and without issue!
