Alan from Total Renovations who is the sole owner changed the look of our family room when he tore down the wall that only had a shelf and built a beautiful white mantle with fancy pillars on sides and around the mantle managed to match the exact floor file with the tiling around the fireplace.

Mark Madigan and his team did an exceptional job! They did a major kitchen renovation for us and were fantastic from start to finish. Mark was organized and the project stayed on time and budget. He was extremely helpful with the planning and recommendations for cabinetry, stone etc. At the same time we also had Mark renovate our master bath - it is fabulous. Total Renovations team have done numerous projects for me. Most recently they took a musty unused basement and turned it into a very livable space. The staff have strong technical abilities and strive for excellence. The owner, Mark Madigan, is to be commended for his deligence in making sure his customers have complete personal satisfaction.

We needed a sunroom pretty well totally redone and mark's estimate was one of the best and the work done was great. While here we had him do several other smaller projects that had been hanging around and all turned out very well. mark has good people working for him and he is on site on a regular basis to make sure you are happy with things.

Besides the excellent work done, what was most impressive was that Mark gave us an estimated 'time' of the project and kept his word. Project was finished as promised, his men were helpful and courteous and ON TIME every morning - no disappearing during the day or failing to show up! The granite counter and kitchen cupboards are terrific - work very very satisfactory. Only wish we had our floor replaced as Mark suggested. Next time - will definitely use Total Renovations again. What most impresses me about Total Renovations is that they stay on schedule. They plan ahead what will be completed each week and stick to that. They have done a lot of work in my house and have never let me down.

Total Renovations redid our kitchen in 2001. We were very happy with the work. Mark and his crew were always professional and polite, available for explanations, and helpful in finding solutions to accommodate our requests. The crew came to work on time and left the workplace clean so we were comfortable living at home during the renovation. The job was done within a few days of the estimated completion date. Except for a few upgrades we went in for, the cost was identical to that in the original agreement. After such a positive experience, we also had Total Renovations finish our basement and renovate our master bathroom and sunroom in 2005. This was a substantially more complicated project, including installing a brand-new 3-piece bathroom in the basement, digging up sewage pipes, moving and putting in walls, radiators, etc. as well as dealing with several unexpected surprises in our 80-year-old house. Still, the project came in very close to the original budget and was completed only a couple weeks behind the original 9-week schedule. Mark and his crew are good to work with. Mark is easy to get ahold of and is both attentive and accommodating. He gives constant updates on the workplan. He is full of ideas, but is not pushy. He will go shopping with you and won’t rush you to make decisions. We get a lot of compliments and are happy to give a very positive recommendation.

Total Renovations is one of the best companies around. We hired them to carry out a major 2-month project which completely transformed our house. The work included moving the ductwork in the basement, installing a new high efficiency furnace and water heater, complete electrical upgrade, building a new bathroom and renovating the exisisting bath, installing built in millwork and putting in a skylight. All work was completed on time and there were no delays. Mark and his crew of experienced contractors were courteous, very professional and always left the site clean. Before the start of the project Mark developed a detailed schedule which outlined on a weekly basis the kind of activities taking place and trades involved. The crew finished the project exactly when they said they would. All workmanship was of outstanding quality. We will be hiring them again for some exterior work in the future. They are a true find! Highly recommended.

They were a good company to deal with. The staff and workers were polite couteous and clean. They worked the 8-5 shift and were there everyday. So they were punctual and overall I would recommend them to friends and family. Mark was available at any time to discuss problem with the renovations.
