We just moved into our first home and as excited as we were, we also had concerns about the neighbourhood and its' troubled history. We had found lots of good but conflicting opinions on the internet about how to secure our home. We needed some good, honest and unbiased help. Initially we had spoken with Frank over the phone and he was very open and helpful and even gave us free advice. He noted and explained why an in-home meeting would be more helpful and we worked out a fair fee. Our impression of him was that he was definitely an honest and straightforward guy. We setup a meeting with Frank quickly and he was right on time. As we proceeded with the inspection, Frank gave us simple, level-headed suggestions to improving our security. He gave logical and clear explanations for his choices and answered any questions we had. And we had a lot. He also explained to us why certain precautions that we wished to take was overkill or why it would not work based on our house. Frank is not a scare-tactics type of guy. He works by giving honest suggestions and clear advice. He is not out to sell you anything except good advice and customer service. You would definitely not regret the understanding and peace of mind that he imparts.

In addition to window protection measures that were implemented, the WOBI rep observed issues with prior work done on our doors by another company a few years back and made adjustments to the entry doors as a result which improved our home security. Surveyed my property and made rcommendations. Gave me a detailed list of what to do and also the option to install myself. I decided to let Frank do the work and he did it in a timely and professional manner. He even cleaned up his work. He installed door guardians, new and stronger strike plates, fixed the jambs, and installed a set of window security bars. My husband & I have been talking about hiring someone to make our home more secure for many months. My brother-in-law who is a cop suggested that we do so given what he encounters on a regular basis. Although we have a home alarm system, it is not perfect as the robbers can be gone by the time the cops arrive. We hired Frank after seeing his reviews on HomeStar. He was professional, knowledgeable and very passionate about what he did. He never forced us to get anything unnecessary, and seemed very honest. My brother-in-law (the cop) also talked to him, and he knew his stuff. After using his services, we feel a lot more secure in our home. Bottom line, you may be able to spend less $$$ if you were doing this yourself. However, would you actually come around doing this? I would recommend using WOBI!

Had Frank take install security film on front entrance door which was recently upgraded to a fibreglass door with ODL doorlight . Frank also installed some secure locks for two windows that he had identified as potential entry points. Service provided was helpful, efficient and reasonably priced. Would recommend him for security audit and followup work.
