It was an easy decision for me and my wife to select Lido Pools and Josh as our custom in ground pool installer. The main aspects we wanted in our pool contractor were knowledge, experience, communication, design, build and keeping promises. All of which we found in Lido Pools, Josh and his crew. We had received a few quotes from other pool companies and they were all the same in terms of price, design and features. We were not looking to have an average everyday run of the mill pool. We wanted something different with many pool features and that is why Lido Pools was the way to go. Josh was full of ideas for not only the pool, but landscape as well. His experience and knowledge set him apart from the rest from day one. When speaking with other pool companies, it was all the same. What I really wanted was an obstacle for them based on their experience and own limitations. They all tried to talk me out of what we wanted. Not the case with Josh and Lido Pools. When it came to design, he had no problems doing whatever we wanted. In fact, he had so many ideas that actually helped us to improve upon our own ideas and design a stunning pool and backyard paradise. He never said no, or that it could not be done. He is an innovator with miles of imagination and always a few steps ahead of everyone else. Dealing with a contractor who is experienced and knowledgeable was key for us as well. That is another reason why Lido Pools was an easy decision. I do not think I have met a person with as much knowledge of pools or with as much knowledge in their respective industry as Josh. His structurally engineered pools are built right and built to last from structure to drainage and everything in between. Another key for us is the ability to stay connected and get in touch with our contractor. That was the case with not just Josh, but his entire team. Everyone was a call, text or email away and always responded in a timely manner. Finally keeping promises. Lido Pools insured that they stuck to their proposed schedule and made sure that we had our pool ready on time with little impact to our daily lifestyle. In the end Lido Pools and Josh should be your choice whether you plan to install a standard basic in ground pool or an over the top stunning design with all the jets, water features and lighting. We had 5 pool companies come and give us quotes, we selected Josh at Lido pools. Josh took the time to create an over all look for our backyard with a unique shaped pool and landscape, that maximized our space.He started and completed the work on time and on budget. His after market care has been incredible, resolving any issue we have had, and we continue our relationship with Josh as he opens and closes our pool every year. My neighbour was so impressed with Josh that he chose Lido pools as well.

I contacted Josh at Lido Pools to quote on my backyard pool project. I had spoken to several other companies so had an idea of what I was looking for. Josh came in and made suggestions to customize my basic design to fit my irregular lot. He was the only person to explain how this would improve the look of the pool and the yard. He took the time to educate me and my wife on the different pools and manufactures. Every question he had an answer and a group of pictures that showed the results of the right and wrong way. He was professional and helpful. We arranged with Lido for an install date in mid fall. The work started on time with a very professional crew. All the crew took time to answer our questions as construction moved ahead. The project moved along quickly and Josh contacted me several times to let me know what was happening. The pool was completed on time but because of the cold weather was not able to be used until the spring. Early in the spring Lido pools returned to open my pool. Josh took the time to inform me how each of the different systems worked and what I needed to do on a daily and weekly basis. The first weekend I made a mistake and the water flow stopped. I called Lido pools expecting that I would get a call back on Monday to help correct my mistake. 30 minutes later I had Josh calling my cell phone to help walk me through correcting the problem. I was impressed with this level of service I use Lido pools to open and close my pool every year. The staff have been professional and prompt every time. They even went out of their way to open my pool quietly one year so as not to disturb the neighbours graduation party ( they were impressed with this). I am happy to recommend Lido Pools to friends and family. Josh has a lot of knowledge and some very interesting custom designs.

Josh was very patient with us and took the time to explain all of our options and help us design our perfect pool. Josh was up front with all costs, so there were no surprises. Thanks to Josh our backyard has become our oasis. We can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can get back there again!

We carefully reviewed over ten pool vendors in GTA, and ultimately decided to go with Josh and Company. The reason for that major decision was that Josh has spent extraordinary effort to listen to our ideas and to propose a pool that would be the best for us. He designed custom solution that was on par with other vendors' costs, and worked patiently to ensure we are happy and satisfied with the look. Another deciding factor was that we talked to other referrals, who all highlighted his 25+ years of expertize in pool-building in GTA, and has really seen and tried it all. My wife and our three kids are very happy with the pool Josh has built for us a year ago, and have been using it with no regrets. Special note: ask Josh if you can put in an overflow spa next to your pool - it extends the time you can use pool well into fall, and adds a nice waterfall feature at minimal cost.
