    Malfunctioning Toilet

    I called Michael about our toilet that would "ghost" flush a few times after we had flushed it. Michael from Aviv Plumbing was a pleasure to deal with. He was very efficient in diagnosing the problem and identifying what parts would be needed before he even sent a technician to us, remarkably within 2 hours of my call! Our problem was satisfactorily resolved quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend their services.

    Repair of two toilets

    Anthony of Aviv Plumbing just finished fixing both two toilets in my apartment that were not functioning. A great relief with the long weekend starting. Very prompt returning my call this morning, and very punctual in arriving at the agreed upon appointment time this afternoon. This is the second time I've used Aviv, and Anthony also did a great job the previous time replacing my kitchen faucet. I think the prices for both repair jobs, including parts and labour, were very reasonable and very fair, and I highly recommend Aviv Plumbing.

    Aviv Plumbing - Bathroom Plumbing repairs

    I needed to have the thermal cartridge in a shower replaced and have the thermal cartridge in my other shower adjusted because it was not properly installed by another plumber. I contacted one very well known plumbing company and their quote (not including the cartridge) was outrageous. I called Aviv Plumbing at the recommendation of a friend. The quote given was very reasonable for the work to be done. The plumber who did the work was friendly and made sure that settings were done to my preference. The whole experience from my initial call to the completion and payment for the work was very positive. I highly recommend Aviv Plumbing, the price is fair and the service is outstanding.

    Toilet Replacements

    From my initial contact to Michael to the actual installer, the service and communication was excellent. I had called around a few companies for quotes on the installation of my 3 toilets, what stood out to me when contacting Aviv was that they were also going to use their own higher quality brass fitting and fasteners, rather than the typical plastic ones the manufacturers typically include in the box. They also backed up the quality of their installation with a 12 month guarantee. When you factor both of these points, you recognize that Aviv is focused on providing quality workmanship. The installer himself also the left the work area very clean and carried out a very professional looking installation. Will definitely be back to use your services Michael. Thanks, Alex

    Fair and efficient. Great service. Caring owner.

    My older home was fully renovated 12 years ago. 12 years later there was a punch list of plumbing repairs that needed to be done. Michael Aviv and his staff were excellent. Michael came in and within the first hour about 70% of the work was complete. Michael left me a list of items that needed to done to complete the job and that needed to be purchased (including a new toilet). I really appreciated how Michael worked with me in the most cost efficient manner, and recommended trades for items that were outside plumbing domain. Where it made sense, Michael also obtained parts for me at a cost effective price saving me time and money. Without hesitation I would call AVIV plumbing and recommend his services.

    Shower faucet replacement.

    Michael at Aviv plumbing is a pleasure to deal with! I called him on Monday about a broken shower handle. I sent him several pictures of the shower faucet. He got back to me and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. Michael was able to replace the shower handle efficiently & quickly! I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to friends and would definitely use his services again! Thank you Michael!

    Very Polite and Very Thorough

    My kitchen faucet was leaking and causing damage to wood work underneath the sink. Upon calling Michael, he made a conscious effort to obtain as much information as he could by phone about the problem and even researched the model # of my faucet to ensure all necessary parts could be obtained and fixed. Upon Michael's arrival he was quick to identify the causes of the issue and was efficient in his work. Upon identifying the issue he recognized that additional work was needed and offered to visit the property a second time at no cost to completely resolve the issue. Dan returned to finish the job and the faulty faucet is no longer causing issues. Both Michael and Dan were polite and courteous and were patient in showing me where the problems existed and how they fixed them.

    Aviv Plumbing to the Rescue Again

    This time it was a faulty toilet that had to be replaced. Last month it was a drain pipe that had to be moved with a very short notice to accommodate Enercare Home Services installation of a new rental water heater . As always the work was completed on time and to our complete satisfaction. Great Customer Service!

    Cartridge replacement in shower assembly...

    ...from the '70's which I thought was old & calcified beyond repair. Andriy was punctual and knowledgeable beyond his years. Executed the job with finese while outlining risks inherent at each step. Totally impressive and no messy clean up after !

    Difficult dishwasher installation

    Our previous dishwasher was re-installed by the general contractor's team when we had our kitchen renovated about seven years ago. When that dishwasher finally died, I immediately went out to buy a new one. This time the installation was a small nightmare since the contractor had hidden the drain behind the wall, rather than making it accessible as it should have been. The Best Buy installer, who was a very nice man, could not do the installation since he was not authorized to go into the wall. (I will have to see if I can get a partial reimbursement since I paid in advance.) I called Aviv on Saturday morning and was able to schedule an appointment for Monday morning. Daniel, the installer, actually arrived early. He was extremely polite and pleasant and did a fantastic job. The little hole he had to make in the back of the cupboard underneath the sink is not visible to anyone coming into the kitchen and now the drain is totally accessible. This is not the first time I've dealt with Aviv Plumbing. I would highly recommend them.
