    We tried calling Goemans today Kitchener location to find out how long the warranty is on the wolf oven we purchased. Service and attitude very poor . Woman was rude and just kept repeating get your manual and look. Wont ever shop in that organization anymore.

    Napolean Gas Grill

    Instead of re writing my story I am just copying the email i sent to Goemans about this problem. I just have to say wow. What a disappointment. 8 years ago my wife and I bought over 5000 dollars worth of appliances from you, including a new BBQ. A few months ago that barbeque died. So the first thing we thought was that we should go back to Goemans and buy another. So we did that. I paid over a thousand dollars for a new Napolean barbeque. I was told it would be assembled and delivered. The barbeque was delivered on time. Since it was "professionally" assembled I made the assumption that I could hook it up to my existing natural gas line and start it up. So I did that. Then I found that the natural gas hose which is connected to my existing non leaking quick disconnect was not tightened at the barbeque end. I was a little annoyed but I went and got a wrench and tightened the loose fitting. I used the barbeque and everything seemed fine. I shut off the gas at the quick connect when I was done. This weekend I had a party so we had the barbeque on for food. At least 4 people commented on the fact that they could smell the gas after the barbeque was turned off. So we shut off the quick connect to avoid the complaints. Before I went to bed I turned on the quick connect valve. The next morning there were about 2000 flies crawling on my back deck around the barbeque. I could smell natural gas. I turned off the gas at the quick connect valve and went to work. My wife called and said a half hour later all the flies were gone. I called Goemans customer service department and was told I couldn't get a service call because I didn't have a serial number with me! Seriously?! What does that have to do with anything? I did not assemble the barbeque. Napoleon did not assemble the barbeque. Goemans assembled the barbeque! So I call back today and have to explain the situation to a different girl in the customer service department. She actually has the gall to ask me where in the barbeque is it leaking? If I knew where the thing was leaking I would fix it myself. I didn't assemble it, I don't have assembly instructions, so I am not going to take it apart. The girl was adamant that I tell her where it was leaking. So finally I asked her if she expected me to take it apart. Then she put me on hold! Then she asked me again to pinpoint where it was leaking! I then got very upset and and told her I was not going to take the barbeque apart. Then she finally agreed to call to set up a service call. Then she didn't even ask me for the serial number that I was told was necessary to do so. So now I have wasted 24 hours. Now I get a call back saying I have to call Napoleon! You people can't be serious! I did not put this thing together. Your assemblers messed this up and you are passing the buck!! I don't have time to disassemble this thing to trouble shoot it! This barbeque is less than two weeks old and has been leaking natural gas from day 1!! I called in sick to work today to figure this out because my wife is extremely upset about this natural gas leak. I have just finished the leak test that Napolean requested and I have found that YOUR assemblers did not tighten 3 hoses!! 3 HOSES!! really? That's just ridiculous.

    Washing Machine

    Our washing machine has now been out of service for 7 weeks. The service techs have been here 3 times still not working. Have to wait another week for more parts. Went to London store and spoke to manager George who was less than helpful. He even threatened not to honor the warranty we paid extra for. He would not give me the name of the president of the company basically telling if I had a problem he was the one to deal with it. Sales service was great just hope you never have to service done. I have sent an email to the head office wanting contact from the president. I will update when they contact me. LOL

    At Goemans appliances we take pride in providing the best possible service and when we fall short of that mark we work to fix it. In regard to the repair of your washer, a delay has taken place which has caused the repair to take longer than anybody would be happy with, however, it is something we have had little control over as the original part for repair came in faulty and required a re-order of that part. We understand it is extremely frustrating and have been working with you as well as the servicer in question in order to expedite things as best we can. This does require us to actually receive the part in question before we can do anything. The second replacement part is scheduled to come in this week and I believe we have already arranged a service appointment that fits your scheduling needs better to get the machine up and running. In regard to contact from Head office, we have been made aware that the Director of Sales is working to contact you directly on behalf of the President to address your concerns directly, we value all feedback from customers, good or bad and use that feedback to help us ensure we are doing things the right way. We thank you for your honest feedback and hope to resolve your concerns in the very near future.

    Kitchen appliances

    After doing plenty of research for our new kitchen appliances we ended up at Goemans in Mississuaga. We couldn't have been happier with the customer service. We shopped during a very busy promotion, both Terrence and Diane took their time to go over the features of each appliance and help us make the best decisions for our space. Terence went out of his way to look at our proposed design to help with measurements. They price matched and followed through with delivery when they said they would. So far so good. We will be back to purchase a washer and dryer and hope for a repeat customer experience.

    Fisher & Paykel

    "Service" from Goemans stinks. We have been waiting for 2 months to have a broken spring in one of the fridge doors replaced. The spring is available in New Zealand and could have been here in a matter of days. Don't count on Goemans to do anything beyond selling you expensive appliances.

    Viking Appliance Set

    The price was right (promotion) and the experience very fluid (especially the installation). However, the staff don't seem to be very informed about what appliances are good. Viking range is good, but the rest are not very good, and definitely not good enough for the price paid. I bought Viking upon the recommendation of one of the staff there. Viking also has a terrible service system. Remember to do your research. Sometimes, it might be better to buy from the USA, as long a the warranty is valid.

    new home appliances

    purchased over 20,000 worth of appliances. some clearance some ordered,didnt need till house was built and was just over one and a half years when we took delivery.found out when registering warranty two appliances where 5 years old ,one ran 6 months and quit, wont cover warranty, over 800.00 to fix. should of disclosed age of clearance items, wouldnt of bought them if i knew they being floor models were that old. feeling totally taken!!!!!!!!!!tried for several months to resolve and not getting anywhere,

    purchase of washer and dryer

    Even though there are big box stores within walking distance of our home, we buy our appliances at Goeman's because of the quality of service and knowledgability of the staff. We get good advice on the products to buy, and delivery and installation always go smoothly. Since outfitting our new kitchen here four years ago, we have not gone elsewhere for appliances.

    Bosch Dishwasher & Samsung Refrigerator

    We were doing a mojor reovation to our kitchen. Visited other appliance retailors but decided to go with Goeman's. Staff was great. Gave us a really good deal. Delivery people were incredible

    Purchase of new appliance

    We bought our appliances for our new home at Goemans and were very satisfied. The salesperson was very helpful and took extra time to explain things to us. The delivery was flawless, they were professional and took all the garbage with them. We also had Goemans install our appliances and I would highly recomend them to anyone. He was on time and explained what he was doing, had all the right parts and tools for the job and was very pleasent. Great job Goemans!
