Goeman's is thrilled to take your money, but when it comes to "lemon" appliances, it takes a lot of fighting to even get them to send a repair person. We received a damaged refridgerator and they were not will ing to take it back. We will NEVER shop there again!

Best experience shopping for appliances in my life. Michael in Kitchener was extremly knowledgebale (once i convinced him that F &P actually has a DW lower than 34 inches). Pricning was good, follow up great no issue at any time throughout the process. I received numerous phone calls keeping me updated on delivery dates and time. I rarely write reviews but this is worth the effort. Human nature makes people more prone to complain instead of giving credit. I am in real estate and from now on forward will recommend this store to all my clients. I actually went to another local store before but the staff there knew a lot less than I did , so I walked. Installation was a bit tricky since we thought it was a diret connection but it needed an outlet. No big deal at the endof theday (jsut a trip to Home Depot). All is weel. Thanks Geomans and Michael. We purchased a new stainless steel refrigerator in January for our newly rennovated home. The service given during the purchase was highly professional. The selection of high quality products was exceptional. Our home was not ready for delivery and the store has been very kind in storing it for us as we were to have it delivered in the spring and it is now fall. This has been truly appreciated and we will definitely return to purchase our other appliances.

I would highly recommend Goeman's Appliances! Outstanding service and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The quality of the products they sell are first rate! We bought all of our appliance at Goeman's and have been very happy with the service we have received before, during and after our purchase! Way to go Goeman's!

We saw a promo ad in the paper and went to see what they had in the store. They had a package deal for new appliances - fridge, stove and dishwasher - at a great price (under $2000). The salesman was great. He customized the package for us and helped us determine what our needs were. We wanted a larger fridge and they were able to accommodate us at a small price increase. We also needed a range hood and microwave and the salesman helped us choose ones that would be appropriate to our family. Overall the experience was much simpler and more pleasant than I would have thought it would be. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

WOW! What fantastic customer service!! Very knowledgeable staff! They took the time to walk me through every brand of each appliance I needed to purchase. They didn't try to 'up sell' me on the the most expensive products, but instead...they tried to find the appliance that best suited my needs. The appliances were delivered on time...and they were exactly what I ordered! A very impressed customer!!!

On 14 Jan of 2010, i ordered a new Bosch cooktop and range hood from Goemans in St Catharines and put $500.00 down on the purchase It was indicated that the Bosch cook top was not in stock, but would be there in approx 2 weeks. The two weeks became FIV.E and we were without a stove for that period. However, I did pick up the range hood and in accordance with their policy. paid for it in full on pick-up. Similarly when I picked up the cook top in mid Feb, I was given a receipt indicvating my account was at a xero balance. In Jan 2010, the account rep in St catharines (Nichole?) called to say there had been an error and that, in fact I owed a further $400.20. She was puzzled as to how this occurred (given that their policy is to demand payment on pick-up) and even sent a copy of another invoice, prepared a week after my pick-up, that indicated this outstading amount. This despite the copy of an invoice, # S000016710, dated Feb 12 (the pick-up date) I have that clearly indicates zero balance! On calling the St Catharines office to discuss this, I was asked by the person answering the phone, (Ryan?) to call back in half an hour as the accountant was busy!!!!! Totally unbelievable customer relations. I would never deal with this establishment again.

I purchased a washer and dryer from them. Great selection and have all the major brands and european ones like bosch and miele. The reasons I went there is because they have custom sizes not just standard ones. Their prices are cheaper than sears.

I was recommended by my builder to look at Goemans for my appliances. I can't thank them enough. I shopped around and saved almost $1500 off of the best price I found elsewhere. (I went to Sears, Leons, The Brick, and Future Shop.) The saleperson was Dave and he was extremely knowledgable. He provided the cabinet people with all of the information they needed to do the job properly and without complications. The delivery team was excellent. They were careful not to damage my new walls and woodwork and were very polite and helpful. The installers came the next day and hooked everything up safely and professionally. I thought the price was high but I didn't know any better. Once I realized that 3 different trades were involved, (gas, plumbing and electrical) and how important an experienced installer was, I changed my mind, especially since they were the only installers to guarantee the workmanship for a full year. I did have a glitch with the front loader washing machine but Lori in service had it taken care of before my laundry piled up. I read some of the reviews and realized that it was important to respond with a good comment since most people only speak up when they had a problem. Being a retail owner myself, I know how it's impossible to make everyone happy. Issues occur, and the appliance business, as I have learned, is not a simple one. I would not expect the installation to be free now that I see what is involved. I would never trust anyone but Goemans to do that kind of work in my home. Thank you Goemans, I will be sure to spread the word to my clients, and rest assured knowing that you satisfied a tough customer with high expectations.

Had never purchased here before - always found them a bit too pricey. Old dishwasher was on last legs, finally, after 15+ years (Inglis!). Tried all the usual places - Sears, Caplans, etc. Goeman's ran an ad and had exactly the brand/model we wanted, and at a great price. Naturally out of stock, but they ordered it and honoured the price. Arrived pretty much when they estimated. No, we did not take their installation service (a little pricey; went to Alf Steffler); and we picked it up, so no delivery charge. But - great price; great product; works fabulous.
