Thanks for the great service we received when we decided to have our existing awning refurbished. Your staff showed up during the timeframe they promised and took care of both the removal and replacement quickly, professionally and were very courteous. The awning looks good as new and was worth every penny paid to have it replaced.

Our old awning from Rolltec lasted over twenty years, so we had a new, larger one installed. It looks amazing and works perfectly. This is an excellent product and the installers are very professional! Thanks so much.

We had a Rolltec awning installed 5 years ago and it is still in perfect condition! The mechanism is great, and the fabric has not worn at all, even being in a really hot western exposure. In fact, we love our Rolltec awning so much that we just ordered a custom outdoor roller screen from Rolltec to block the hot western sun when sitting on our deck. I would highly recommend Rolltec for the quality of their product, their great install services and overall professional customer service. We were going to try to save money getting something cheaper, but decided its worth a bit more to get a quality product that will look and operate perfectly for years to come. Initially a very good experience with Rolltec - two awnings installed at the back of our home. Polite, friendly staff, organized, good service for minor adjustments. In our third season with the awnings one collapsed when a short but intense storm came up. I thought it was my fault because I had left the awning extended in the wind. Rolltec removed the awning but left the header in place claiming they are not contractors and we should get a contractor in to see what might have caused what appeared to be a structural failure. Once repaired they would return and re-install the awning. Three contractors have looked at the job and all were very uneasy about the nature of the repair as the header was installed over vinyl siding and they weren't sure about how to expose the damage without it becoming a big job. I've received verbal and written quotes ranging from $1500 - $2400 to do the work. ALL of the contractors advised us that the installation was done incorrectly identifying bolts at the top of the header that were consistently out of alignment with the bolts at the bottom of the header and would have had to have missed the stud. We paid $2000 for each awning and are now being quoted $1500 - $2400 to repair one that was installed incorrectly. We have contacted Rolltec three times in the past couple of months and in speaking with one of their customer service reps, have attempted to have a more than reasonable discussion about their responsibility in the repair work. We keep being told that Helen will get back to us but Helen is not getting back to us - no one is getting back to us. It's been more than a year now and one of our awnings that was installed correctly gets a great deal of praise when we have guests over but then the conversation shifts and everyone asks, "What happened to the other one?", we point to it sitting on the other side of our deck and then the we begin re-telling our Rolltec story. Addendum: Since writing this, Rolltec has been to my home to address the problems with our awnings. There were still problems with the header not being secured properly and it did not appear safe to install if the fastening would remain unstable. Rolltec said they would return to install once the concerns were addressed. I have since undertaken a reno, removed the awnings and all of the siding. What happened was, the insulation that lay behind the siding collapsed under the pressure of the header and could no longer offer stable support. We have installed two 2 x 10 headers to the studs and applied the new siding directly over top. Secure, failsafe. We're inching closer.

I recently went through a major exterior renovation including the removal of a sun room located on a large deck. The sunroom was unusable and created two distinct spaces on my deck. To compliment my new siding I wanted a quality awning that would provide shade without affecting deck space. I made the trip to Rolltec with low expectations. I figured they would be out of my price range and I'd need to find a way to excuse myself from the showroom. It turned out to be furthest from the truth. I spent some time with Helen, consulting on colour and style, and eventually purchased a custom length unit of higher quality and for less than many others out there. Although I purchased in the fall, it just recently was installed and looks and works awesome. I highly recommend the spring roll assist if you don't go for the power option. I'm so satisfied that I'm trying to think of other places to install an awning, just to deal with Helen and the team again!

We recently purchased an awniing from Rolltec bssed on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed.We received very good service from the initial in home consultation to the installation despite it being quite a small order. In addition we are very happy the product is made locally.

Our awning had seen its days, after 13 years we reorderd our second awning from Rolltec, the quality and service was outstanding, Within 2 weeks of my order, the installers removed and installed my new awning. They were amazing, very respectful and took pride in their workmanship. Helen your amazing. Your kind word and helpful advice was greatly appreciated especially letting me know to clean the awning cover once they removed it. Helen love your spirit, and oh yes she also remembers the colour of our first awning. Love the service, the price and the quality. I would rate this company a 10.

I've owned a Rolltec awning for several years and the mechanics still work perfectly. However the environment has taken its toll on the fabric and it needed to be replaced. I emailed Helen at Rolltec on a Saturday and within ten minutes she responded with a quote on the replacement. The quote was less than I expected so I placed the order immediately. The awning was removed on the following Monday morning and reinstalled with new fabric and trim in only five days. Many thanks to Hellen and her crew for the prompt, efficient and friendly service. I had a Rolltec awning installed on my shop front. Helen was extremely helpful during the quotation period - very prompt and had answers for everything. Everything was very quick to be turned around and the installation was seamless. They were great and I couldn't live without this awning. The quality is very sturdy and seems built to last.
