    Furnace Maintenance

    I used Arpi's to come in and do maintenance in January on a furnace in a home I had just purchased. In the first visit they were able to diagnose a noise / problem with the blower fan and replaced the wheel, as well as replacing the motor capacitor which they said was out of spec. It was an expensive repair but I wanted everything brought up to spec. About 4 weeks later the furnace completely failed when I called them they asked me to wait 2 days for a repair because they wanted to ensure they sent the same technician as last time in case he had made a mistake. I was okay with this and we used space heaters for a few days, but then a different technician came so it made me feel like they were just giving me excuses to delay me. They then told me I needed a replacement motor which we paid for, again another expensive repair, but it happens. When I had a look at all of the parts that had been replaced, all of the service fees I realized that the pricing was quite out of line. Something like replacing the motor capacitor was a 5 minute job (I removed it and swapped the old one in myself when my heat died to see if it would help) and a $20 part (I later bought a spare to have on hand) and they charged me over $120 to complete this during the service visit I had already paid for. When it came time to do a new water heater and AC I decided to go with another company I found here on HomeStars and have been much happier with them. I also had another incident with an emergency plumbing leak and called Arpi's first, they told me it would be a few days to get a plumber out, so I was able to find the same company that did my AC / Water Heater and they were able to get me out someone same day at the emergency rate which I was happy to pay. Arpi's in my experience could get it fixed, but the value wasn't on par with other providers and response time wasn't what I needed.

    Furnace and duct cleaning

    I had my furnace and ducts cleaned and the technicians were timely and polite. They also checked my dryer ducts and found they were extremely blocked. Being new to home owning , I didn't realize how dangerous this could be. When I saw how blocked they were and learned the fire hazard it is, I was greatful they checked it out for us. Now I will be adding that service to our regular household maintenance. I will definitely be calling them again!

    Hot water tank replacement

    Got HW tank replaced vu ARPI through Costco service. Good price plus Costco cash rebate. Showed up on time and job got done quick and clean. Forgot one of his power drill:)

    Annual furnace servicing

    We have used Arpi's several times over the years and my parents were long-time, satisfactory customers of the company. As they had originally installed the furnace in the home where we are now living and based on past experience, we decided to give them a call to have an annual check done on this furnace. They were able to arrange an appointment immediately and gave us a call when the technician was 15 minutes away to confirm he was on his way. He arrived right at the scheduled time and spent a good length of time checking out the whole system inside and out and then explained what he had found. We were very pleased with the professional service and will definitely use the company again.

    Hot Water Tank & Venting

    We had our 2 hot water tanks replaced with 1 tank by Arpi's and they did a superior job right from the start to finish. The existing venting from the tank to the roof also had to be reduced as it was too large in diameter for just 1 tank and the furnace. Arpi's manager helped us with the design and to understand the reasoning behind the reduced venting. He was excellent and we really appreciated his expertise. The installers were also excellent and did a high quality professional job. On time, very courteous and pleasant to deal with. I am a recently retired mechanical engineer and have over 30 yrs experience with public safety issues in the oil industry, and I can honestly say, I would definitely trust Arpi's to do the job right!

    Air Conditioning Install

    Arpi's was nothing but professional with our install. Our installer's name was Bill he was a perfectionist. Got the job done and went through everything with us regarding the new unit. Would recommend Arpi's in a heartbeat.

    AC Instal - New Unit

    They arrived on time, worked cleanly, were very friendly and had my ac unit up and running by the end of the day. They explained our new thermostat and even moved our humidifier to a better location.

    Furnace Replacement

    I have had Arpis out to my house many times over the years, and I have always been more than satisfied. When it came time to replace our furnace of course they were the first ones I called. They arrived on time were very polite, cleaned up their mess and even answered all my husbands questions. We are very satisfied and will recommend Arpis to all our friends and family.     Furnace

    Not impressed. Furnace cut out while I was out of the city and my g/f called Arpi's. Issue was determined to be a replacement circuit board (apparently very common for Arpi's). This is a plug and play part. Cost to fix, totaled $1000 for 45 minutes of work for a $265 part.

    Attempted Furnace repair

    I've used Arpies in the past with success, so I gave them a try for a York furnace. After multiple visits from two different technicians and replacing a motherboard that didn't need to be replaced, the furnace was still acting up. The techs were cordial and professional but ultimately couldn't solve the problem.
