Review from Chay Meredith Review left on 31 Jan 2017Rating: 3 out of 5They said they're coming back, and to revise my review, I have bumped up the review two stars and await for them to return. _________________________________________________________ They had to come back 3 times, so far and they still need to return as the Inspector said they need to turn the furnace around, so the service panel faces the door rather than behind. Whenever you reached out via email or text, they would call my mother at work and then me even when the email states in all caps and bolded "I PREFER EMAIL SO I HAVE RECORD OF THE CONVERSATION". We also constantly say contact me not my mother! She only scheduled the initial installation, she doesn't have time for your nonsense. The new Lennox 92% efficiency [maybe their efficiency is as fake as automobile manufacturers] furnace performs poorly[It has had 9% more consumption of gas compared to my previous mid efficiency furnace(same heat 24joules rather than 22joules)], overpriced.Review from Customer of Arpi's Industries Ltd Customer of Arpi's Industries Ltd

I just had Arpi's out to install 2 new furnaces. It was 3 day job and the crew was on time and knowledgeable. This involved removal of the old equipment and re-installing new ducting and furnaces. My furnace room was clean and the crew took care in keeping the install orderly and very tidy given the amount of equipment that came in and out of the house. I am amazed at how quiet the new system is! I have used Arpi's in past, and I know from this experience that Arpi's will support me in the future if needed.Answer from pro:

Arpi's signed me to a PM contract this year and I couldn't have received better service. All of the scheduling and billing is completed electronically and is simple. The tech was fantastic and did a great job!Answer from pro:

I called to have my furnace tuned up for the winter. I was told that the technician would be at my house around 4:00pm. I received a call from the technician at 4:00pm telling me he was on his way. When Leon arrived he was very organized and efficient, he explained what he was doing and when complete went over everything I needed to know. I will call Arpi's for all my heating and cooling needs.Answer from pro:

I had recently moved into a new house and knew that the furnace was on it's last legs, I had the usual three quotes with the last gentlemen from Arpi's suggesting I head to Costco due to the rebate Costco would provide. At Costco Arpi's salesman says get the executive membership as you'll be getting money back next year. With rebates and comparison to like furnace makers, I saved over $3,000. I also was apprehensive about the air conditioner by Lennox - it is extremely quiet and am glad I purchased it because Calgary is hot enough to warrant one :)Answer from pro:

URSA is a non-profit organization that works directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries. We have been working directly with Arpi's since 2012. They complete all our plumbing and HVAC needs for all our residential group homes. I just wanted to say how much I truly appreciate everything Arpi’s does for URSA. We had an emergency incident at one of our group homes this morning and your staff have been incredible in dealing with the situation and being quick with solutions and completing repairs. Also, Vern came directly on-site to ensure everything was okay. We can’t thank you all enough for always going above and beyond for URSA and ensuring the safety of our clients is #1. A father and son team came to our house last week to replace our 40+ year old furnace, hot water tank and install air conditioning. They were on time, very courteous and took the time to explain everything and answered all of our questions. They protected all our floors, everything was installed neat and tidy, very well done, they took the time to stay late enough to explain all the hand over documents and operating very well. Having been a home owner for 20+ years, we have had work done for various items in these homes and this was by far the best experience with the best installers we have ever had. needed a furnace repair on a 2 yr old unit that Arpi's had initially installed. happy with the work but not with the price charged for labour. $125 for diagnostic and another $466 for replacement of 3 parts (parts were covered by warranty). tech was here for 2 hrs and even factoring in another 1 hr for travel time amounts to almost $200 per hr which is unreasonable in my mind. had expected maybe $100 - $125 an hour. unfortunately did not get a quote for labour before work was done. arpi's mgmt was not open to any reduction in the charge.Answer from pro:
As has been discussed with Mr. H. earlier in February, all charges were reviewed and appropriately applied. The extended warranty on Mr. H's equipment was not valid due to lack of maintenance and thus charges were applicable. We appreciate the feedback. Thank you. Arpi's.

I've used Arpis for furnace maintenance, duct cleaning and major plumbing for more that 15 years. This past year I had them in for furnace maintenance as usual and the tech decided to clean the condenser pump. When we turned on the furnace 4 days later for the first time, the pump burned out. A different tech came and replaced it for several hundred dollars more. I called the manager who promised to look into it within 2 days and he never called back. Good job arpis, you lost my business and all future referrals.Answer from pro:

I called this morning . Spoke to Avery . Very pleasant and help full . I had Jacob arrive less then a hour after I placed the call . He showed me exactly what problem was and the cost .
