After about 10 years, it was time for an upgrade. Our original supplier was "too big" to be interested. We contacted Geoff through a referral. We talked our scoping and Geoff never aggressively "upsold" us on anything but made some very useful suggestions. After sales support has been phenomenal. Most issues can be dealt with remotely. We will definitely refer and also am looking to re-engage to expand the system.

Miscommunication with the builder / smartspace and us the customer but all issues have been resolved - they went above and beyond to make correct this mistake. Thank you Geoffrey for all your help.

OUTSTANDING - Louis makes this company shine and has made our experience even better. Walking into the Smartspace we didn't know what to expect other then the possibilty of them trying to up sell us on everything. We met with Louis and he asked us the second we sat down " so guys what are you looking for in your house " after he has explained to us what smartspace does. We moved around a couple ethernet outlets and we were on our way. He didn't push anything on us - didn't upsell us on anything he just basically said okay we can do the changes you have made. As we got to the car we felts that maybe we should of asked some more questions about possibly doing more such as security system and in ceiling speakers. We asked him how much things would be that we were not planning on doing and we were pleasantly surprised at how much they charge for these items. Louis gave his advice on in ceiling speakers and security systems and made this meeting super smooth. If you are needing to go to a meeting at smartspace or looking to do any low voltage work in your home go with Louis he knows his stuff and will give you advice on where to put your money so these your not wasting it away on something a door to door sales man is trying to sell you.

Excellent service. Accommodated a very short notice and performed the work well with minimal impact to the homeowner. Really took the time to explain all the details and ensured the job was satisfactory.

I found that everyone was very knowledgable especially Louis and took the time to explain the different options and things that I didn't understand. We are very very satisfied. we started with an old theatre system with old components and ended up with an up to date system without spending a fortune.

I had used smart space before with a previous build and the service and products were exceptional. I recently bought a new house and unfortunately I retained the company that installed all the wiring. They took longer than forecasted and I never felt comfortable with their service. "Cowboys" is the term I would use. After several visits to fix some major problems I called smart space. Geoff and his team were fantastic, everything works perfectly and all issues were promptly taken care of and Geoff Gay is always available to answer any questions. I strongly recommend Smartspace for all home audio needs, their service is second to none.

We had smart space technologies do all the audio visual in our recent home build. We sat down with Adrian and came up with a plan to suit our needs. He was very knowledgeable and was able to make suggestions for items that I would have missed. We have 3 home theatres in the house as well as speakers throughout the interior and exterior all running off our phones and ipads. I was worried that it would be too complicated for my parents when they came to dog sit. This has not proven to be an issue as the system is very user friendly. I would also like to recognize their installer who worked long hours to get us up and running as quickly as possible. He had to work around movers, other trades and 2 dogs that were initially not thrilled with all the activity. His patience with the dogs won them over and certainly made him a great person to work with for us. I would not hesitate to recommend smart space to anyone for a small or large job, and will use them for any future projects we may have.

Our experience with SmartSpace was very positive from start to finish. Geoff was extremely helpful at the design stage - he explained all of our options clearly, was honest about what was recommended, what was a 'nice to have' and what could be added later, and was able to design a package that met our needs and was reasonably priced. The communication throughout the process was clear and prompt, and any questions I had were answered to my satisfaction. At the time of installation, the team was professional and explained the equipment clearly. When there was a technical glitch along the way, we were particularly impressed that the technician stayed after hours on a Friday to make sure we would at least have cable TV for the weekend. Importantly, the relationship did not end with the installation of the equipment - we are 6 months in and I still communicate with Geoff when I have questions about the equipment or setup. Our renovation was far from smooth but the AV installation was the one area in which we had no problems. I have recommended SmartSpace to a few friends since and will continue to do so in the future.

smartSPACE has an excellent customer service focus. At the design stage, smartSPACE does a fine job of determining the customer needs and introducing the technology to match those needs in an integrated and simple (for the customer to operate) way. They are very familiar with high end electronics, video and audio so they are able to provide helpful guidance for decisions about these components. During installation, smartSPACE staff are courteous and respectful. Following installation, smartSPACE are very prompt and responsive to fixing issues as they arise. The very nature of sophisticated and complex electronics is that there will be issues, so he key is getting them resolved as quickly as possible, and smartSPACE are available when required.

After several missed appointments by our builders recommended installer, along with an extremely poor installation attempt, we decided we needed a company that could complete the work properly. After reviewing the HomeStar ratings for SmartSPACE we knew this was the company we wanted to work with, and we were completely correct. From the initial consultation to the completed project, the entire experience has been top notch. The onsite consultation was excellent and they were able to point out items to be completed that we knew the previous installer would not have done. The onsite installers continued the excellent service from the initial consultation. Polite and efficient at the work required, we felt extremely comfortable with the work completed. We would have no hesitation recommending SmartSPACE for any audio/visual work.
