    Ice Removal from Roof

Called T. Simpson when we awoke to a leak in our living room. Customer service was beyond exceptional! Tiffany (I believe ?) was incredibly helpful and had the guys out within hours. The techs were courteous and quick. Very impressed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend T. Simpson Roofing. They saved the day! Leak stopped immediately after roof was cleared.

    Ice Removal From Roof

Made arrangements for company to clear ice off roof. Came and cleared ice off upper roof only. Called back and made arrangements for lower roof. Did not show. Requested partial refund. Called/emailed for days without any response to my refund. Finally received rude email back letting me know that I only contracted ice removal for the problem area and not the entire roof. Also told me that someone did come back to clear the lower roof. No one showed and I have daily pics to back me up. Company ask for credit card up front and I have yet to see an invoice from them. Some damage to roof with missing singles and dented eaves downspout from falling ice. Workers left patches of ice along outer edge of roof which has caused melting and second leak. Quality of service terrible and company rude and unreliable. Would never recommend this company.

    roof vent replacement

Company came to my door offering to replace roof vent. Quoted $175 cash to do the work in writing with signed agreement. Claimed they would be by the next Tuesday. Never showed up and didn't call to say they weren't coming. I called them Friday to see what happened with no response. Workman showed up a week later demanding $300.00 as "danger pay" due to the pitch of the roof. Spoke to the individual who quoted the job and was told they refused to honour the written agreement and refused to do the work completely saying it wasn't safe. Not sure how that works since the roof was done by the builders and repaired by someone else prior to my purchase of the home. Definitely do not recommend this company.

    complete roof reshingle

Most expensive quote. (Wanted quality beyond anything else) Recommended from friends. Installation day Site Supervisor (injured) not there. Damaged shingles, improper work, nails and paraphenalia left everywhere. Site Supervisor arrives next day apologizes for absence and poor results. Begins clearing debris.(gathers a plastic bag full) t simpson arrives says its acceptable work. However they repair the multiple areas of concern to appease me. 6 months later Snow coming through roof all winter I have been informed also is apparently acceptable.. Paid for quality but got fancy talk inadequate work and frustration from salesman t simpson RIP-OFF.

    New Roof and insulation

After receiving many quotes to fix my roof I decided to go with T. Simpson Roofing as Tim totally impressed me with his in depth knowledge of the whole roofing system and with the products that were used. His team showed up exactly when they were scheduled to. The entire team were very friendly and did a fantastic job. After the roof was complete they did a sweep of the property to ensure that there were no nails left on the ground below. The job was then inspected by the owner before they left the work site.

    New shingles

They came in at 12 and had job completed in 6 hours. They were fast and efficient. Left the job site very clean and were very friendly. My neighbours were amazed how fast and well the job was done. I would have them again but job is guaranteed for 50 years so I don't think I will need them again.

    New roof

My roof was in bad repair and Tim (T. Simpsons is a family owned and operated business which I really liked) came out the Fall prior to repair and gave me his opinion and a fair estimate. When the weather was conducive of the repair he came back out and we firmed up our arrangements. He improved the original offer and maintained a fair market price. I now have a really attractive and upscale shingle on my house. I would definitely recommend this company.

    New Roof

This week marks the one-year anniversary of the installation of my new roof by T. Simpson Roofing. After a year of heat, humidity, driving rain, heavy winds, and melting snow, I feel comfortable leaving this review and commenting on the quality of the roof installation. But first, I must comment on the customer service. After weeks of researching roofing companies and products, I chose to hire T. Simpson Roofing because: * Their price was at the low end of all the quotes that I received; * They provided a wide range of product options (whereas most roofers only deal with one shingle manufacturer); * They have an office and showroom that is open to the public where they have every brand and colour of shingle on display, along with the different underlayment products; * They provide large shingle samples that you can take home, and they provide lists of addresses of their previous jobs organized by shingle colour and manufacturer so that you can see their work and also check out the different colours; and * They answered all of my product questions and everyone was pleasant and professional to deal with. In terms of the installation itself, the roof has held up well during its first year. I have not had any leaks and the shingles remain intact. Prior to the installation, the office kept in regular communication in terms of the installation date (possible delays due to rain were communicated in advance), and they provided helpful hints on how to prepare for installation day (such as cutting the grass short to make it easier for the crew to pick up nails following installation, as well as advice on how to protect my property such as putting the cover on the outdoor A/C fan). I was pleasantly surprised by the crew that arrived to do the installation. They were a clean-cut, experienced and professional group of young men who explained what they were doing, pointed out any issues that they noticed with the roof (such as the uneven fascia over my garage and they explained how they would try to disguise the problem with the shingles), and they answered any questions that I had. The installation was not an easy one - my house has a very steep roof, had two layers of shingles to remove, has lots of peaks and valleys, and I had ordered extra underlayment which added to the work. The crew worked almost non-stop from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and they never lost their energy or enthusiasm. My only complaint, or perhaps more of a suggestion, is that the property would have benefitted from a few more protective boards and tarps. (I am still picking up nails and bits of shingles from the lawn and garden.) There were a couple of small issues that I noticed after installation was complete. I called the office and they sent someone over within two weeks to address the issues to my satisfaction (one was a bent piece of metal, and one was a shingle in the valley that required repair). A plastic window well was broken during the installation process, and the company offered to reimburse me for the full cost to replace it. I was pleasantly surprised (actually, I was shocked) when I found out that the office did not process my payment until they heard back from me that everything was resolved to my satisfaction and that I was happy with the job. That is the mark of a truly professional company that values their customers.
