I hired T. Simpson roofing to install a new roof on my home last fall. The man who measured my roof was very polite and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain exactly what I was buying. The office staff was very polite and helpful. I requested a wednesday install, because I have a dog that is scared of loud noises. It rained the day before and I did not think they would come as the might be behind. Sure enough the office called to assure they would still make it on Wednesday for me. Wednesday morning at 7:00 am the crew arrived and did an excellent job and the cleanup was great. This spring a raccoon damaged part of my roof. The damages were not covered under the warranty, however the service man came to house within 24 hours. He did knot even charge me for the repairs. I am very pleased with T.Simpson Roofing and would recommend them highly.

Great to work with. On time on budget. Very knowledgable staff. Would highly recommend. The arrived when they said they would and completed the job in one day. The staff is very friendly and went out of their way to make the job quick and succesful.

I am contractor myself and within the construction industry there are all kinds on contractors, good and bad. T. Simpson Roofing is by far one of the best I have ever dealt with!!!! From the my first interaction with the office staff, to the estimator, and then finally with the crew of installers I felt like this was a professionial run company. The office staff was pleasant to deal with and was very excessible. When I called the office there was someone there to answer my call, not a machine. The estimator was knowledgeable, prompt and helpful in many areas of the job. The crew did a great quality job. Those installers worked harder then I have seen any contractor work in a long long time. The showroom was a great help inwhich the owner helped my wife select the right shingle and colour for our house, it looks amazing. I would recommend this company to anybody who wants a quality job, they are worth every penny!! Jason

Helped recommend proper shingles and flashing - did work in one day - cleaned up - responded to a request to repair a missed caulking area without hesitation - very satisfied.

Workmanship (9/10, but roof hasn’t been through any bad weather): Work was unfinished, but once fixed (2 weeks later), looks good for the most part. Discoloured shingles were used and not discarded (I would have hoped they wouldn’t have been used, but they likely came with the bundle of shingles and is only slightly noticeable) as well strips of plastic wrap was left sitting underneath installed shingles. The roof hasn’t been through anything yet though, so it’s a preliminary score. Clean-up was good though, vents and shingles look square and work was done quickly, within 6 hours. Staff (7/10): Staff (with the exception of the first receptionist and the manager or owner that I talked to) were pleasant. The tradesmen that did the roof were exceptionally helpful, with the exception of their communication with the company regarding my unfinished roof, they went above and beyond. Telephone/office staff were also pleasant, considering. Manager or owner was terrible. Customer Service (2/10): Really bad. I’ve dealt with The Brick furniture store and thought THAT was bad customer service, but these guys take the cake. The roof was unfinished, I was sent a bill while the roof was unfinished (with no follow-up call), called first time to irritated receptionist and promised same-day inspection (which didn’t occur), had to call a second time (1.5 weeks later) for an inspection and fix. When I called to settle the bill, I was hoping that the company would take some kind of accountability for poor job and was offered $50 (1.2% of the billed cost) and a pathetic half-apology by the irritated manager or owner. I told them to keep both. I wouldn’t recommend T.Simpson Roofing to anyone.

T. Simpson Roofing has no care about the health and safety of it's workers. No one was wearing harnessess and lanyards and when complete they tried to charge me for a ice and water sheild that was not installed, and to top it off the roof leaked, which they would not fix to my satisfaction. I called in a [competitorg] from Toronto and they did a great job.

We have a large roof suface the is high pitched, T Simpson came in the lowest cost against the major roofers. They showed up when promised, completed the job and cleaned up as scheduled. The minor deficiencies, which will happen with a job of this size, was fixed without any issues. I would recommend them highly and plan to use them on our other property.

These guys did the work the way we rarely see these days, with skill, speed but good workmanship as well. They did it the old fashoned way - meant to last and well finished.
