Although it emerged well into my life, I love this ability we now have as consumers to share our experiences with other prospective buyers. I’ve used it a few times to sound warnings when I think I’ve been shabbily treated or when a product has fallen short of expectations, but I much prefer to use it to bestow praise. This is our way, as consumers, of helping each other to make informed choices and avoid costly mistakes.
Acclaimed Heating fits very squarely in the category warranting praise. From the moment that Dan Kacew arrived to provide a quote, I knew I was dealing with a quality organization and quality people.
Knowing that my job would involve significant expense, I researched everything until my head started to spin. But at the end I knew enough about heating and air conditioning - equipment manufacturers, suppliers and installers – to make an informed decision. I knew that Trane was a top-rated brand for reliability, as assessed by Consumer Reports. I also knew that Acclaimed was very highly regarded for the quality of their work; this was crucial because I encountered one comment again and again in my research - no matter how good the equipment, the key component is the quality of the installation.
So, with those key bases covered it would come down to price. Dan did everything he could to make our new system affordable, and answered all my questions promptly and efficiently. After Dan had done his part, I was given an installation date just five days hence. That’s when Charles, Chris and Adam arrived – bang on time – to start work. They were very friendly and highly efficient, and quick to explain what they were doing and answer questions. They discussed location options with me, and were very respectful of me and my house. It was no mean feat to install everything when the process involved finding the right location for everything and running lines through our ceilings and outside walls, but they did it inside the estimated time. And then they tidied up.
I secured five quotes and only one other company came remotely close to Acclaimed, with the others trailed off in the distance. In the end it was, as they say, a “no brainer” to choose Acclaimed, and we’re delighted with the results.
