    Life Savers

I was throwing a dinner party when the guest toilet appeared to be blocked. This was very problematic as the evening was just starting and with just one other bathroom in the house I needed the problem resolved. I called Royal as per their 24/7 emergency service. Within 10 minutes I recieved a call from the Plumber on duty for the weekend (as explained by the lovely lady answering the phone) and he said he would be their within 45 minutes. When he arrived he descretely went to the bathroom and went straight to work. It took him 15 minutes to clear the blockage and check all other fixtures in the bathroom. Mike was very polite and very professional. Thanks Royal Plumbing!

    Plumbing

Horrible service, these guys are jokes, they hire a bunch of kids that don't know anything, plus they are rude, would not recommend at all. Late almost every day or would not show up on site, guys left there garbage on site and also there smokes, if you want professionals look elsewhere

    Hot Water Tank Service

My hot water tank sprung a leak and I asked my friend to recomended a first rate plumbing company. She recomended Royal Plumbing to me and justifiably so because they were both polite from when I called them to the minute they drove off in thier van. Aside from being exceptionally polite and well-mannered, there service was quite fast. They responded to my call within a very reasonable time and replaced the tank with ease.

    Washroom Renovation

I wanted to completely renovate my washroom and was quoted by multiple licenced professionals. Their price was consistently around $10,000. Royal Plumbing Services quoted the job at a substantially lower price and provided world class workmanship. The finished product was astonishing and was completed in a relativly quick fashion. The workers were polite, always kept the work area clean and as said before provided a remarkable result.

    Drane Service

They solved the clogged drain problem; but the appointment was difficult to book as it was difficult to get them to commit to a specific time. The service was ok and they solved the problem; but one of the pipes they installed became loose after 6 months and had to be reinstalled.

    Installation of kitchen/bathroom sinks

This past summer (July 2006), I needed some plumbing work done quickly (installation of previously purchased kitchen counter & sink, and bathroom pedestal sink). Tenants were keen to move into the apartment I had spent the previous 4 months renovating. In desperation, I chose Royal Plumbing from the Yellow Pages, and came to regret that decision. In spite of the fact that I had prepared everything for them (e.g, taken out the old vanity in the bathroom, removed the doors from the kitchen sink unit) so that the actual work only took about 4 hours from start to finish, they ended up charging me just shy of $1,000 for the job an outrageous sum in my opinion, since the "two men" I paid for were one licensed plumber and a boy who was clearly there simply to carry the heavy tools and the price did not include any of the fixtures, which all had been provided by me. I believe that I was charged pretty much double the regular retail price for all the materials used to do the job and all materials partly used were charged in full, with the remains taken away by them (presumably to be used on other jobs). To add insult to injury, I had to call them back twice, as the bathroom sink leaked after installation, and still leaked after the first visit that was made to fix it. If they had not appeared in a timely fashion to fix the leak, this review would have been even more damning. As it is, Royal Plumbing is a company I would never choose again, or recommend to anyone else.

    Fix leaky shower

Showed up to fix a leaky shower faucet. Next day, faucet was leaking twice as badly. Called them on >5 different occasions over 2 weeks to try to schedule them in to fix it. They never had time in their schedule to return, or would schedule a time and not show up. Eventually I called Lampert plumbing, they came out next day, fixed the problem in 1 minute, seems the Royal plumbing guy had incorrectly reassembled the faucet. Follow ups to Royal yielded no response.
