Verdun Windows And Doors reviews (1710)

We decided on Verdun because of their “20 year no bull warranty”. We had 15 windows installed in November. On day one, the installer noticed 2 of the windows on the same wall both opens to the right, but I was told the same day their sales rep was texted and had ordered a replacement for us. Then we saw 3 of the large windows had no head jams (needed for our blinds re install). In fact, none of their windows would allow the re-installation of our Hunter/Douglas cassette blinds-- because the design of their windows made it impossible. Re install was a requirement made clear to the sales rep by us many times! We did not expect a guaranteed, but the windows should at least accommodate our blinds. We are now out $2,800 for hugely discounted new blinds and $11,079 for our H/D blinds. A month after what should have been a cozy home with new windows for Christmas, none of the problems (replacement window, dents and scratches, no head jams, trim that is loose) has been seriously addressed, and the latest from Verdun: $250 ‘compassionate compensation’ (we think the $250 will come with a ‘legal release’ for all their liabilities and wrongs; to keep their ratings up and us quiet!) We are now looking at legal action. Their "No Bull" warranty is really--all "BULL”. Once they have your money, it is blame the victim. One alternative to Verdun might be to consider a smaller company to avoid all this hassle and disappointment!

Excellent product, and professional installation. Purchased 6 windows, all custom made. Installation was done in a single day. Great quality workmanship and left the job site cleaner than when it was started!

Verdun was professional, on time and cleaned up before they left. All 3 were very polite and left the place as it was before they arrived. I highly recommend them

Our home had original wood windows through out. After receiving multiple quotes from other companies, we contacted Verdun and were impressed with their manufacturing and energy ratings. As soon as the windows were installed in November we immediately noticed a difference in heat retention in our home. Overall we are very satisfied.

Hi, Just had a partial install of an order we placed in September with Kailen. She was very knowledgeable and helped us make the best decisions for our home. Our installers Jason and Ryan were great, showed up earlier than expected which was nice. Very clean and professional. Spoke well and respectful of our home. I took off a star for the company however as we will need to wait a few more months for the rest of the order.

We had Verdun do all our windows a few years ago and now we wanted to cut and install a patio door where we previously had a window. They provided a very skilled mason to do the brick work and sent Jean-Marc and Gent to do the door installation. The guys were professional, easy to communicate with, did incredible work and were very clean and respectful throughout the install. We are VERY pleased! Verdun has now done all our windows and cant recommend them enough.

It's been six months since I ordered and paid in full for my front door, I still haven't get it yet. Tried to call the company no one can give me an answer when will I get my door. Customers service are so bad, all the respond for me is "we looks into it and call you back" which never did . Just let me hanging in the air wondering am I going to get my door?

They came on time as planned without any delay. Even though one of the two guys looked tired after spending the weekend with his child, they were able to work effectively and efficiently. They were very professional, and organized and the work was completed in a timely fashion. The site was cleaned before leaving the premises.

Installers put mats down to protect our floors or removed work shoes if req., & they were friendly & professional. Removed 8 windows of various sizes, right to the framing, & installed new windows. New flashing where req., & new MDF trim inside. Caulking carried out & nail holes on MDF filled. We painted the inside trim with two coats of paint before installing old blinds on two windows. Some blinds don't fit, so we will do new window treatments. All old windows & scrape stuff taken away. All completed in one day. Very impressed & will use Verdun for any future window replacements.
