    Asphalt Shingles Roofing Repair and Attic Insulation Repair and Upgrade

    Purchased a 4 year old home. During my review before making an offer on the house, I wasn’t comfortable with the attic insulation or the asphalt shingle connection with flashing around great room dormers. I called out Great Canadian Roofing to inspect inside and out for me. Their attention to detail was exceptional. Their personnel confirmed the exact extent of the deficiencies that some other contractor had installed. The previous contractor had done a very poor job on the garage and home. The garage was R10 at best and the house was R40 with all sorts off batt insulation missing, blown in insulation poorly installed, and the range hood was disconnected, vent into the attic. Great Canadian Roofing’s insulators and roofers explained all of the concerns that were on the house, and they gave me options (with pricing) to resolve it. I bought the home, they fixed all of the deficient work for the prices quoted, and Great Canadian’s installers did the work better than I had imagined. There were no hidden costs. They also quickly responded when I lost soffit and fascia, repairing quickly and for a good price with a perfect match. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

    New Roof/ insurance claim

    my roof was damaged in a hail storm. they came and did a quote and my roof was replaced right away. very friendly and pleasant to deal with. would highly recommend this company.

    replaced shingles on roof anf cladding on a beam supporting the deck roof

    The shingles were on time as scheduled and the crew worked well, showed consideration for the satellite antennas, all in all a good job but there were about 2 dozen "shinners" where the roofing nails showed slightly because the tab didn't cover them completely. They tared them and hopefully that will be the end of it. That why only a 4 out of 5 on satisfaction. They were to come back to do the cladding the following week and never showed till over 3 weeks later after I called them several times. They were always good to deal with and I'm sure were busy with other things. Overall a good job and I would recommend them to others.

    New roof, eavestrough & downspouts, fence & window repairs including the removal and replacement of any broken or rotten window stops and brick moulding.

    The roof, eavestroughs & downspouts were replaced in late July. Sometime in September, the fence was repaired. We received an invoice for the total project but the window stops and brick moulds were not repaired. Great Canadian apologized for the delay and would send someone out right away. Right away was another two weeks. We expected any windows and brick mouldings on any windows to be repaired or replaced. Ultimately, one window with stops was repaired. It was 30 minutes worth of work and two small pieces of wood stops but we were invoiced $500 for the work. Another window was deemed too rotten to repair and another company needs to replace. Notwithstanding the estimate & contract was to perform window stops and brick moulds as needed we think we were overbilled for work that was not performed or required. Several calls to Great Canadian and a meeting with a Rep at the property lead to a $150 reduction in the overall invoice. We believe Great Canadian is aware billing us $350 for minimal work is high but they put it off to scheduling and hiring of subcontractors. That was their problem and not our problem. The roof, eavestroughs, downspouts, and fence repairs were well done and look great we were pleased with it. What was a good customer experience soured as the company did little to assure we were satisfied with the window work and costs.

    Roof

    So far so good. :) Waiting for tiles to settle. Service was excellent from Canadian Roofing from start to finish. The roofers worked hard and cleaned up. Only took 2 1/2 days.

    Hail damage on house and garage - roof and siding

    The contractors that were sent to perform the roofing and siding repair were very professional and left their worksite clean when done. Despite a bit of bad weather, they were able to get the work done in excellent time. Our contact was very accomodating and thorough.

    Both Siding (April) and Roofing (August) done.

    We have had 2 jobs done by Great Canadian this year. When you are satisfied with a company, all I can say is "Stick with them".In April had all our siding replaced on our 2 storey home. Great Canadian arrived on agreed upon date and totally completed and cleaned up within 3 days . No hassles. The project manager stopped in to check if we had any concerns during the job and had a final inspection after. Then in August replaced the shingles . Once again, great service...we even had them add an extra downspout at the last minute. There may be little issues but this company follows thru and works with you til you are satisfied. Inspections during and after completion again. Both jobs well done.

    I cannot say enough great things about this company. In particular the young man they sent us by the name of Yan Piccard to do the work. He was EXCEPTIONAL!!!. His attention to detail and dedication to doing the job to perfection was Awesome. We were so impressed with this young man, we convinced a co-worker to call to get an estimate for herself. I just hope Yan is still roofing next year when we have our Garage roof done.

    Exterior and roofing

    After doing a bunch of research I decided to go with Great Canadian and I was impressed and extremely satisfied every step of the way. Matt was extremely knowledgeable and honest and was available anytime I called. Their installers were punctual and the work was done with pride and of high quality. I’ve seen many shotty siding jobs but these guys do it right. Their material is good quality and they are awesome to work with. The entire process was stress free and I had full confidence in their ability. They provided a service that is one of the best in the city for an absolutely reasonable price. Thank you Great Canadian. I will recommend you to any one needing exterior work done.
