I had this company come add insulation in the attic space and to relocate a bathroom van exhaust so I could add more solar panels on my roof. The guys that came to do the work were very courteous, knowledgeable and very respectful. They did a really great job!!! After work was completed the guys vacuumed and cleaned up after themselves and made sure there was no mess left behind. Would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Great Canadian Roofing and Siding Great Canadian re-shingled our house and also insulated and re-sided this summer, 2023. The roof work was done first and its a very good job. The crew worked quickly and stayed off the roof when it was too hot to protect the new shingles. Some of the new drip cap is somewhat far out making evestrough reinstallation a bit challenging. The clean-up was quite thorough but there are lots of roofing nails scattered on the roof and in the yard below. This shows the problem of doing the final roof clean-up with a leaf blower. The siding job took 5 weeks and is also really well done. The field estimator (Matt), the project manager (also Matt), and the installation crew (Mike and James) were excellent to deal with and always responsive to special requests and needs. They were respectful of our landscaping and meticulous about quality. The house looks great and the new insulation will make a difference to heating and cooling. One small problem did occur: We had one new window installed and I needed to specify the extra thickness the new insulation, strapping and siding would add in order to custom-make the window correctly. The estimate I was given was incorrect, so the window ended up a little too far out. However, Mike took care of the error skillfully and all is well. We are very happy with the look of the finishing around the windows. Before the job started, we were quite concerned about what new insulation and siding would do to the trim around the windows, whether it would extend too far and be overly visible from inside as we looked out. Great Canadian should take pictures of various window treatments they have done to give a better idea of the possibilities so homeowners can make an informed choice. A lot of waste material went into the dumpster, both unusable and recyclable materials. We pulled out cardboard and metal to take to recycling ourselves. Anyone concerned with recyclable material going to the landfill should request the crew to set those aside to make recycling easier. Great Canadians quote was reasonable and beat two others; the finished jobs (roof and siding) are excellent; we are happy with this renovation and with the people we dealt with. We would certainly recommend Great Canadian to and homeowners in Saskatoon and area.
