Last year we were told that our furnace had to be replaced. We had an expert come out from Service Experts to review the situation and discovered that all we needed were some repairs. They saved us thousands of dollars and a lot of headache!

Our furnace was not running properly so we called Service Experts as in our previous home we had used them to replace an old furnace. They were known as Central Aire at that time and we were quite satisfied with their product and service. For this repair the original tech dispatched came out with in about 6 hours of calling on a Sunday. He quickly diagnosed the problem as being a faulty safety switch. We were told that he or another tech would return tomorrow with the part and that we would be charged only for the original service call plus the part. Seemed fair and reasonable so we agreed and paid $103 for the service call. A second tech arrived the following afternoon and installed the part and told us that we had to pay for a second service call in addition to the part another $140. Even when the original tech confirmed what we were told the district service manager refused to adjust the bill to match the original quote, instead he knocked $20 off. So for about 30 minutes (15 minutes each day) of work on the part of Service Experts we were charged for 2 full hours of service time in addition to the cost of the part.

The gentleman that came and serviced our furnace was very knowledgable and professional. He tested several things while completing the service as well as after, to ensure our furnace wouldn't cut out again. He tried to find the least cost service to charge us for when complete, so it was nice we weren't 'gouged' for the service work done.

We got an air conditioner installed last summer - not cheap but worth every penny after you have used it a few times on those warm nights where you can't sleep. A1 just came back to service the unit for the annual maintenance and they were fantastic again. Great customer service from the initial sale, to the install to the maintenance. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends.

Our furnace refused to work on one of Calgary's coldest weekend evenings. A phone call to A1 Chesney's call centre brought out a service technician (ST) within hours. He was prompt, reassuring and extremely competent in bringing old Bessy back to life. Repairs were quick because the ST had a very extensive inventory of spare parts in his van. A1 Chesney's annual service contract entitles the homeowner to one free Fall tune-up of your furnace, 15% off diagnostics and parts, and puts you on the top of the list for emergency call outs. We have been a client of A1 Chesney for over 14 years and can highly recommend this company!

The call center service booked an estimate and the estimate staff never showed up or called to cancel. The next day I called the office and spoke with the manager: Glen. He provided an over the phone quote and had the service person out the next day. The work was done well and quickly and the rate was VERY reasonable, beating competitor's rates. The company also did a follow up call to ensure customer satisfaction.

A1 Chesney installed a high efficiency furnace and high efficiency water heater in our villa in August 2010. Both installations were done efficiently and to our entire satisfaction. PVC venting for both units was up though the existing chimney so that there are no ground-level vents, thus meeting condo restrictions.

I called Central Aire for a quote on central airconditining for my home. They were not only on time and professional, but exceptional to deal with. They not only provided my quote, but replaced my humidifier filter for me. Very helpful general advice and feel confident that they will do an amazig job.
