    broken range on arrival

I had my LG range delivered only to find it was dead on arrival!!! CAS would not exchange and they kept [passing the buck to other departments. I still don't have a working range. There is no accountability and impossible to speak to a manager or supervisor. CAS are not honest people!!!!! stay far away from this store!

NEVER BUY FROM CANADIAN APPLIANCE SOURCE!!

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! Their return and exchange policy is the worst!!! Bought a washer and dryer machine from them 2 weeks a go, unfortunately after 1 hour the delivery crew left I noticed two big SCRATCHES AND DENTS ON TOP PANEL. I didn't noticed them on delivery because they had the instruction manual taped over the scratches. weird thing is the manual had no rips or anything. It seems like it was purposely place in that specific spot so that customers don't see it. Once the delivery crew leaves your home, CAS washes their hands and they don't take any responsibility for the damaged items. even if you report it the same day or within 48 hours. They don't care and they just refer you to call the manufacture and get a technician to come fix it. Two days later I noticed the machine was working, not functional at all! I contacted them again and told them the machine not only was scratched and dented but also not working, and they still refused to exchange it or refund the money! It has been more than two weeks now, the technician from samsung came and said the door of the machine might be the problem but he is not really sure it might be something els. In that case they will have keep coming to find the real problem. The technician takes several days to come, then they have to order the piece thats broken, you have to wait for that piece to arrive, then schedule them again etc... the process is long! and CAS does not reimburse for the delays or inconveniences the customers have. THEY SALE YOU DENTED AND SCRATCHED APPLIANCES so that you can claim it to the manufacture that way they don't have to sale dented items for less in their store and lose money. It is probably a common practice. After reading all the reviews this has happen to many others. The store manager doesn't help, or respond any phone calls. After you buy from them if something is wrong YOU ARE LEFT TO FIX IT ON YOUR OWN! I went to the store after all the frustration, the manager asked us to leave yelling and she even pushed my husband because he wanted to record the conversation. The location is the Etobicoke location. The store manager is very rude. We are considering to sue them for assault. She has the right to ask us to leave the store but she is not supposed to grab or touch people and push them. THEY PROMISE YOU THE WORLD IN THE STORE BUT ONCE THE ITEM IS DELIVERED YOU ARE ON YOU OWN.

WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS RETAILER

From the moment we entered your store, your sales personnel never even acknowledged our presence in the Whitby Showroom. We were there for over 20 minutes, left and returned before we were greeted. Despite our first impression, we decided to purchase the laundry station given that the salesmen arranged better pricing than your competitors. We requested that we needed it to be delivered, and now that I am recalling my in store conversation WE DID ask him if it would be a problem for the delivery guys to directly carry the new system into our basement; to which he replied that they would deliver it to wherever we would like so longst we request it at the time they arrive. At no time did he ask or had any other delivery issues in regards to the dimensions of the hallways or stairway to the specified location. We then scheduled the delivery for today Friday, Jun 14th. And it was confirmed that they would deliver it between 10:10am and 2:10pm. A few minutes after 1pm the delivery men arrived and I requested that the unit would need to be moved to our basement laundry room. They came into my home to have a look at the area, and it was determined that it could not pass and if they even tried, it would require at least another 1-2 people to ensure no damages would incurred to the unit and to my residence, as our basement is fully renovated. In order to make this delivery happen I have taken time of work to be at home. Firstly, I feel that it was the responsibility of the CAS salesman to inform the delivery company that 3 - 4 men should be allocated for my delivery. As a result I will need to take another day off work to be available for the delivery, beside the fact that my family has tons of laundry to catch up on and now incurring further delays. I communicated this to their home delivery, and CAS customer service at which time their reply was they could do nothing to get this carried to our basement and is currently remains today in our garage. We were then told a team of 4 would arrive on Jun 18th, as they do not work over the weekend to accommodate. The CAS customer service then transferred me to your escalation department where I left a message to return my call. Unfortunately my experience with her was very confrontational, rude, and unnecessary, and has now escalated me to request that your unit be picked up and request a refund. I explained to her that I would now have to take another day off work, that I had indeed had scheduled an installation service man to arrive Saturday morning before 11am. She decided that the only compensation I could receive was that they would pay for the installation and just "MAYBE" throw in the new hose connections. She said she could not offer me any further compensation as I had not let the CAS salesman know of our "special request or situation" that I should have taken pictures or measurements of the passing delivery area before my purchase. So in other words this is my fault. BUT I DID let him know where it was to be delivered, why was I not asked further about the passageway. This a specialty appliance store, and I would have expected these kinds of discussions initiated by an experienced and knowledgeable sales staff. Your CAS rep at ext 655, not only repeatedly told me that I was to blame, she told me not to yell at her while she was so rudely was talking over me loudly, and not giving me a chance to explain to why I felt her offer was still unacceptable. She also told me that her resolution above is the only option that I had. I was so frustrated at the manner in which she talked to me by the end of the call, that I asked her about a refund. I was told to file a written complaint on your website, and sarcastically thanked her for her fine service, and she ended the call. I can't tell you enough that this whole situation is very upsetting and that I don't wish to do business with CAS and will communicate this to as many of my friends and family as possible on my experience. IT DOES NOT END HERE. It is after a few more call exchanges it is STILL sitting in my garage. It will will be delivered or so I am told yet again on June 24th. THEY CANCELLED MY DELIVERY 3 TIMES NOW, with their explanation there has been an internal error. NOTE: To move forward with the unit pick up and my refund there is also a restocking fee and second delivery charge that HAS to be agreed to in order to proceed with my refund request. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THEM NOW $750. I cannot begin to explain how outraged I am. I have a family 4 with an infant where laundry is a necessity and we have had to do without the use of an in home laundry system for well over 5 weeks now. And carrying an infant to a laundry mat is excurriatingly painful. WORD OF ADVICE: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS RETAILER. The price might be good but you will SAVE yourself time and aggegrevation flow few more dollars.

    After Sales Support

I recently bought 4 appliances and spent over $6,500, If your looking for pricing CAS is the place, if you are looking for customer support stay away. Was missing 4 screws on Fridge and waited 3 weeks before being told I should go buy them myself. Very frustrating experience....

They care more about the sale than customer service

Extremely disappointed in the service received from CAS. Do not purchase from them. Purchased a wine fridge prior to the close of my new build. I purchased it about a month prior to moving. The rep asked me the width of the fridge and told her 24 inches. When I went to install the fridge, it was too tall to fit under the counter and found out that wine fridges differ in height. I called to explain the situation and they indicated I had to fill out a form online and the returns department was separate than the store. After I submitted the form (and also agreeing to a 25 percent restocking fee and message that I would still buy another fridge from them) they denied my return. They said that I had it for a month and was responsible for ensuring proper measurements and the invoices I signed said all sales were final. At no time when I was reviewing the wine fridge selection with the service customer representative did they ask me the height that I was looking for. They asked for the width only. At no time did anyone advise me that all sales were final. It's in an extremely small font on the invoice and I was not asked to read the terms but to simply sign it.

    Damaged Goods

Goods arrived and were unpacked weeks later to discover a damaged fridge. The company was rude/hostile in their refusal to replace. Pathetic service. I emailed the company several times and was blown away by how rude they were. CA is sweet when you are purchasing, but heaven forbid that you need to return something. Absolute garbage company......stay clear.

    stove purchase

The store that has no clue in customer service at all. They are good at selling, they will sell you anything. But if your item breaks a week after delivery, the only response you will get from the store is: we already got your money, you're on your own now. No such thing as helping you to solve a problem, to reimburse or exchange. So keep away from the store if you value your money.

    Bought hood insert

This is absolutely the worst service I ever received in my life. It took 3 days for them the make a decision whether I could return this hood insert for a refund or not. Customer service agents are rude and unprofessional. I would neverrrrrrrrrrrrr shop at CAS again and I will definitely be telling all my family and friends about my experience. Let’s see they told me 5-7 days for a refund on my credit card. Today is day 5 so let’s see. I let u guys know if I get this refund by day 7.

    Worst customer service experience EVER

We were drawn to CAS because of an advertised price on an open box unit at the Stoney Creek location. We purchased our range on March 20th, 2019. Here we are, April 27 and still have no ETA. They "fabricated the truth" (not allowed to say Li*d?) to our face and told us they had already sold the open box unit. Come to find out today, that we would in fact be the first one to receive this range in Canada. When I reminded them that they had already sold the one they had, they started back pedaling. Our choices today were:. Upgrade to the stainless steel version at an additional $400 (hmmmmm....Bait and Switch?), Wait until possibly mid-June for our order, or cancel. At no point in time was I able to speak with a manager even though I asked on many occasions over the last month. This company is an absolute joke.
