Review from lingster Review left on 27 Sep 2018Rating: 5 out of 5I bought washer and deyer from the Canadian appliances. I found their prices very competitive, and I am impressed by their services. Kelly provided excellent advice on the products, and their delivery staff were very professional. They installed my appliances and removed my old washer and dryer at minimum costs. Thank you for the excellent job done!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner
Review left on 26 Sep 2018Rating: 0 out of 5Response great until they have your money
***BUYER BEWARE *** Purchased $18,000 dollars worth of appliances from their Whitby store as we were doing a complete kitchen renovation. Appliance were delivered but sat in their original packaging until required by the contractor (approximately a week after delivery). When the fridge was unwrapped there was a sizeable dent in the front door panel. We have been fighting with the Whitby store as well as their head office to get it fixed for almost 2 months now. It has gotten to the point where they just ignore emails and phone calls.Answer from pro:
Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that your fridge has a dent. Unfortunately, there are times where concealed damage will be present and not noticed until the box is opened. We do ask that you inspect all of your items upon delivery as well as open everything within 48 hours of receipt to check for damages. After that time you do need to contact the manufacturer. Please know that we have reached out to the manufacturer to see if there is anything that can be done to rectify your situation. We hope to hear from them shortly and will advise you. Regards, CAS

Review left on 26 Sep 2018Rating: 4 out of 5Great Selection, Great Prices, Average aftercare service
Recently our washer broke down and with it being 11 years old we decided against putting more money into it's repair and we started looking at a new Washer and Dryer set. I spent a fair bit of time searching to see who had the best prices, amount in-stock and selection and very early on in my search found myself comparing all the different website back to Canadian Appliance Source (CAS). From there I connected with Muzamel via CAS' online chat program and he was able to very quickly help me narrow down my search to two different Washer/Dryer sets and after a bit more research it was clear that CAS had the best prices around in town. They were also willing to negotiate on things like removal of my old set, next day delivery at regular delivery price and the extended warranty. From purchasing perspective I give them a 5/5 and it was extremely pleasant dealing with the same person from start to finish was extremely helpful. Everything was delivered and installed in an efficient professional manner. The only reason I will not give CAS a 5/5 overall on this review is because our Dryer unfortunately arrived dead on arrival even though it was new out of the box. We are currently in the process of dealing with SAMSUNG to fix the dryer and my wife and were disappointed that CAS would not accommodate/offer to replaced the dryer with another one and deal with SAMSUNG themselves regarding our defective new dryer. SAMSUNG was prompt in sending someone out to us but when I spoke with Muzamel he told me that CAS expected us to go through SAMSUNG to get the NEW dryer working as year 1 is a Manufacturer's warranty. Both my wife and I feel we should have been offered a replacement dryer at no charged considering the dryer we got was dead right of out the box. So definitely by from CAS because there selection and prices are great but they are like any other merchant out there in that bend the rules to sell you a product but then are sticklers for the technicalities once a purchase has been made. We hope to have the dryer working soon and are very much looking forward to doing laundry in our new SAMSUNG set.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Review left on 25 Sep 2018Rating: 1 out of 5No After Sales service - Warranty
I purchased the extended warranty that CAS recommend. After 1 year fridge stopped working. I called the warranty company to start a service request. I was told they would call me back. I waited 2 days and called again and was promised a technician would call me in 24 hours. Fast forward 5 days later still no call. I called the warranty provider P3 again and they advise that an appointment was book for the this coming Wednesday. I asked how they booked and appointment when they still have not contacted me. I advised I was working that day. So they said next available appointment would be the next Tuesday, 16 days after I requested the warranty work. I called CAS and spoke to my sales rep David Dandar who was going to escalate to the warranty provider (P3 Regional Manager). David never bothered to call me with any updates. I called and emailed several times only to be told after a week that the warranty company never returned his calls. David escalated to the CAS regional Manager Carlo Baes and its been 5 days now and no a call back. Once CAS has your money dont expect them to help you. Zero after sales services. I called Samsung Directly who walked me through a very easy process to reset the module on the fridge and its been working since. BBB has a warning on there website advising consumers that CAS has many complaints and to be warned. Canadian Appliance Source is no longer an Accredited company as per BBB. They have decent prices to lure you in, just dont expect anything to help you after the money leaves you account.Answer from pro:
Thank you for your review. My apologies for the delays you experienced in receiving a response from the extended warranty company W3 Solutions. We have reached out to our Account Manager at W3 to voice your concern and you should be contacted very shortly if not already. Please note that accreditation with BBB consists of paying an annual fee. The only reason we are not accredited is that we have decided to not sign up with BBB. Again my apologies for the delay from W3. Regards, CAS

Review left on 24 Sep 2018Rating: 1 out of 5Frustrating experience
Sales person was good. Paid to have range & otr microwave delivered. Apparently the delivery guys did me a “huge favour” by moving the old stove out and unplugging it and plugging the new stove in and moving it into position. It took 2 men to do this, I would not have been able to do it on my own. I waited 2.5 days before I got a call from yet a different company to book the installation of the otr microwave. Currently waiting for tech to arrive. Paid for extended warranty, but contact info for potential service calls not shown on invoice. Sales person said this would be provided upon delivery. Nothing received. Tried calling customer service, no one available, left a message and hope to get a call back in 48 hours. So now I don’t even feel confident that my appliances have been registered with the third party EWP provider.....and for this I paid over $200?! I am very disappointed with CAS’ customer service, all they seem to care about is making the sale.Answer from pro:
Thank you for your review. My apologies for any miscommunication with regard to your extended warranty. Please note that your extended warranty gets registered with W3 solutions approximately 6 weeks after you receive your appliance. W3 solutions will then email you the pertinent information shortly after that. If you do not receive an email from them within 2 months, please contact CAS Customer Care and we will be able to provide your registration number. Again my apologies for any confusion. REgards, CAS
