After spending over $15,000 at this business I am unsatisfied with the service I have received. CAS offers competitive pricing that we were very happy with, however, it is poor customer service and untrained staff that destroys its reputation with myself, my friends and family.
Our sales representative, Natasha- from the Stoney creek location, gave us the wrong product after explicitly stating we what we wanted. She was not knowledgeable about certain products and unfortunate we suffered from it. She conned us into buying a more expensive version of the product we wanted and purchasing an additional kit (stating it had to be purchased to have the piece for the product we wanted) To our disappointment, both the product and kit came, and it was not what we requested. Had their staff listen, asked questions when they didn’t know or have been trained and educated on their products, we would have received the product we wanted
Moreover, when trying to resolve the issue, she put be directly into contact with customer care, and would not take responsibility for her actions. At that point the sale was done, she made her commission. Very disappointing!
Following this, I spoke to 3 agents in customer care,and unfortunately, they too are very uneducated and not trained to satisfy their customers. They were not understanding of the issue (which is customer care 101) and they sent me in many other directions to avoid having to do any work to resolve the issue.
There is a happy ending to this story but my entire experience was ruined and I will never be ordering from this company again. Finally, when I had given up all hope, I was contacted by Summer- in customer care. She understood my frustrations and didn’t understand why no one had helped to resolve this issue. She was able to switch out the product to the one I wanted and had it delivered 2 days later! A very easy and quick fix! She needs a gold star for saving the day. In the end of the day, you just want people to do their job correctly. If you are a sales rep – sell me the best product for the best price and offer me a deal. If you are in customer care, CARE about the customer and their problem.
In summary, Canadian appliance source does have great prices, however their areas of improvement would be 1. To train and educate their staff more efficiently to ensure the customer is getting exactly what they want. 2. Retrain all customer care to actually CARE about the issue and do their best to resolve it. 2 Wait until all products are in to schedule delivery to avoid customers having to take extra time off work and schedule to be at the home.
