    Damaged Bosch Dishwasher

    Paid installer to pick up and install Bosch dishwasher. Door would not close as frame is bent at hinge. Customer service hangs up on me by transferring me to a recording that explains a 2 day process to go thru to see if I might be eligible to exchange the dishwasher. Manager has not called me back. I can't use my sink

    Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you received a damaged/defective dishwasher. Unfortunately, the damage was concealed and was not easily identifiable. All items are received from the manufacturer and remain unopened until the customer has possession. Our notes indicate that you and your contractor picked up the dishwasher on March 7 evening at approximately 5:45 pm. The damage was not noticed until after your contractor had installed the unit. Canadian Appliance Source(CAS) was notified the morning of March 8 of the damage and worked as quickly as possible to resolve the situation. Our returns department has a process that we must follow and once the return/exchange department had all necessary information, they were able to approve an exchange on your damaged unit. You were notified of the approval approximately 3 hours after your initial call to CAS this morning. While we certainly understand the inconvenience you have experienced here we feel that your situation was resolved in a very timely and positive manner. We are confident that your replacement unit will meet your needs and we hope to see you back at CAS in the future.

    First DW and dryer replacement

    Roger Malcolm helped me in the best possible way: he understood that pushing me will not close the deal sooner - on the contrary. While helping other customers, he always had an eye on me noticing when I have more questions. Most of it, he answered knowledgeably. As for the delivery... I was not so happy. I wish I have had a time frame provided to me respected. Excuses do not cut it.

    FRAUDULENT AND UNETHICAL

    BUYER BEWARE! Read the BBB complaints, please! Never in my life have I been treated with such awful service. We purchased $10,000 IN FULL CASH worth of appliances and they sent a black fridge when we ordered a stainless steel fridge to match all other appliances. We called them immediately on the day of delivery to say it was the wrong fridge and we needed an exchange for stainless steel, every other company would have no problems in doing this. Their “returns” department denied the EXCHANGE and now we are stuck with a black $3,000 fridge and have to buy another one elsewhere! I can’t believe this place is still in business! We have been in touch with CTV so they will be exposed on a national level for their disgrace! We will get our Justice not just for ourselves but for the thousands of customers they have done this to! I’m utterly disgusted by their lack of customer care! See the attached For he fridge we thought we were getting and the one that arrived at our door! I understand the panels do not come with the fridge, we had our cabinet maker custom build ours.

    Thank you for taking the time to provide your review. Your return request form stated the reason you wanted to exchange the item was that you "thought product was built-in, flush mount fridge." Our records indicate that during the purchasing process, when the salesperson advised you of the price range for a built-in fridge you advised that you didn't want to go that direction and decided on a stainless steel counter depth KitchenAid model. The salesperson then showed you the "panel-ready" counter depth option of the same KitchenAid fridge where you have the option to install custom panels on the front that blend in with your cabinetry. The specifications for all of your appliances including both the stainless steel fridge and panel ready fridge were provided to you. You returned at a later date and finalized your order indicating that you wanted the panel ready option. Regarding the images on our website, as the inside of your fridge is the same as the stainless steel version, generic images from KitchenAid are used to show the inside. Clearly the front panels displayed on these interior images are of a stainless steel fridge, however, as clearly indicated on the site, your model is "panel ready". These images are the exact same images as displayed on the KitchenAid site.     KitchenAid Range

    We had been shopping around for a specific model of a KitchenAid range. When I called Canadian Appliance Source Whitby I spoke to Chantelle who quoted me the most competitive price and confirmed the model was available and I could pickup within 2 days. The range is now unboxed, awaiting to be hooked up. Chantelle was super helpful getting the order placed for us and has followed up very promptly with my questions post pickup. So far so good on this purchase experience! Thanks Chantelle!

    Washing machine

    I shopped 4 major stores and found terrible service and prices. Canadian Appliance price were the best and the service was outstanding right from the first call with Tom who took my order and gave a lot of advice on the washing machine to the delivery with Dave. Within 15 minutes of the order. Canadian appliance called to confirm delivery which was 2 days after I bought it. Then another call from Canadian appliance the next day re confirming the time of delivery. It was a range between 1pm and 5pm the next day. You can go online to follow the delivery truck to see where he is. Then I got another call from Canadian appliance telling me the delivery truck will be at my house within the hour, they just finished the delivery they were on. When they came, Dave had our old washing machine out and new one installed without a problem. I will only by from Canadian Appliance. Make sure you ask for TOM.

    Worst consumer experience ever

    Warning: They made up order’s which never exists, and they even want to charge you 25% of your deposit, they sent you so called “refund” form before you get an invoice and order number! Nonsenses! Never ever deal with company.

    Fridge

    Quick, excellent service from Imran. Message was left and a prompt return phone call was received and a quick transaction was completed without any pressure to purchase a more expensive unit.

    Excellent Service at CAS

    Roger and Gladwin provided us with excellent customer service when we purchased our dishwasher, stove, fridge and microwave. They gave us the best deal possible and went above and beyond to explain which appliances were best. Thank you both for your wonderful service. I would highly recommend you to other people.     bought a Bosch dishwasher

    We are very satisfied with Mr. Carm Santino's service. He was very knowledgable in explaining the advantages of one dishwasher over another and he provided courteous service without the high pressure.     Dishwasher purchase

    Don't EVER buy from here! We have never written a negative review but feel compelled to warn people to stay away from this place and avoid having to go through what we have had to deal with, ongoing for 6 weeks now. We bought a Bosch $1,500 dishwasher from Canadian Appliance at the end of January 2018. It had to be picked up. Once unpacked at home a major dent on the interior of the unit made it inoperable. We called right away, and followed up with pictures of the damage via email. We were repeatedly passed onto non-responsive company representatives who then pushed us onto Bosch saying 'only a Bosch technician could come take a look and determine next steps'. Appointments for this were booking 4 weeks out! Here we are 4+ weeks later, a technician finally appeared last week and determined in 30 seconds that it was shipment damage and needed to be replaced. We waited over 4 weeks for this assessment which we had provided the day we got the unit. Bosch said the 'retailer' had to take action, Canadian Appliance said Bosch was responsible. That was over a week ago now, and we are IN WEEK 6 with a very expensive, damaged dishwasher sitting in our kitchen, and Canadian Appliance not taking any action to make it right. We plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau and cannot recommend strongly enough that you STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

    Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your dishwasher was damaged. Please know that we only sell new appliances and as such do not have the ability to perform repairs or provide replacement parts. The first year you have the appliance it is under warranty from the manufacturer and as such, any issue with the appliance is their responsibility. As you had installed the dishwasher and that the damage was inside the unit, Bosch would be responsible and would need to send a technician to assess your appliance. We have reached out to Bosch to request an update regarding your order.
