    5 Appliances Delviery for New Home

    Ordered appliance on Jul 31 for delivery on Sep 9 and paid deposit. I was advised that a week before the delivery I will be contacted for full payment before the delivery and schedule delivery time. Around the week of Aug 15 I got a call from them asking when I would want the delivery which was surprising because I had already asked for Sep 9 anyways but I confirmed again. After that I had no calls received. On Aug 31st I called them myself to make the final payment and get confirmation on order status, only then I was informed that they are missing one of the appliances in stock so won't be delivered on Sep 09 and had no idea when the appliances would be delivered but they will call and confirm. Since I was getting my house on Sep 07 I did not followed on that week but no update was received from them. On Sep 11, I called in again spoke with someone named Ingrid and was told there are now 2 appliances not in stock with no additional update, great. Then called in my Sales rep Mike who advised that he would contact me an update. Got a call back from Mike who asked for an extension until Sep 16. On Sep 16 I got a call from them saying the appliances are in but won't schedule delivery unless full payment is made, so right on that call made the payment and the earliest delivery date they could get was Sep 20. Now the delivery saga, the guys booked the time to deliver between 12:30 to 4:30 and they showed up at 4:30. During my order I was very clear that my kitchen is located on first there is one stairs that needs to be put in and the rep assured that they put the appliances where i would want them to. After bringing all the appliances on the first including my washer and drier, the guys refused to bring in the appliances stating that they need 3 guys to do it and they are only 2 of them so would need to be rescheduled and I need to talk to CAS, left the fridge in the garage. I called right away and spoke to delivery manager named Scott, who advised that he would need pictures from his team to decide on how may people are needed, so to expedite the process I took the pics and send him myself right away. I spoke to him today again Sep 21 and now I am being advised because they did not anticipate the stairs I have to pay additional delivery charges, weird, so spoke to my rep again because I was very clear to him where the appliances need to be put, he agreed with me and asked me to call the customer service, and after put on hold by customer service I was advised the same thing and said they are only responsible for ground delivery, which was very upsetting to hear. I called my rep again and he does not know now what else he can do for me. He connected me to the customer service manager named Katilyn who I left a message to get back to me, have not heard anything yet. So right now I am stuck in a position where despite placing the order on Jul 21 for Sep 09 delivery I only got my appliances on Sep 20 "due to them being out stock", because of this I cannot move in to my new place and report any defects to the builder as I am losing out on the 30 day warranty period. Not sure the apparent discount they offered me on the pricing was really worth it.

    Terrible customer service

    Excellent sales staff. Horrible customer service reps. They have so much attitude and are very unprofessional. When I asked for an invoice she said I was "ducking rude" and hung up on me. That is atrocious. And she really needs to learn how to speak to people.

    Great Service, Great Prices

    After shopping around for appliances at multiple outlets (Sears, Corbeil, Costco etc.) my last stop was at CAS. This was the one outlet that provided me with honest, friendly and non-aggressive service. Jamie Malamud, our salesperson, was professional in every way possible, knowledgeable on his product base, not pushy and focused in on our needs, not on selling us the highest priced items. I would recommend CAS and more specifically, Jamie Malamud if your looking to get good quality products at fair prices.

    Gas range purchase

    Purchased a gas range online & was told it wasn't in stock. Waited a week for it to be ordered. The range came in September 1st. I don't hear anything from the company until September 12th when the left a message on my home phone rather than my specified cell phone. In the interim I had spoken to an employee on sept 8th who advised that the range was in stock and would be sent out the following week. When I finally got my message (due to the fact the used the incorrect contact number) it was September 22 and now I'm being told it will be another 2 weeks for delivery. In total I will have waited 6 weeks for this appliance. I told them I was unsatisfied with this and they basically told me they didn't care. They refused to cover the cost of shipping, give me a discount or even a credit towards another appliance. Their "customer service manager" was aggressive and rude abs hung up on me when I asked why they claim to care about customer satisfaction as their #1 priority. I then tried to cancel the order and was told I'd be charged a 25% restocking fee. I asked them to waive the fee because I didn't change my mind on the product but rather was cancelling due to their customer service policies (or lack thereof). They refused to compensate me in any way despite acknowledging that it was an unreasonable amount of time to wait for an appliance delivery. I will NEVER purchase from this business again nor will I be recommending them to any one. They are incompetent, uncommunicative and unprofessional.

    Kitchen suite plus laundry

    Visited here after my ordeal with another appliance retailer (left them a review as well). Happy to report we were very pleased with our experience with CAS and working with Dave T. We wanted LG appliances with specific models in mind, and our other criteria was they had to be "firm" in-stock. He was able to help us with what we were looking for, and was competitive with pricing. We were extremely pleased with his recommendation of the Bosch 800 series laundry pair, primarily because it only requires one power source instead of two separate outlets like majority of washer/dryers on the market. Our condo previously had a all in one unit that required one 240V outlet so purchasing this set saved us $600 + HST on hiring an electrician to run the separate 120V connection for the washer! Overall, good experience and I recommend specifically speaking to Dave T. We initially were greeted by Abid, however we did not appreciate his "pushy" approach or attitude. Glad we turned around and spoke to Dave when we did or we simply would have walked out One piece of advice about delivery, be sure to let CAS know exactly what is required for delivery because courier is outsourced and they only perform work based on paperwork. In other words, you can't be asking for any favours or additional work when they arrive on-site

    Kitchen Appliances

    I was really impressed with the experience I had with CAS in Otttawa and specifically dealing with Dan. As a single female who owns her own house, it is crazy how much disrespect, pressure and “non-honesty” I get from the sales industry. With Dan, he took the time to answer all my questions, over several visits and he didn’t pressure me into a purchase. I had done my research and had been to see several competitors before walking into CAS and was pleased with the service and price. So much so, that I went ahead and bought two other appliances that I hadn’t planned on purchasing yet as I felt confident in the information as well as the price. He made the whole experience easy!

    Kitchen appliance

    CAS provides excellent customer service. Morgan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in selecting products. It's worth just stepping into the store to speak to staff on recommendations. Extremely impressed with CAS and Morgan's service standards. Will shop here again and recommend to friends and family.

    kitchen reno

    I recently purchased a full kitchen suite with a washer and dryer as well. A.J. provided expert assistance throughout this entire process. He gave me excellent, no-nonsense advice when selecting the appliances and incredible follow-up services when a couple of glitches came up. He truly went above and beyond and has eased a stressful patch of my reno. Invaluable!

    All my house appliances

    On the hunt for all my appliances, CAS was the last store I needed to visit. I was very lucky to be greeted by Louis S. I got more from talking to him for 20 mins than I did searching the Internet for a couple hours. His product knowledge is vast. Buying all the appliances for your house is a big investment and can be very stressful because there is just soo much to consider. Luckily I had Louis walk me through everything from different features and pros and cons to each product. He made it very easy to narrow down what I wanted. I've never been more confident in my purchases and I will definitely recommended him to anyone buying any appliances. Thanks again CAS and Louis. Appreciate all the help!

    Wonderful Service

    We had purchased a new home and needed new appliances - we were looking at Kitchen Aid and Whirlpool and we compared the cost with several companies and Canadian Appliance Source had the best prices. We dealt with Ravi who was friendly and professional and was able to answer all our questions on the different products. We were able to adjust our delivery day from our original date - the delivery guys were very courteous and put the appliances where they needed to be and removed any packaging. I had read several reviews on the company and was a little hesitant as part of their policy does not include adjusting the price after the sale if prices go down - I constantly compared the prices to other companies and still got the best deal. Thank you Ravi for all your help, we love our new appliances!
