    Purchase Fridge

    I paid $1,580.96 deposit for an LG fridge on May 26, 2014 in store with the sales rep Abid. I received email notified us the fridge has in stock and ask us to schedule for delivery. When we submit the schedule, the order status notified us there no longer stock and the next ETA was July 1, 2014. We called back on July 2, 2014 and we were told that the ETA has been push back to July 31, 2014. This is not acceptable for us and we requested cancel the order on July 16, 2014. As of today, we still not received our refund.

    Maytag Washer & Dryer

    In April 2014, I ordered a Maytag washer and dryer to be delivered in June 2014. Canadian Appliance Source called me and confirmed delivery the week before. On the scheduled delivery day, I called to ask why I wasn't contacted for delivery. They said there was a delay and I wouldn't receive my dryer for a couple of weeks. When the two delivery men delivered my washer, they complained about my second floor laundry room and asked for a tip. Most new houses have a second floor laundry room and I had advised them of mine. Then they scraped the side of my washer while carrying it up the stairs and the scrape is clearly visible. I've called multiple times about the dryer and every time I call, they say it'll be a couple more weeks. We ended up not having any dryer for 3 months and it was a nightmare.

    Washer & Dryer white glove delivery and install

    Got bad advice from senior sales based on dimensions I gave him. Had wanted 24" but he said 24 was a waste of money and 27" would be better. Delivery was abrasive and complained the whole time. Units ended up sticking out more than previous by 4-5". When called to see if anything could be done (also buying another pair), they couldn't do anything because it was already installed. Will not be back and will tell all my friends and colleagues.

    Washer Dryer Pair

    Prices are low but you might try using the price match guarantee with another company. I made an online purchase, and then received a confirmation email. At the bottom of the email it states that there is a 25% restocking fee for all cancelled orders, even if they are not delivered. The email also mentioned additional delivery costs if there were any stairs etc. Neither of these conditions were made available before the order was made. When we called about delivery, they said the pair would not be available for a month. This was too long for us, and we asked to cancel our order. They attempted to scare us with the 25% cancellation fee but we pushed back and they backed down...as they should since this is an illegal bargaining tool. I might have purchased another pair rather than ask for cancellation, but I was offended the conditions imposed after the purchase.

    House renovation

    I got scratched dented appliances after arriving a week late. Then the delivery men were afraid of loosing their job as it was taking time to get 5 appliances in the door way. Then to top it off they add a 6 inc scratch to my new tiger wood floors.. And will not get back to me to cover the cost to repair.... Waiting on Gill to call me!!!!!

    Laundry pair

    I just went to this store because a friend recommended and it was close to home. The actual store is nice and they have an online store too. But the salespeople were.... indifferent as far as I could tell. It took them quite a while to come and say hello, and after chatting with one for a while I got the sense he really didn't need my business. When I mentioned other competitors he was quick to tell me to go elsewhere to purchase. I wasn't offended but certainly not enamoured by his salesmanship. Anyways I ordered my laundry pair, but a week late (judging by other reviews, this seems relatively normal). Meh.... I got my stuff but I don't love or hate this store as it was just an emotionless transaction.......I was hoping to at least "like" them though.... but maybe in this day and age it that kind of customer service doesn't exist

    Kitchen Appliance

    Went to Canadian Appliance Source to pick up a new range hood. While we were there, we thought we would check out the dishwashers. We already knew which dishwasher we wanted. Sales representative Adib Narang gave us a price for the dishwasher we found very reasonable for the brand. He was also knowledgeable about the different model features. Placing the order with Adib was very quick and we were able to take the dishwasher home with us immediately. The whole process took about 15 minutes. I would definitely go back to Canadian Appliance Source and use Adib again. The prices are definitely better than Sears and other online retailers, and they have a bigger selection. It took a week and half for the the range hood to arrive; the dishwasher was in stock; warehouse guys were friendly and helped load up the car with appliances. Ordering and pickup quick and easy and no delays. So for now I have to give them a 10.

    Washer/Dryer Purchase

    I strongly recommend others not to purchase from this store, and to not do business with the woman sales rep at the Mississauga location. I went in last month to purchase the LG washer/dryer on sale. I did my homework ahead of time and on their website mentions delivery in less than a week. I make the purchase off woman sales rep, and verifying the appliances would be in next week. A week later I contact the head office to get an eta on my purchase because I haven't received a call yet. The girl on order desk said the order will be in at the end of the week. I did not hear from them at the end of the week. I call the order desk again and the girl said she would call me back....Never heard back from her. So, the next day I give my sales rep a call to find out whats happening. First, she gave me misinformation and said she never told me the ETA for the appliances would be one week. Second, she said she would find out the status and get back to me. She never did. I am quite annoyed at that moment because I am getting awful customer service and the run around for an order that I prepaid weeks ago. Finally, I get some assistance from a helpful guy on the order desk. He was upfront and said they never should've promised me one week delivery since the LG's are manufactured in Asia. I was appreciative that the guy gave me an honest and helpful answer. So they have my money upfront until my order comes in I don't know when. So, my order finally came in after a month of runaround. Now I have scheduled a delivery appointment two weeks from now. Yesterday I called order desk to ask something about the delivery appointment. I was on hold and no one ever picked up the phone. ALSO, BEWARE EVERYONE. The saleswoman also never told me this - There is a 25% restocking charge on any cancelled orders! BEWARE!!

    APPLIANCE PURCHASE

    An absolute worst experience! Rude, unresponsive customer service. Sayd they'd call me back and I never heard from them. Couldn't care less about my order. The story kept changing every time I called. Delivery guy was obnoxious, while I got charged for GOLD delivery service for a very inflated price. In the end, i did not get my product, nor my money. Still waiting. It is shameful this company calls itself Canadian. What an awful place!!!!

    Canadian Appliance Source: Bosch dishwasher purchase
