    dish washer

    I just purchased a dish washer and received excellent service from Brian Hope. He is very knowledgeable & gave me good advice. I will be referring him to my relatives and a friend of mine who is looking into buying new appliances for her home next year. Very rarely do you find professional Sales reps these days that really know their products. Keep up the good work Brian. Will definitely be doing business with you in the future.

    kitchen gas range

    The salesperson was Preet Sidhu. He gave me a better price than that was quoted on the website. The appliance was delivered within a week on time. The delivery was smooth and successful. Preet also introduced an installer who was very helpful and quick in doing his job. It was a nice experience purchasing from the Mississauga store.

    Kitchen and Laundry Reno

    Great Experience. Our sales person was Preet Sidhu who was was amazingly helpful. We received good prices... quick and fairly reliable delivery and very attentive advice. Preet was available by phone and email when we needed, which when doing a reno is good idea. We bought a number of GE appliances and are very happy with way they work and the styling. I would recommend Canadian Appliances when doing your appliance shopping.

    appliances

    I have mixed feelings about Canadian Appliances store. The one I used was at the Mississauga location and in the beginning when I walked into the store it took me a while to get the service I needed. I found the service non attentive and with an attitude. if you go to that location the only one I can highly recommend is Gladwyn Mackinnon. My order was large, few times we had to change items and Gladwyn was quick to respond, eager to negotiate, gave excellent advices and when my order was mixed and wrong range arrived Gladwyn delivered right range to my door himself! If you decide to go to the store –go to Gladwyn Mackinnon . If something goes wrong (and it can happen!) at least you know that you have someone on your side who can help you to get it right. Thank you, Gladwyn.

    refrigerator

    FIRST, THE BAIT AND SWITCH: purchased a GE fridge from Canadian Appliance in June; received an email a few weeks later from the salesman (Joseph) that the model was discontinued, and they were replacing it with a different model--naturally more expensive. I called and left numerous messages for Joseph as well as sending emails and when he wouldn't respond, I contacted their "customer service". NEXT, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET; After delivery, I tested the fridge and freezer with 4 fridge/freezer thermometers before I would put any food into it. The thermometers indicated that the freezer never reaches the "safe" zone for freezing, ie. less than 0' F (it is always about 10'F in the freezer). They sent a "technician" who did not understand English. I kept explaining that the FREEZER was not cold enough and he kept saying that the FRIDGE is not too cold and there is nothing wrong. It is now November and I am still waiting for Canadian Appliances to either replace the fridge or issue a refund. Still in debates with them and GE to resolve this issue. I will now need to seek recourse through legal action. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE, THEY ARE COMPLETE RUBBISH

    New Range

    Very happy. Seamless order of a new KithenAid double oven range - I knew exactly what I wanted. Excellent price - I can't believe how much I saved. Mike the salesperson at the Mour story needs at least one more word. ississauga location was friendly and very helpful - I had the range delivered within 48 hours or order -thanks Mike. Nathan and Paul, the delivery men, were very efficient, cheerful, polite and on time! I've already recommended this place to people.

    Washer and dryer

    We ordered a GE stacking washer and dryer with the promise of delivery within 8 to 10 days. Six weeks later, unable to get a estimated time of delivery. Customer service was rude and not at all helpful. Had to cancel the order and am waiting on a refund of our deposit. Do not deal with this company!

    Washer Dryer

    I write this review for the greater good of GTA consumers. We bought Samsung Washer/Dryers from their Mississauga store for a good price-deal. The installation team were not thorough to say the least. But Brian, the store manager, was very helpful in making up for his installation team's shortcomings! Came over to our house and got the set-up done himself. Its this attitude of 'CAN Do' that deserving embodies the spirit of CANada Three cheers! Highly recommend!

    Major appliances - fridge, stove, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer

    When another major retailer told us they'd match any price except Canadian Appliance Source we immediately sent them a quote request which came in about $1000 below everyone else including free shipping to our home. I did some research online and told their sales guy I was skeptical because of what I was reading. I was fine telling him that up front and felt like he gave me a fair response and we agreed on a delivery date. Originally one of the appliances was not in stock and I would have to pick that one up separately but by the time delivery happened on the date we had scheduled all five appliances were there. Delivery was during the time window they said, two guys showed up and unboxed appliances and got them in the right place. No issues at all. Price was great, communication was great, got exactly the appliances we were looking for at a great price.

    Refrigerator purchase

    Unbelievable. Purchased a fridge with the help of Angelo. Was totally clear that it needed to have a reversible door. When the fridge arrived the door was opposite to what we needed. Delivery guy hit us up for $50 to change the door (CRA take note: he'd waive the tax if we paid cash!). Of course he discovered -you guessed it- the door can't be switched on this model. So back in comes my old fridge and out goes the new one.... BUT Mr. $50 Cash dents my custom metal front door on the way out! He takes no responsibility --doesn't offer to pay for a repair or anything-- he does take a photo. For his own reference I guess. We do end up keeping the $50 cash. Meanwhile, Angelo is quite apologetic and assures me a new fridge with the correct door swing is on it's way immediately. Now it's 1 1/2 weeks later and I'm wondering where the new fridge is so I call. Angelo doesn't even remember me. And the fridge I need is apparently now back ordered. It will be another two weeks before they have it --and a few more days after that before it can be delivered. Forget it Angelo. I just want the $ back. I'm taking my business back to another store. It's worth the drive.
