Great quality work, on time, and fair priced. Ciao and his team were extremely helpful and attentive. I will definitely use The Home Improvement People again, and would recommend them to anybody.

Elia and Chris were terrific to deal with. Estimate given was very accurate and firm. Elia was the project manager and Chris was the person to do most of the work in our basement. Both were easy to deal with and incredibly reliable. Chris' work was impeccable and he takes great pride in his work. Any requests or changes were made immediately and without a lot of hassle. I really needed a job to be "taken care of" and it was. I would highly recommend Home Improvement People.

We recommend the Home Improvement People very highly. Our initial contact, Ben, gave us detailed suggestions and a firm estimate. Andreina's assistance with visits to showrooms and gentle counsel were greatly appreciated. She replied to every query promptly. Jerry ( and his assistant Max) was fantastic - pleasant, skilled, a pleasure to have in our home. He arrived on our job each day until it was completed and updated us on each step in the process. He left the site tidy each day. We are delighted with our "new" bathroom. Thank-you to a terrific team!

We had an outdated main bathroom and once we realized that the toilet was also leaking into our dining room below, it prompted us to do a full bathroom renovation. We had 4 different contractors come and give us a quote but decided to go with The Home Improvement People, as they had a very straight forward quote which clearly outlined how much everything would cost and if we wanted any extras once the work started, we knew exactly how much more it would be. They gave us a start date but said they may be able to start earlier. They were able to start 2 weeks earlier and finished extremely fast. Originally we were thinking it would take 2 weeks to do (as that is what we were told by all the other contractors for a bathroom renovation), and they were done in 3 days!! They kept a clean work site, worked hard, and were very professional to deal with. About a month after the work was done, we noticed that the powder room toilet (we also replaced the toilet in the powder room) was leaking. We called them on Sunday, they showed up on Monday with apologies, fixed it within 1/2 hour and left. They stand by their work and if there are problems afterwards, they fix it without any hassle!

This the third renno project HIP performed for us. (Main Bathroom. Kitchen and now Master Bathroom). Have been very pleased with all three projects. Done on time as promised, within the budget and importantly of high quality. Jerry who has done both our baths is EXCELLENT!!!! .

This was my first time working with the Home Improvement People. What an amazing team. Elia provided the initial quote and statement of work. Every detail was written in the contract so that there would be no surprises. After signing the contract, I realized there was one item missing which was verbally discussed, but not written down. Elia took full responsibility and made it right. And then there were the actual workers. I can’t say enough about Kris and his team. The workmanship and professionalism of these men were outstanding. I look forward to working with them on our next projects. To be sure, the Home Improvement People are not the cheapest contractors out there. But if you want the piece of mind that the job will be done right, then they are well worth it. A piece of advice for anyone who wants so use their services: know exactly what you want before contacting them. If you need help with design, then hire an interior designer. Be sure to buy all your furniture and accessories beforehand (e.g. vanities, faucets, paints, etc.). You should have all your colour schemes decided beforehand. They provide the builder’s necessities like drywall, primer, floorboards, etc. Once you have a vision of what you want, they will make it happen.

As we were so pleased with a basement renovation done by HIP a few years ago, we contacted them for full reno work on two bathrooms. PM Mike and the team of Harold, Ron and Marco made sure that the work was exceptional, on time and on budget (except for my requested add-ons). We enjoyed the experience with HIP - the team showed up every day, took great care of our home and cleaned up daily. We will use them again and will gladly recommend to friends and family.

We were very happy with all aspects of the service we received from The Home Improvement People. Kris was pleasant and knowledgeable and the work was done well and punctually. We are very satisfied with our new bathroom.

We recently had the home improvement people renovate our basement. Elia our project manager along with his crew were very polite and accommodating. They were very helpful with suggestions and ideas and we now have a place for the kids to destroy lol. Thanks again guys!

I had my bathroom recently renovated and everything was done to my specifications. I was very pleased with the outcome and attention to detail that was provided by this company. For any future projects I plan to use this company again because of their expertise and competitive pricing. Two thumbs up !
