    Electrical work; ceiling lights, outlet installation, main panel surge protector

    Captain Electric was recommended to me. The work done was exceptional. The master electrician, Dave, and his crew were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. I plan on using Captain Electric again in the future. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

    Electrical Service Upgrade

    Enrico and his team came out and upgraded a lot of the service in our home, short of rewiring. Our house is over 60 years old and the electrical service looked never to have been upgraded in all that time. They upgraded the electrical service panel on the side of the house, replaced the clevis, installed new outlets for our stove and dishwasher, replaced our fuse box with a modern breaker panel, installed surge protection, grounded our home at the panel, replaced a number of plugs and light switches. It was a big job that took two days. Throughout, Enrico and his team were professional, arrived early, and worked hard. On his inspection, Enrico even found a false ground wire in one of our bedroom outlets. The work was thorough and we are happy. It has been about 3 months now since Enrico and his team came out and there have been no problems. We highly recommend Captain Electric and will be calling them again in the future.

It is still very common to find older homes with outdated electrical systems. Whereas most homes would have had a roof replaced 3 times, and a furnace and air conditioner 3-4 times during a 60 year period, we often find that the Electrical and Plumbing infra-srtucture are often overlooked.     Electrical work

    Dave came out to our house and he was so professional and accommodating. He really listens to your needs and answers all of your questions. He did a great job and fixed our outlets and switches. He really cares about his work. I would highly recommend this company.

    panel upgrade

    This is the most professional company I have dealt with during my huge home reno. Very organized and very easy to deal with. Their prices are a little on the high end, but like everything, you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend using captain electric.

    electrical repair

    We discovered the insulation on the power lines to our house was cracked and Hydro turned off the power. Dave from Captain Electric came within a couple of hours. He was polite and upfront about everything. He even stayed after the work was done to show Hydro the inspection report so we could get the power back on a Friday afternoon. First rate!

    Knob & Tube replacement

    I contacted Captain Electric to have the wiring in my home updated. Dan performed a comprehensive assessment of the work required and provided a quote. I contacted them a few weeks later to give them the job and the work was booked for the following week. Dan, Ryan, Kevin and Kody arrived on time each day and worked very hard. Dan directed the crew and they worked very diligently, I was very impressed by how well they work together. They left the job site clean at the end of each day and patched all holes (which they kept to a minimum) when they were done. I know that I made the right decision hiring Captain Electric for this job. I am a very satisfied customer and have recommended them to a few friends already. Well done guys!

    Electrical Outlet removal & Smoke Alarm Installation

    Had a very good experience. The staff at Captain Electric has been amazing. Starting with Diane at customer service, and working with Dave, Enrico ,Kevin and Brian. Great attitude, great customer service, professional service associates. I will use this company again and will recommend this company to my family and friends without hesitation.

    porchlight replacement

    The company was very professional. They confirmed the appointment and arrival time the day before and about 20 minutes before the electrician arrived. Enrico was very polite and completely professional. He provided useful advice on the project as well as another one I'm considering. He did a great job, correcting the sloppy work of an electrician from another company. A little expensive but you get what you pay for. Captain Electric will be my go-to company for all electrical matters going forward.

    Tripped Breakers

    Ontario Hydro failure tripped breakers. Called Captain Electric & they were here within the hour. Great service with an extremely knowledgeable electrician. Bought a Whole house Surge Protector on recommendation, good decision.

    Hallway wiring

    Great work and great customer service. Was at my door in the time slot they told me, came in and accessed the issue quickly, and had the repairs done in under an hour. Very helpful in pointing out what the root cause was and how it would be fixed before proceeding.
