    Installation of GFCI receptacle and light fixtures

    Captain Electric provided prompt service, showed up on time, and has a very pleasant staff. They provided me with good, clear explanations of the services. Overall, I found the completed work to be very professional.

    Install new plug for 220v

    Brian and his team came in on an off hours time in order to ensure there would be no interruptions to my customer service. They showed up as scheduled with all the necessary tools to complete the job. They cleaned up after they were done and billed me exactly what we discussed up front for the job. Their work was top quality and efficient. They are someone I would definitely recommend to anyone.

    Cct Problems. Outlets not working

    Dave from Captain Electric promptly and efficiently assisted us with various electrical issues. Outstanding service and fairly priced! Dave was very informative and professional. Thank you Captain Electric! You really provided peace of mind.

    Installation of a 240 volt EV charging station in my garage.

    Today, October 1st, Dan and Kevin, two electricians came from Captain Electric to install a 240 volt charging station in my garage. These gentlemen arrived within the agreed upon time and conducted the installation expediently. They took great care to be neat (in how they ran their cables, wired the panel, and secured the cables) and tidy (in how they swept up after them selves and wore cloth slippers over their shoes each time they entered the house). Dan and Kevin were extremely personable. They answered all my questions, consulted with me as to the best location wires and the charger should go, and even attached a ground wire for me that was left danging by my panel (we think it was left from Bell Canada when the phone lines were put in). The quoted cost is what I am told Captain Electric is charging BOSCH. I am being charged $4260.16 by BOSCH for the labour, materials, permit fee, EVSE Hardware, and tax. This price is eased a little by the Ontario Government's incentive program. I should be getting $1000.00 rebate back from them. Captain Electric is BOSCH's pick for contractor in this area and I was very pleased with their service.

The Level 2 EV charging station that you had installed is the best method for charging an Electric Vehicle. It equates to a faster charge time than plugging into a 120 volt receptacle (and please note: The Ontario Electrical Safety Code requires a 20 amp circuit for people wishing to use a 120 volt receptacle in the garage, so legally they cannot just plug into an existing 15 amp outlet as this represents a fire hazard). ........ Congratulations on joining the green revolution! We are sure you will enjoy the savings on fuel costs, and be happy with a much faster charging time.

    Whole home surge protection

    I called Captain Electric based on the reviews on homestars. I had a couple light switches that I thought were arching, so I had them take a look. Since they were going to be there anyway, I inquired about whole home surge protection, which I had be looking at for a while. Enrico did a excellent job and the whole team was great when scheduling and trying to accommodate my work schedule. If you are looking for a very professional team, I would highly recommend them.

    Installation of multiple T8 fixtures in garage

    This is my first time dealing with Captain Electric and the experience is positive from the person who took the phone call to the completion of the project by Enrico and Kevin. The call taker was very polite and professional. She explained to me clearly during my first call. And she did follow up quickly when I enquired about when the technicans are coming. The technicans, Enrico and Kevin are polite and professional. They arrived at my home within the time frame. They explained the cost clearly at the beginning and have the parts ready to be installed. Initially I was looking for two T8s in my garage but it has ended having a third one in order to illuminate the garage entirely. The quality of the T8 fixtures (wrapped) look great and the craftsmanship of the installation of the required metal junction and the metal conduits are excellent. In particular, they took the time to install the third one to make sure it co-exists with the garage door opener aesthetically. They also relabelled the electric panel to reflect the new light fixtures. They also left a few spare T8 and they did sweep my floor thoroughly after the completion of the project. And a nice thing is they even brought their portable garbage bin and so no mess was left. In summary, they are courteous, patient, meticulous, and respect my home. The work was done professionally and it was explained clearly. Highly recommended.

    Rewiring and fixture installation...

    After calling about 5 different electricians, I decided to have Captain Electric come over to my home for an initial estimation. I was impressed with the polite and professionalism of the office staff over the phone. Two electricians showed up on time and we did a thorough walk-through of my electrical issues and needs. They gave a detailed explanation of the work they can provide and even were able to change my opinion on work I previously wanted (to lower the cost to me:) On the work day, they showed up on time and used shoe covers to protect my wood floors and keep them clean. The work was done efficiently, while cleaning up after themselves and taking the garbage with them! I feel very comfortable that the work is done well, and it is guaranteed by them. Also, the price they quoted is what I paid... so no surprises. If I need work done in the future, I will definitely call again. I learned a lot from them, while watching them and talking about the work they did. I wish all service professionals operated like Captain Electric.

    Electrical Clean Up

    I have a rental property that recently sold and upon a home inspection, it was brought to my attention that some electrical issues needed to be addressed. I contacted Captain Electric and made an appointment. Two men arrived on-time and were extremely professional. A thorough inspection of the areas in question was done and a very reasonable price was quoted to me. They asked me if I would like the work done right then and there. I thought I would have had to take more time off work and schedule another appointment. Both men worked very quick and very hard and the end result was amazing. Thank you so much for your professionalism and hard work. I will use your services again and I will definately refer you to anyone I know who requires any type of electrical work.

    Electrical

    On July 10 of this year, we had Captain Electric come and do some urgent major electrical work in our house which was done professionally, promptly and neatly. Really appreciate the job well done. Kudos to Dan, Kevin, Zack and Dave. Joe & Mary (of Scarborough)

    electrical plug replacement

    as always, captain electric provides quick, professional and thorough service. dan was great -- very pleasant and friendly and really knew his stuff. he even reminded me about a discount coupon i forgot i had, for extra savings! very pleased with captain electric's work, as usual!
