    Lights in backyard, lights in basement

    It was a pleasure to deal with Captain Electric. The company is obviously well run, very service oriented and focused on quality. Enrico and Kevin did various things for us over the course of 2 separate visits. They were very knowledgeable and very professional. Enrico took the time to walk me through the order/billing and the various electrical things that he'd done. I would certainly use them again.

    Installation of Floodlights in Backyard

    Excellent work by Enrico and Kevin in the rewiring and installation of our floodlights. Good choice on the floodlights - the halogen light bulbs provide great illumination. I would highly recommend this company for any electrical work.

    Upgrade to breaker panel; relocation of panel; replacement of hydro meter base

    The team of Enrico, Dave and Kevin were amazing - very efficient, professional and courteous. The work done was very complicated - upgrade from fuse to breaker panel, relocation of breaker panel to outside of bathroom, replacement of the hydro meter base. The team worked tirelessly throughout the day and ensured that the power was restored by late afternoon, which other electrical contractors could not accomplish. Office staff was also very efficient in coordinating the site inspection and scheduling of the work with Toronto Hydro. They made the whole process seamless and less stressful. I would highly recommend this company for any major electrical work.

Electrical Permit, arranging for a disconnect and re-connect the same day with the LDC (Toronto Hydro in your case), being pre-authorized for re-connection with the ESA (Electrical Safety Authority), and of course having the correct manpower to complete the work quickly and efficiently. If a power outage is not planned carefully it can be stressful for the client and the work crew. Our goal is always to have the work planned carefully and the job run smoothly from start to finish.     Power outages, change fuse box

    I cannot say enough positive things about Captain Electric... Terrific service in every aspect of their work and interaction with us. 1) Initial phone contact was with an actual live and polite person, no answering machine. 2) They came 'on time' as they promised to assess the problem and returned the same day to resolve it. 7 hours of work done the same day! 3) They wore shoe covers to avoid tracking dirt through our home, and used drop sheets. 4) They took time to explain the problem in detail, answered all of our questions, and gave us options for the different repairs that were available. There was no pressure and no upsales job. 5) They arranged the details with Hyrdo One to turn off the power and turn it back on, and for the power inspector agency to sign it off at the end of the work. We didn't have to arrange anything. 6) Their work was neat, labelled, and with great care. 7) After the job was done they took the time to explain their repairs and installations in detail. 8) They left our residence without leaving any trace that they were there. No left over packaging, saw dust, or masonary chips. 9) They were most professional, polite, kind and very respectful of our home. 10) It's obvious that they take pride in their profession and business with how they carry out their work and interactions with their customers! These are the 10 reasons why I gave Captain Electric a 10 out of 10. I've dealt with electricians, plummers, gas fitters, and other contractors in the past... Captain Electric surpasses the previous workers in so many ways. Excellent work guys!

    install switch panel & smoke detectors

    The reason my wife and I chose CE was because of the reviews from other customers and also their A+ rating with the BBB. They were professional from our 1st contact to completion of the project. The quoted price was what we paid - no surprises. We will definitely use CE for future work..Our two dogs loved the Tim bits that the technician gave them. They are his friend for life!

    Electrical

    Captain Electric did an amazing job on changing us over from fuses to breakers. Great service, clean work & very professional. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

    Smoke Detectors & Whole Home Surge protection

    I am really very happy with the service I received today. The Captain Electric representative was very helpful and polite. He offered me great advice to further protect my home. The work was done efficiently and quickly. I am also very happy to have received a same day service. The Rep offered me great advice about the power surge protection, which I had not even thought of. Thank you so much for everything.

    Single Circuit Diagnosis & Lighting Repair

    The electrician was knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. As well, I was happy to know that someone properly certified, insured, and bonded, as well as police cleared and drug tested was entering my home. Felt like I was in good hands.

    Replaced GFI outlet

    Definitely would recommend Captain Electric. The guys were fast, polite and explained everything in a way that made things easy to understand and follow. I would use them for sure in the future again. Thanks guys!

    Installment of assorted fixtures

    The team at Captain Electric has done extensive updating of our electrical over the past ten years. I wouldn't consider calling anyone else to work in our home. They are always courteous and professional, on time and explain thoroughly when there are glitches. Usually Brian and/or Dave are the electricians who have come; this last time we met Enrico. He also is excellent to work with. We have never had any problems with the work that has been done. We would recommend them highly to whoever needs a qualified electrician.
