    Light Fixture Installation

    Called Captain Electric because I needed some light fixtures installed in my apartment. They were able to set up an appointment for me the next morning. Enrico and his apprentice Kevin showed up for the appointment in a timely manner and did an excellent job installing the fixtures. Enrico made sure I understood what they were doing, and how they priced the service. Both Enrico and Kevin were very pleasant to deal with and acted in a professional manner. I was satisfied with the work and would definitely use Captain Electric again, and would recommend their services to others.

    garage rewired various smaller jobs

    Dan from Captain Electric was here for 2 visits and we are thrilled with the service we received. We had 3 outlets rewired, a chandelier hung and our entire garage rewired. Oh,and he also replaced our doorbell. Dan was courteous, efficient and very knowledgeble. The technicians are very respectful of your home..........wearing booties and cleaning up. Diane the co-ordinator is also very helpful and informative. Do not hesitate to call Captain Electric for all electrical problems. I am so happy to have found a company to trust for future needs and I will absolutely use them again.

    Insinkerator wiring and Microwave installation

    Captain Electric did an outstanding job explainig their services, experience, etc. and ensured that all wiring was safe and that the microwzve worked properly. They were pleasaant, professional, and efficient, and I will definitely call on them again.

    Installed Surge Proctector on Panel and Rewired Light

    We had Captain Electric come in to wire our Pool Heater and rewire a light. Turns out the pool heater did not need to wired. Sorry Dan. He did rewire the light and installed a surege protector on one of our electrical panels. He also said he would get back to us about a different surger protector for one of our other panels. Dan was very professional from start to finish. He noticed that while installing the surger protect the panel was recently updated but not the ground for the house. He suggested we move the meter outside and update the ground. This became the standard in the '80s. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend this company to others.

    Aluminum Rejuvenation & Fuse Panel to Circuit Breaker Upgrade

    For insurance company reasons an aluminum rejuvenation was required to maintain our coverage. We looked on Homestars for our area and Captain Electric looked to be a great company based on the feedback. We made an appointment and Brian & Kevin came to the house. From minute one we had a good feeling about them and nothing through the process changed that feeling. They are very professional and friendly and do absolutely brilliant work. We decided to get our fuse panel swapped out while we were at it. Before I could ask about surge protection at the panel Brian brought it up. The work was to occur over two days and that is exactly what happened. Brian, Kevin, Dave & the rest of the crew (who we didn’t get to meet) were absolutely great to work with and I couldn’t recommend them enough. Every circuit was mapped out on the new panel and they even reconfigured the pot lights in our basement (split the lights differently on the two switches) at no extra charge. At the end of the job you wouldn’t even have known they’d been there and the place looked like it did (only with better electrical) before they arrived. Thanks Brian, Kevin & Dave.     Replaced arc fault breaker and installed two light fixtures (standard and chandelier)

    Enrico and Kevin were great! Professional, polite, friendly and informative. At the beginning of the appointment Enrico introduced the company and explained how they operate and showed me a clear price list which gave me confidence that they would do a good job.

    failed to turn power on in ensuite bathroom

    dave Wison and Zac Kerr came to our house with-in 2/3 hours of my request.......they had a binder with detailed info about themselves and their company .....questions were answered with great detail........the problem was solved quickly and the price was very fair......I highly recommend this company for anybody with electrical difficulties.....they were efficient and empathetic ......John Cawley , Pickering

    changed the recepticle in the bathroom

    I had a problem with the receptacle in the bathroom.. Called Captain Electric after hours and my phone call was returned with in the 15 min, as promised. I spoke to Enrico who took the time to ease my mind for the evening. With in 12 hours Enrico and Kevin were at my house and the job was done.. Neatly and stress free. They also took the time to explain everything to me... living on my own this is very much appreciated. I want to thank you so much for everything... Enrico and Kevin.. you guys were amazing....

    Electrical work for kitchen renovation

    Contractor bid successful due to knowledge and experience. Scope covered installation & supply of new pot light, installation of five xenon undercabinet light fixtures with wall switch and outlet extenders for new backsplash.

    Helped me with a tripped breaker over the phone free of charge.

    I called another company and was told they couldn't hep over the phone then I called Captain Electric and spoke to Brian. Brian walked me through resetting my breaker on my fuse box in the basement. His instructions were clear and with his help the problem was solved free of charge. This type of service goes above and beyond what I expected and Captain Electric has gained a lifelong customer! Thanks very much Brian!

Circuit Breakers trip for a reason, and this is something that cannot always be solved over the phone and most often it should not be diagnosed remotely as we did. However - When you described in detail the events leading up to the power outage on that particular circuit, it was clear what had happened, and I was able to talk you through simply resetting the breaker.
