    Poor customer service

    I was quoted a number over the phone and when they arrived it was a different number. I called back and the lady told me that she had quoted me the higher amount when we originally talked. The pest treatment was for Voles. I was told that they put bait down and that would solve the problem. I see no evidence of bait anywhere. I am highly skeptical that this single visit will solve the problem. Overall, not impressed and would not call them again.

    Mice

    Paid in full as soon as they got here(told on phone that's how they operate) he did an expect ion on interior and barely did one on exterior although he wrote down that he expected both. Set 3 cheap 97 cent traps inside my house and forgot to tell me that he set one on the ledge in basement even tho he knows I have a 8 week old kitten. We caught 2 mouses over the weekend so I called him sim Monday - no answer called Tuesday - no answer. Then called the office they Paiged him and he showed up without calling me with a heads up. He set new traps and that was it. I told him where I thought they were getting in but he seemed to be in a rush and I was instructed to call him when traps go off. I called him 2 days later and he showed up to just set new ones. I asked him if this is how they do business. Just come and re set traps and not worrie about where they are getting in he replied with "we do the best we can" what a stupid answer. I was outside later that day and found 2 holes with mouse droppings around them so I called him and told him I found the point of entrance. He came and put poison in the holes and I later boarded the holes up. We haven't had any mice since. They are an absolute WASTE OF MONEY. My advice do NOT PAY UPFRONT. I found the entrance I could of set those cheap traps, they did not do anything but take my money and create a stressful few weeks. On top of all this I called the office to tell them we havnt had any micr for the 7-10 days so does my warranty kick in now? They told me my warranty kicks in the first time I call them! So that was 3 weeks ago, what a joke! Don't use Abell pest control, do your homework and call other companies.

    Mice issue

    I am very dissapointed with the service. I had a mice issue and used them to help, is been 1 month and the mice are still there. I called them only to have the same guy come out to the house to advise that he will be putting a stronger poison and i should wait for a month before calling them again. If the problem continues then he would be back with the strongest poison the company has. No traps was placed upstairs just the main level. Now to make matters worst we have the mice upstairs now. I am terrified of mice and thought I was making a right decision by paying to have these problem taken care of and I think I made a huge mistake by choosing this company.

    Knowledgeable and Professional

    Abell office staff was professional and friendly. The in home technician was personable and knowledgeable. He explained the service and pointers on how to reduce spiders and carpenter ants in our home and what happens on next service.

    Contract service didn't deliver

    I purchased an annual residential service package. They did an initial visit/inspection, with regular follow-up included in the contract. I work from home and during the year I don't believe there was a single return visit. Perhaps they did an external inspection of some kind but I doubt it. There was no contact from the company until renewal time. I would not work with them again.

    Worst customer service

    That's it Abell next year I'm going with somebody else your service sucks. My guy who sprayed my house for 2 summer just told me that he's out of commission he hurt himself. That's fine. He gave all my information to the office for fogging my addict for cluster flies. They never bother to call me and this is not the first time that they screw up not return call. Worst service I've ever seen. See ya Abell next summer I'm going with somebody else. FYI I've paid to have my addict fogged part of my plan but I will let it go and never deal with them again thanks but no thanks it's to late now the flies are freezing up there not coming in the house anymore it's useless

    on site pest control

    Don't waste your time or money with this company! They make you sign a contract, then you never hear from them again. No service papers were ever left upon service call. Never knew when traps were inspected or if monthly service call was even made. Called office 5 times to have manager contact me and then was not very helpful.

    Spider sraying

    This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I signed up for the one year program. They sprayed the house in July, and it did not make any difference. They were to come again in August and September and did not. I called three times and was told they were short staffed. Guy came to the door when it was raining said he would come back two days later and didn't. Just saw them spaying the neighbours house, but did not come to ours. Should hire sufficient staff, if you can't handle all of your customers, then you should refund their money. Don't tell the customer you will be there on a specific date and not show up. Terrible service.

    3 Strikes

    Awful experience and first time complaint poster. Abell made it very difficult for us to give them a great recommendation. Our clean, well prepared house was ready for their scheduled appointment and they cancelled 30 minutes ahead of time. They showed up the next day and came with equipment that wouldn't work. They showed up the day after and spent about 50 minutes/1 hour to treat a bed bug issue in our 2 storey house. By "they" I mean 1 guy, an entire house, 50 minutes and they didn't even treat the carpeting which is wall to wall in our house. I was assured by the tech "I'm a professional" so I moved my wife and newborn back into the house after the recommended time. Only to see my wife have about 20-30 bites on her 2 days after and my newborn constantly fussy. Was also promised traps/monitors that were never delivered and the technician seemed reluctant to follow through when asked? I don't believe them anymore at this point. Technician made sure on both occasions they were at my house (once with the broken machine and the other for the rushed job) that they had other appointments to attend... great way to make a customer feel like they are getting a good job. Technician was polite but I'd rather have a jerk who can do a thorough job that gives my family peace of mind. If you're going to cut corners and rush the job at least have the guts to say that I should call someone else for help. This ordeal has already cost well well over 2k at this point. I called another company and told them how Abell handled my situation (full details) and the employee told me that it was a poor service job and that they would gladly send a team to my house at a discounted price. Ps - sorry for any typos, writing this on my cellphone

    Wasp Nest top roof in the soffits - FRANCINE ON COlonnade road extrmely rude and unprofessional

    Had called Abell pest control as we have a wasps nest at the peek of the roof and I suspect they are in the soffits. Apparently removing the small nest opening on the outside and spraying powder was sufficient enough.. Nope! The activity came back I called again as they have the 100 day warranty. No one called me back to follow up took 2 days. finally the tech called back said he would come by at 4pm and would call before never called never showed. So when we called he had said he passed by and no one was home.. 4pm there was definitely a vehicle outside our driveway so yeah we were home. Then the story was he did not have a long enough ladder to do the job and needed to come back in two days with someone else to help...Well he came the first time with a ladder and did what he did. We paid cash and were told they had no record of us paying for the initial service. BS we paid cash and have the paper work to prove it. Now we are told we will have our money returned and we can go elsewhere. Francine on Colonnade Road is extremely rude and unprofessional. Need extermination I suggest you find a more reputable company than this one. Their motto is the company is always right not the paying customer.
