I called Alex and he was very friendly. He explained to me all the options I have and I felt like I can trust him with the recommendations he made. I asked if they can come in 7:30 in the morning and they said no problem. They actually came the next day on time and got the job done in few hours. I am so glad I went with these guys. They are friendly, polite, professional, but most importantly they do an awesome job. Thanks guys!

Alex and his team had to deal with our very old house and same bad wiring performed over the years by previous owners. They did a complete re-wire and came back to fix anything that wasn't just right. Very happy with the job they did. Yes, it was expensive but this was a gut reno and everything needed to get done and done right.

I called MapleLeaf based on their Home Stars reputation and within three days my three small jobs were completed in two hours of on site work. Alex and his team didn't realize that my needs included installing the microwave too. Rather than say they don't do that work, they simply rolled up their sleeves and got the job done. They are amazing and they will be the first people I call this summer for other jobs. Incredible.

Alex and his crew were punctual, arriving early to get in 3 full days of work. After a friendly handshake and introduction they prepared all the work area with drop cloths and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. My 1100 square foot bungalow required about 80% of the house to be rewired, updating plug outlets, wall switches, light fixtures etc. New code requirements were explained at the initial assessment. During the course of the work being done another plug in the basement had to be relocated due to code requirements and a new ground wire had to be installed without extra cost. I appreciated that the crew worked well together with no arguments or fowl language as I was in my home for the entire three days of work. The work was completed without rushing and with an eye to detail and accuracy. Most of the basement ceiling was open but all holes that could not be avoided were nicely patched up. This type of work is unavoidably disruptive to the homeowner but the environment was really stress free the entire time. I felt comfortable asking questions and received good sound answers to my questions. All in all a job well done! I feel I now have an electrical company I can hire for any future electrical needs. An inspection was arranged for the day after the job was completed and that was completed without any issues. If you are looking for an an electrician for the first time you can feel very confident from reading all the reviews about Mapleleaf Electric. I did not concern myself with getting additional quotes. I felt the amount of quality work completed was well priced and I am very satisfied and happy with the completed work.

We needed our electrical service upgraded on our new home as our insurance company was threatening to cancel our insurance unless we upgraded to 100amps. We had a deadline to meet and Alex came same day to give us a quote. He took care of everything with ESA and set a date for less then one week later. Alex and his crew arrived on the coldest day of the year. His crew was outside most of the day working on the side of the house. They were all a pleasure to deal with and most importantly the work was fantastic. I was worried about some of the siding getting ruined, but they really took the time to do a perfect job. We'll be using Alex for anything that we need down the road and would easily recommend his services to anyone.

I called Maple Leaf for a small job--needed a few outdoor light fixtures with motion sensors installed, plus changing some standard light swicthes with dimmers and timers. The guys at Maple Leaf couldn't do it themselves, but called one of their trusted contacts to do the job. These guys were excellent. Called promptly; called to confirm. Came exactly on time. Were very polite, explained things well; kept the house neat. And at the end of the day, they were also very reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to use them again. Wonderful service

I was fortunate enough to have Alex and his crew respond very quickly for the removal of some knob and tube that was unexpectedly discovered during a minor renovation. Everything was handled promptly; response to my initial phone call, inspection of my home, providing a written estimate/quote, booking dates for the job, booking the inspector (for which Alex was present), providing the written certificate of inspection. The quote provided was the final price billed, no surprises, and was very fair/reasonable. The work was done in exactly the amount of time specified. Alex is a skilled problem solver. He is also very careful to minimize the number of holes in walls. He and his crew are genuinely nice people who demonstrated respect and care for both my home and me. They were a great resource of information too. They cleaned up extremely well at the end of each day (I’ve never seen any trades clean so thoroughly!) Alex is patient and explained everything clearly (even when it was necessary to do so more than once). After being very worried about discovering K&T in my home, it was a huge relief to have Alex make the necessary repairs. If you’re looking for a skilled, honest, and knowledgeable electrician, you must contact Mapleleaf. I can’t recommend this company enough. The Homestars ratings are well deserved.

We hired Mapleleaf for a partial upgrade of our electrical service from 60 to 100 Amp. Paul gave us a quote and explained everything we needed to know. He answered all our questions and appeared knowledgeable. Unlike other candidates, they were even willing to do this outside job in the cold of late January. On the day of the upgrade, they showed up on time and finished everything as scheduled. We had no problems leaving them alone in our home for most of the day since we had an important appointment. They cleaned up after themselves before they left and were careful not to let our cat escape when they opened the door. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. Just don't expect them to immediately return your call, since they are a small company and probably don't have a reception or someone who's only answering the calls. We will definitely recommend them to our friends and will certainly call them if we have another electrical job.
