Alex and his crew worked in our house on 2 different occasions - first installing potlights in the hallways and then in the family room. Not only he did an excellent job, but he did it with care for the rest of the house, and left the house clean when they left. The second job he did it so that he accomodated the schedule of the other contractors. He answered all our questions and gave us sound advice. Always returned our calls or e-mails. He is an onest, reliable person and I only wish that I would have only contractors like him ! I will recommend him to all our friends.

Alex and his team were very nice to deal with, always on time, very knowledgeble and at the right price. Outstanding work, and attention to detail. Alex took the time to show me both line and low voltage potlights and explain the pro's and con's of each. He also did some extra work for me, (not included in the quote)with no extra charge. My wife and I are very happy with our potlights and all their electrical work. The electrical inspector told me that Mapleleaf do excellent work and has so much confidence in Alex and his team, he just did a minimal inspection.

Alex and his crew are great to work with. Alex is professional and curtious and honest. Alex really knows/understands proper placement of potlights and it really shows when you see our place. We will use Alex again in the future and I highly recommend him. Tom

I recently purchased another home with the understanding that there was knob and tube, about 70%. The first company we read about on HomeStars was Mapleleaf Electric Inc. and we were impressed at their perfect rating and positive reviews. We thought the reviews sounded too good to be true, especially since we've had a number of installations and repairs done by different contractors on our home since we bought it and have had a problem with each and every one of them. We decided to give them a call and after speaking with the owner Alex, we knew we didn't have to call any other company, even though they say to get at least 3-4 quotes before hiring someone. If there is something I can assure that it was worth to wait. We came to an agreement on price and work was started the next week. The crew of four showed up on a Monday and spent the entire week removing/replacing Alex and his company specializing in potlights, were very skilled and known for running wires throught walls without any holes or damage. This was one of the main reasons we hired Alex, we didn't want damage or mess. And didn't have to hire another tradesman to patch up the holes with drywall & plaster. The rewiring went amazing...everything was done to perfection. Alex and his crew were very professional, they went above and beyond...customer service is truly Alex's number one priority. This has honestly been the best experience with a contractor in my entire life!! This statement seems extreme, but it’s true. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Mapleleaf did an excellent job removing all the knob and tube wiring from my home and then rewired the entire house. Patching the walls where required was expertly done. My basement is wall-to-wall wood paneling (making access to the wires difficult) but Alex and his crew found a way around this problem and left the basement totally undamaged. These men are diligent, polite, and knowledgeable. They are problem-solvers who find a way to "make it work”. During early negotiations, I added extra tasks to my “to-do list”. Alex took this in stride and emailed me a quote, itemized by job and price. It couldn’t have been clearer. I must also add that the final price for the job was identical to the quote given – and the price was very reasonable. I interviewed seven electricians for this job before ultimately choosing Mapleleaf. In a word: superb! I’d recommend Mapleleaf for any electrical job.

Alex and his crew were a great group of guys to deal with. We had 38 older style potlights and drywall boxes removed from the attic, and 38 new quality pot lights in IC boxes installed. They always arrived on time and worked hard from start to finish. Mapleleaf Electric delivered a quality product as promised and addressed any concerns I had right from the start to the end of the project. Alex personally checked over the wiring system in the attic and made sure everything was up to standard. I would highly recommend Mapleleaf Electric to anyone. I will definately be using Mapleleaf again.

I had really bad experience with some electrical companies. Someone recommended me Mapleleaf Electric for my kitchen renovation. I contacted Alex. He was very informative and very knowledgeable and patient with my many questions. He explained every detail of the work he was going to do. I was very impressed with him and I didn't even see his work or meet him. I hired him for my kitchen reno which included 6 potlights, pendant lights, under cabinet lighting,and GFI plug for my island. Alex and his employees showed up on time, I was very moved, His team was also very courteous and respectful. When they were all done (earlier than expected) the work looked breathtaking, and my kitchen looks spectacular. And I am so HAPPY!! Thank you guys and Thank you to my buddy who highly recommended them. Now, I'm going to recommend Mapleleaf Electric Inc. to my friends and family.

We needed to install outdoor potlights in our new home. we looked through Homestars here and read some reviews and was really impressed with Mapleleaf Electric. So we contacted Alex. He was very professional and took his time explaining about potlights and the timer we had him install. We booked him right away. Alex and his crew showed up on time, actually they were 10 minutes early, Now that's professional!!! They went to work right away and answered all my questions. Alex installed 14 outdoor potlights with timer and they were done within 6 hours with no mess! My neighbors were very impressed with the potlights, they spoke to Alex and already scheduled to have potlights done on their homes. Need I say more..???? They are amazing and recommend them and hire them again. Thank you guys!

I recently had installation of my outdoor potlights by Alex and his buddy. Elevation of my house is little difficuilt to reach the top but Alex and his buddy with a great caution did a wonderful job without any mess. It clearly shows Alex is very skilled, perfect and well experienced. I have no hesitation to recommend him. I am also planning to do my indoor potlights and electrical fixturs with him soon.

I chose this company for all the terrific reviews they were getting and I now know why their customers rate them so highly. Alex and his crew arrived on time and got right to work. Alex took some time to explain the lighting configuration that would work in my long, narrow living room. I found them to be friendly, professional, organized, and clean. While at my place Alex got a call regarding the HGTV show "Income Property" (they have been featured on this show before). They wanted him in Toronto that afternoon and I was impressed to hear him say that he was on a job and wasn't going anywhere until it was done. He took his time and the end result was fantastic. I decided to have three more potlights installed...they are coming back tomorrow!
