Landscaping of Front Walkway / Garden
When we went shopping for someone to replace the patio stones in the front and build a bit better garden that what we had, we ended up interviewing 4 people. After the first one, I was getting a bad feeling as there were things he was saying that weren't sitting right with me. Todd from TWG was the second "interview" and he was able to give us a price right away and confirm some things that I already knew from my previous research (filter cloth in the garden a MUST for example). The third person never responded to my inquiry, and the fourth responded after a week or more and basically refused to take on the job as "too small". I asked the first person and Todd to come up with an idea that would fit better within our budget and Todd was the only one that really went above and beyond my expectations!~ When we knew the project was going to be delayed for any reason, he was right there on the phone with us explaining why, and always responded to my nervous phone calls with ease (Tammy too). When the job was done last week, the crew were curteous and and took great pride in their work - always going above and beyond the "call to duty" as the saying goes. When my husband pointed out that they missed something from the design, they were right there fixing it before he even finished speaking. After only three days the job was finished and the end result went above and beyond what even my husband and I had envisioned!~ We will be enjoying the new walkway and garden for many years to come!~ I would have to say definitely that no job is too big or small for Todd and his crew and would recommend them to anyone that asked - believe me, we now have the nicest front on the street and have had many people stop by and asked for the phone number of the person who did all the work.

REMOVAL OF OLD FRONT GARDEN AND REDESIGN, PLANT BUSHES AND RE-EDGE DIRVEWAY
THEY REMOVED OLD LAWN EDGING AND A RAISED GARDEN WALL REDESIGNED IT. PLANTED NEW BUSHES AND GROUND COVER,AND FLOWERS . THE NEIGHBORS ALL AGREE THE FRONT OF MY HOUSE LOOKS FABULOUS.

front walkway and step
I had Todd come by the house to review our third project with his company and I am pleased to report that this was the best one yet. Todd helped with the design and improvement of our front walkway in a very timely manner and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. whenever there has been any issue that needed attending he always made sure to contact me personally and promptly which is always appreciated. Front entrance, interlocking walkway and sides of driveway
Todd and his crew did an amazing job. The entranceway looks 100% different and better than before. Todd's design was more creative than anything I imagined and I love it.

Landscaping design and installation
Todd and his crew installed a walkway and stone steps at my home, plus did some stone work near a side door. The workmanship was top notch. Professional, timely, on budget...the whole works. I can't believe how much care they took in ensuring the two six foot stone steps they installed were perfectly level. It was as if they were working on their own home. All in all a great experience and surprisingly reasonably priced.

Back Yard Landscape Design, Demolish and Remodel
This company was recommended by Hickory Dickory Decks because we wanted an overall landscape design for our back yard, incorporating a cedar gazebo, stone patio and walkway. From the beginning Todd Gould was prompt and professional, offering ideas and showing us pictures. He established an easy rapport with us, was unhurried and we felt very comfortable talking to him about our ideas. He knew his plants, was able to tell us the benefits of one material over another and proposed competitive pricing. The final design showed that he really listened to us and included all that we’d discussed. It was professionally presented and addressed all our concerns. We had several opportunities to meet and make changes and they always responded to our calls and email messages. They also recommended an electrician when we needed one. The crew was friendly and courteous and worked diligently to get the job completed on time. The finished patio is FABULOUS but what impressed us most was the sensitivity of Todd and staff, when, near the end of the project, my mother died unexpectedly. Their thoughtfulness, generousity and respectful behaviour showed us that people come first and ensured that we will forever remember them. We highly recommend them.

Lanscaping - Front and Back
My husband and I decided to take on our first big house project - landscaping! After seeing what felt like every single contractor in Durham region, we kept going back to the first one we saw - TWG Landscaping. Tammy and Todd had given us the best info right from the start - including books with design ideas and different stone choices. Todd and my husband chatted about what would look good and Todd was really good at suggesting things that we would have never thought of. When we decided to go with TWG, Tammy was super fast at returning emails (often within minutes!) and Todd was always a phone call away. As for the work - amazing! Todd and his crew were always early, they worked hard, cleaned up after themselves and were a pleasure to have around. All my neighbours have commented on how amazing our back patio and new front walkway look. Thanks again Todd and Tammy, we will definitely be calling you guys again should we want to do any more work in the future.

Interlock Patio and Front Walkway
Todd and Tammy run a very professional business offering top quality products coupled with expert installation. We were so pleased with their work on our patio that we had them come back a few months later to totally remodel our front walkway. We have recommended TWG to several people we know. We only do that with people and companies we trust. I told Todd that very seldom at the end of a project do I say that it is far better than what I could have hoped for. I told Todd that TWG far exceeded my expectations and I had very high expectations. Would I have TWG do more work for us? Yes, in a heartbeat. Great job Tammy and Todd!

landscaping front yard
i called todd back in 2007 to come give a price and to show him what we wanted, he gave us a strat date ,and was right on the money with the quailty of service you get from twg, tammy was always a phone call away when you had a problem,we got them to come back in again in 2008 to do the back of the house, i would strongly recommend using twg. they are fair priced and give you a sence of mind when you want things done right the first time.way to go todd ,tammy ,and the rest of twg

Front and Backyard Landscaping
Dealing with Todd, Tammy and the whole crew at TWG was always easy. Two summers ago, we installed a pool and wanted interlocking brick and a garden to work around the pool and deck. Todd came prepared with different ideas...wasn't married to his own ideas (an issue with some other contractors) and incorporated everything we were looking for. He told us when he hoped to start and given that landscaping is largely weather-dependent, he was here right on the date. Awesome. Workmanship was A1. The crews were generally here when they said they were going to be and they always cleaned up so it wasn't an issue. We have been very pleased with everything that TWG has done for us. Todd has said that his average client contact is 4 years. He's right. We used TWG in 2007 and 2008 (front yard) and we are having him look at a couple more things this year. Let's hope that's it!!!

Thank you for the review and kind words...Todd works very hard at pleasing every client which is not always the easiest task...i know when he enjoys working for a client, and even the guys say you are easy clients...meaning things are asked of them not barked at them, and they are treated with respect by you...that makes a world of difference since they truly do have a skill that not all can do "properly".
