Great products & service from beginning to end
I was shopping around for a company that would be able to produce the door I loved, replace some windows with condensation issues, and do it all at a great price. Having had 2 other companies come out to quote my front door and windows, my husband and I were most impressed by Michael at Ambia. He was kind enough to come to our home on a holiday and we were very happy with all of the information presented (brochures, actual product samples, and door options) without a huge sales pitch. We later received our quote via email and Ambia's pricing was the most competitive while providing high quality products. My windows and front door were installed and we are incredibly happy with the products and installation. I ordered a taller door to replace my front door with transom and the new door has given my porch some serious curb appeal! In addition to looks, the door also feels really solid and seals well so there are no drafts (a big issue with my old door). George completed the installation (showed up right on time!) and did a great job and was courteous and polite. The day of the installation, Michael called to see how things were going (I missed his call due to being in an appointment) and he followed up with an email as well. I was very impressed with the follow up and great customer service I received throughout the transaction. I will definitely contact Ambia to replace other doors and windows in the future. Without a doubt, I will be recommending Ambia to my friends and family. If you choose Ambia, you won't be disappointed!

Window replacement
As first time home owners we did not have much experience regarding window replacement. We had previously hired a contractor to replace the windows and he was a disaster and he left with lots of damages to our house and unfinished work. Thanks to HomeStars we found Ambia. We are extremely satisfied with their professionalism, quality of work, and costumer services. We had two odd shaped windows and one was particularly challenging to make casings for. Thanks to Michael the coordinator and George our installer the final result is perfect. With their excellent work, Michael and Goerge's team at Ambia have restored our faith in professional service when you find the right one. Thank you so much!

Window replacement
We hired Ambia to replace six 28 year old windows with Vinylbilt windows. Of the contractors we had in to provide quotes, Michael was very knowledgeable, honest and provided the best quote. He was very detailed in explaining the installation process and the options available. Unlike some of the other contractors, he made recommendations based on what made sense economically. 5 of the 6 windows were brick to brick installations with the exception of the bay window. Doing a brick to brick installation would have added a further $1500-2000 to the installation cost (due to rebuilding it) and would most likely take over 20 years to pay itself of in energy savings. The wood frame was still in good shape so they capped it with metal, which looked awesome in the end. Also, the warranty provided is good/transferable (not all companies have a warranty like this). Payment was easy as they accepted both email transfers and cheque. The windows were installed by a two-man crew. They showed up at 8am and were gone shortly before 4pm. George and the other fella were very respectful, professional and got the job done right. We are very pleased with the windows and the installation. The trim we chose is better than the standard and looks great. The rooms are much warmer, there are no more drafts and my wife doesn't have to ask me to open the windows that were seized shut. If I had to do it again, I would go with Ambia again.

New windows
This was the third time we've had windows installed by Ambia - a testimony to our belief in the quality of their product and work. We had five windows done this time (bringing us to eight Ambia windows in the house). Michael was very responsive going back and forth with setting us up with what we were looking for, even going the extra mile and helping to change the order weeks after we'd submitted it. George led the installation, working around the challenge of bars on the basement windows. Once again, we are very happy with how things turned out. The frosting on the bathroom window and the rain pattern on the basement windows looks amazing. There are probably only a few windows left to be replaced. When their turn comes, we'll be calling Ambia once again. The attached pictures don't do the final product justice.

New Front Door
We recently moved into a new house, with a flimsy, drafty old door that was letting in significant noise (busy street). We knew it had to be fixed quickly, and set about our diligence. We spoke to a few other companies, but we decided upon Ambia. They were very helpful during the quoting process with respect to the speed with which they turned it around (we had only found out about Ambia at the last-minute), willingness to explain the logistics & end-product, and price. Tony & Michael were helpful throughout the process, and responsive to questions we had. The installation went very smoothly, and we are very happy with the end product. We appreciated Michael stopping by during the installation process to ensure it ran smoothly. All-in-all, we're very happy with Ambia! Quality product at a reasonable price. If we had one regret, it was that we didn't reach out to them sooner & the manufacturer couldn't make the door more quickly. Our house is significantly less drafty and much less noisy - mission accomplished.

New Windows & Entry Door
It was time to replace our 40 year old windows on our old victorian house in the city. I got quotes from a number of different window companies before making a decision. I was very impressed with the quality, price, and service I received from Ambia. Tony was very helpful, attentive, and patient throughout the process of selecting our new windows. He explained every important detail to us and answered all of my questions promptly and courteously. In addition, I would like to thank Dennis and Abraham for their meticulous work in installing the windows and our new entry door. They are a great team and we are very pleased with the results. Our home is so much warmer now and the windows and door look great! Thank you for a job well done!

New Entry Door/Stormdoor/Sidelight
After unpleasant dealings with two other window/door companies I found Tony @ Ambia! He was a pleasure to deal with, helped us find the perfect solution to our entryway for the right price! He offered many options and helped in pinning down the right one. He expeditiously responded to all phone calls, emails, questions/concerns with professionalism, courtesy, honesty, and guidance. The installation went smoothly and in the timeframe promised. His installer, Dennis, was very patient & precise, and went the extra mile to please us, as did Tony. We HIGHLY recommend Ambia W&D!!

14 window replacement
After much due diligence I chose Ambia over Brock, Dayside, Consumer Choice, Becker, Jensen. I have been dealing with Rick who has been very accommodating and patient while we made up our minds on window options. Final measurement was today which was super quick. I'm under a time crunch with an energy audit and Ambia is working to get them in on time. We can't wait until the final result in February. After install... Ambia installed my windows over three days in March. The work was overall ok. I say ok because one of the guys working on my home who did the inside caulking/sealing butchered the caulking and made a mess of my interior paint. I did complain to the owner and he had the more experienced fellow come out to cut it all of and fix it so good recovery. However the windows are good quality for what I paid and I am noticing a huge difference in the temperature in my house with no drafts. I would use them again if the reviews remained great but I would try to be home to see the finishing work next time as I'm now trying to repair/repaint many of the walls.

Replaced windows and doors
Ambia put in VinylBilt windows and a front door for us - front and back of the house. I did a lot of research and was attracted by the good energy star ratings on these windows. Now that winter is here it makes a HUGE difference. Ambia was timely, professional and patient with all my questions and concerns. Highly recommended.

Replaced Windows and Doors
I would highly recommend Ambia. We worked with Tony who provided us with a great experience and they were very reasonably priced. We moved into a home that was built in the 50's and had not been updated since it was built. We had four doors and about 20 windows to replace, so it was not a small project. He helped us select the windows and doors as well the door paint color to match the rest of the house. He even sent us a sample of what the color would look like on the type of door we were replacing just to be sure. We were going to go with a different color, but went with Tony's advice and we're so happy we did. His installers were great as well.
