Window and doors installation
We decided to change almost all windows in 25 years old house. As this was out first project we were looking for for high quality product with great warranty and for understandable advice regarding design. The guys give us best clear view. We meet with Tony when we almost decided to go with a other company. They estimate together with quality and warranty win so we changed mind with no regrets. The installation itself was clean and smooth. Small fixes (couple screws were lost from French doors ,) wewe done in the couple weeks., Windows and doors look great. Thanks all team for great work!

Windows & Patio doors
We were in the process of renovating our master bathroom when we decided to change the 2 master bath windows, all the windows in the front of our 25 year old home, as well as a patio door. Michael was our salesperson and he was knowledgeable, professional, and was able to give us excellent recommendations on the design of a large curved window above our front entrance. Not only did he give us a detailed, competitive quote (we had 2 other companies quote as well), he offered us a superior product and was extremely accommodating with trying to fit the installation into our renovation timelines. Our Installer, Dennis was clean, courteous, hardworking, and extremely thorough. There was an issue with our bathroom shutters not fitting properly with the installation (which were removed prior to the installers knowledge), and they were so helpful, even sending Dennis back to reinstall the windows to fit the shutters properly. Not only are we finding our new windows beautiful and functional, they have completely helped with our daughters' room temperature (it was always very cold in the fall/winter and hot in the summer). It has only been 1 month and we have noticed a big difference. To top it off, they even fixed a sliding door we had installed through another company 3 years ago that we were not happy with; since it was installed, the door has been very difficult to open and often got jammed or stuck. Although this was not their work or product, they were kind enough to arrange for Dennis to make some adjustments (which the original company refused to fix), and now the door is working better than it ever has! Thank you Michael, Dennis, and the rest of the Ambia team for your great customer service and fantastic products. We will be back to complete the rest of the windows in our house soon!

Windows and Entry Door Replacement
I had windows and doors that are 30 years old, and i decided that i had to change them this year. I got a couple quotes from several contractors, among all of them, I picked Ambia. Because Michael from Ambia gave me the best impression, he was very patient in answering every single one of my questions. Because of my work schedule, we have always communicated via emails, he always responded in a timely manner. He did manage my expectation about how long the entire installation will take, and he gave me enough advanced notice so that i can make myself available at home to wait for the measurement, and the installation to be completed. the installers were very professional, and was detail oriented. I ordered 3 giant windows and 1 entry door, they all fit perfectly! All were installed within a day, and they cleaned up after the work was done. It was definitely a great experience! I have already recommended Ambia to my neighbors, and friends, and i would recommend them to anyone who wants a worry-free windows&doors installation experience.

Windows replacement and exterior shutters
Tony spent a great deal of time with us providing insight to the process and the products, explaining the differences between systems, mounting options and configurations - he even brought an actual window so that we could play with the mechanisms. He displayed professionalism, and pride in his products and his company. The installers arrived on time, were professional and delivered on the design. When I raised a concern about the slope of the shutters that he was also installing along the front, he patiently explained the approach and made sure that I was satisfied. I would definitely recommend Ambia Windows for your windows replacement.

Window repair - warranty
I recently had a warranty claim on one of my window. While cleaning, a part had snapped off my double hung window and needed to be replaced. The windows were three years old and still under a five year warranty. I was worried I needed the whole window replaced but when I contacted the owner - Tony at Ambiance he was so helpful in the drill down to the real problem and assured me that only a replacement part was required and repair would be simple requiring only a screwdriver. A week later, I was pleasantly surprised when Tony personally dropped the part off instead of mailing it. That is great service - even after three years of installation! I replaced the window with the new part in half an hour! Thank you Tony, I would definitely be a repeat customer and recommend you and your company to family and friends in the future! Window Replacement
We had very old windows in our century home that desperately needed replacing. We met with representatives from 3 different companies and decided on Ambia to do the job for 3 reasons: the price was reasonable, the windows themselves were attractive and well-made with all necessary quality control assurances (Energy Star etc.), and the warranty was excellent and transferrable. Michael from the sales team came to our home and took time and care in answering all of our questions patiently and thoroughly and sent us a quote promptly. He then arranged for us to meet with Brian from the window manufacturer who also took a great deal of time and care with us. Neither of them tried to up-sell us on extra features or pressure us in any way. The price was less than we had expected so we ended up replacing 10 windows in our house altogether, more than we had originally planned. George who came to do the work was kind and worked almost non-stop to get the job done in 1.5 days including one window in the basement that we had previously been told could not be replaced. This was 6 months ago and we couldn't be happier with the results. The change to the look of the home is phenomenal and it is so much better insulated and comfortable inside. I would recommend Ambia to anyone without hesitation. We are so happy with this investment made in our home.

Front Door, Patio Door and decorative shutters
I recently got my front door, patio door and decorative shutters installed by Ambia Windows. I am very thankful for their excellent work and customer service. I only wish all companies were like Ambia, taking pride in their work and respecting the customers big and small. They are excellent in all aspects: -Customer Service, always returning my calls by phone and email -Timing (Tony was clear up front of the weeks i had to wait for the installation and I was happy to wait for a good work done), -Fair price -Quality of products -Installation (flawless) -Leaving the house clean after installation -Professionalism and reliability I have received many compliments from my neighbors and will definitely recommend Ambia to friends and family. Thank you so much Ambia !

Windows Replacement
After getting estimates from several companies for the job (retrofit of 7 windows with new vinyl windows), we decided to go with Ambia Windows&Doors, and no regret on this decision. The Tony (their sales representative) was very helpful in all aspects: provided an estimate short time after he acquired the information needed, maintained permanent communications with us answering every email/phone call that we made to discuss details in the project (e.g. windows characteristics, status of the order, schedule, etc.), he even arrange a meeting with the manufacturer to discuss their windows products. Excellent job! The installer (Dennis) did also an excellent job, he worked quickly and efficiently with extreme attention to details. He also responded to every question/request that we had regarding details of the installation. The windows look flawless. Great job! In summary, we have new windows and were very happy with the service provided by Ambia Windows&Doors. From our experience, we strongly recommend this company.

2 Sliding doors and 3 windows replaced
Tony was a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable about the products they offer, the competition and not a pushy sales person. Boris and crew were fast and efficient during the installation process. They were able to install both patio doors and 3 new windows in the same day. The transformation in look and sound is incredible and I'm sure we will see a difference in our hydro bill this winter. I have already recommended Ambia to friends and family and will use them again when we plan on doing the front windows.

Windows and doors replacement for entire house
The job was several years old, but I did not get round to writing this until now. I asked for quotes from multiple contractors. Ambia eventually got the business because (1) the sales rep, Michael, made a very good impression on us during the sales presentation (one contractor applied pressure tactics at the end of the presentation, saying that he would give so much discount if we signed the contract then and there to save him another trip coming back; this same contractor later turned out to be on the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Services' beware list), (2) Ambia was one of the recognised installers on the national Window Wise registry, (3) Ambia was able to address all my concerns after the sales presentation, and (4) unlike some other contractors, Ambia's quote was very reasonable. I was able to get a sense of which quotes would be more on the outrageous side because I had done some research beforehand and made comparison between the different quotes. The job started on the stated date and was finished within the estimated two days. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the job. There were only some minor issues during the 2-day installation. When installing one of the doors, the installer neglected to rewire the doorbell. Some areas of the drywall around the window frames and door frames were inadvertently damaged. After we reported them to Tony, probably Ambia's manager, the installer returned to fix them to our complete satisfaction. One issue I found Ambia particularly accommodating was with the enclosure to the main entrance. The job was done in October, but the enclosure's exterior lever handle became corroded after the winter. Tony got the manufacturer to replace it after we reported the defect. Then in less than 12 months the lever became corroded again; it was replaced again. Everything that Ambia did has been fine ever since. When I had another contractor to do some interior renovation work for our house later, he commented the installation was very well done. An honest contractor does not find excuses to dodge responsibility. I believe it is important that a contractor resolves customer concerns when there are issues with the work performed or the parts used. If I ever needed to replace windows and doors again, Ambia would be my first choice.
