    Windows

    We are very happy with our new windows and garden doors from Ambia. Tony was easy to work with and even let us know that we were eligible for a Canada Greener Homes grant and introduced us to an Energy Advisor. The windows look amazing and have really updated the look of our house. We already notice a big difference in sound and warmth. We were happy to find out that the windows could be black on the outside and white on the outside. Ambia also did a wonderful job with the capping and in the colour we wanted. The Ambia crew were very professional, quick, and the workmanship is impeccable. Tony dropped by twice to check on the progress of the job which we really appreciated. Thank you Ambia!

    New Window Installation

    We chose Ambia to replace six windows in our 1960s home, and we are pleased with the final result. The initial consultation with Jimmy was thorough, and he took the time to explain the options and even met us at the manufacturers showroom (STAGE) so that we could view the actual products. The windows seemed solidly constructed and beautifully designed, and we chose them over offerings from other companies. Jimmy is extremely pleasant to work with, and he is smart and knowledgeable about the various options, putting together a detailed estimate that balanced quality and practicality, with pricing that was clear and reasonable. These are challenging times, with unpredictable supply chain and labour shortages, high consumer demand, government rebate programs, etc. Ambia was up front in communicating and managing any issues that came up, and we felt that both Jimmy and Tony made good on their promise to deliver a final result that met or surpassed expectations, not only before and during the installation process, but also post-sale to remedy any outstanding minor deficiencies. They take the customers interests and concerns seriously, and understand the importance in cultivating good customer relations and rapport at every stage in the process, as well as providing a professional installation of a durable and dependable product, that we hope to enjoy for many years to come. Many thanks to Ambia, and to Tony and Jimmy for the beautiful new windows!

    Total replacement of old windows

    Our project consisted of the replacement of all 16 original windows, brick-to-brick. I was referred to Tony by a colleague, so I knew they were Window-Wise certified. Tony came out and discussed options. He even provided a contact for the energy auditor. When we decided to go ahead, his installer paid a follow-up visit to confirm dimensions. For the install, they showed up with a large crew, laid down rubber drop-cloths to protect our hardwood floors. They took care not to damage the drywell and cleaned up after. All sawing/cutting was done in our garage which was left clean. Very impressed with the finished product, inside and out. The windows look great! We would recommend Ambia.

    Windows and patio doors replacement

    The Ambia team provided excellent service. During the initial consultation visit and later final measurement visit Jimmy explained the process and answered all my questions. After he provided the initial quote, I wanted to make a few changes and he had no problem providing me with a revised quote. The windows took several weeks longer than expected to arrive - though Jimmy did explain upfront that a delay may happen due to supply chain issues. Jimmy and team worked around our schedule for the install and they were very quick. A total of 15 full windows, 2 basement window sashes and a sliding patio door was replaced. They completed the demolition and install in less than 2 days. I noticed the handle on one of the new windows was scratched - they replaced it within the week. The filling of the screw holes in the frame could have been done with slightly more care, but this is a minor fix that I can do before I paint the trim. Overall, we are quite satisfied with the windows and the work and would definitely recommend Ambia Windows and Doors Inc.

    A+ Product and Workmanship

    Highly recommend Ambia! We had all of our windows done. Our rep Jimmy was very thorough right from the get-go. Good communication and very friendly. We was very patient with all of our questions and made sure that we understood all the various options and that we were getting what we want. The installer, Dave, and his team were professional and very hard-working! They worked quickly and did a good job not only installing the new windows but also re-installing our California shutters as well. Everything looks great and the new windows from Stage seem very sturdy and well-made.

    Front & Back Door

    I am very happy with the product and services of Ambia Windows and Doors. We used Ambia to replace our doors on two separate occasions. The installations for both were done efficiently in one day. The product delivery for the most recent door was a few months delayed due to the pandemic. However, Tony was very diligent. He made sure that we understood that there would be a delay prior to ordering the doors. When the cost of the doors increased beyond what he had quoted, he kept the price as promised. He also made sure that we were happy with the completed products. He personally stopped by to ensure that the locks were correctly installed. Ambia Windows and Doors is an excellent choice.

    Windows and Door upgrade

    Ive used Ambia in the past for other properties that I own but now it was time to use them for my primary residence. They are fantastic. Tony is knowledgeable about the various options available to you to match the design and look you are going for. Dave, the installer is also amazing. Super clean, professional, friendly and quick. Our project was a pretty big one and it was completed within 1 week. I highly recommend Ambia and their crew for your window and door needs.

    Upgrade on windows and doors

    I had all my windows and doors replaced by Ambia following the purchase of my new townhouse. I read reviews on Ambia and other companies who I also called. Ambia was the most responsive. Jimmy was great, answering promptly, and scheduling an appointment for a visit. He was great in offering up his opinions on what type of windows would work in my living space. He was honest with setting my expectations for delivery and installation-much longer because of supply chain issues. He was very helpful in directing me on rebate opportunities for the windows, since they were high efficiency. The installation crew was excellent. Great workmanship. Very polite and respectful of my premises and of the common spaces shared by other units. Very transparent with the details of the installation. It was a difficult installation given my townhouse build and location, but they were done in about 3 days. Thanks to Alex and the boys. I had an issue with the lock on my patio door, but Jimmy forwarded the issue on to the manufacturer who contacted me in the timeframe that he anticipated. They are coming to fix the problem soon. Great experience, would recommend without hesitation.

    Windows - Replacement

    What an outstanding job by Ambia Windows, both the owner/salesperson and workers were AMAZING!! Both the owner/salesperson & workers were very courteous, friendly, accommodating and professional! The windows were installed over a 3 day period--as promised and installation was flawless and with absolutely no damage to the walls and/or floors. Workers removed the old windows and replaced with new windows and were always cleaning up after themselves as they installed the windows. The new windows are STUNNING, quality is better than expected--we have received many compliments from the neighbours and passerbys. I am truly happy with Ambia Windows--the price was GREAT and service was EXCEPTIONAL--I HIGHLY recommend them! THANK YOU TONY AND YOUR CREW for the OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!

    New windows

    Tony and Ambia were great to work with. Fair and competitive price, and the work was done well and completed sooner than we thought. We already plan on calling Ambia for the next job!
