    In home consultation

    This company just wants your money and once they have it they are unresponsive. I am sure they do great installs but unfortunately we never got that far with them. We hired Modus (via IKEA) for an in home consultation with the idea to then hire for install. Our Kitchen planner (Tom) arrived late but was gone before three hours was up and not the four hours we paid for; yet still left my wife and I unsatisfied and uncomfortable with our IKEA kitchen order. While Tom was at our house, our interaction with him was unpleasant. He did not listen to what our preferences were for the kitchen, and at times came off rude and demanding with his opinions while offering very little as far as explanations. Following our in home consult, I reviewed the IKEA plan and followed up with Tom for a number of questions and changes of which I received no response. I followed up with a complaint via the Modus website and again received no response. Luckily I found the personal time to modify the plan myself and answer my questions elsewhere, however, my wife and I feel robbed of the money we spent for the kitchen planning. Given our experience with Modus, I would not recommend them to anyone but rather recommend requesting another contractor via IKEA and or doing your own research for a contractor.

We are ready to deduct the full amount you have paid for the layout planning off of the installation service should you decide to give Calgary Modus another chance to rectify the situation. If you have decided to hire another contractor for the work, we will gladly issue the payment for the time you paid for and didn't use out of the 4 hr service (in your previous communication you have indicated having 1 hr unused). Again, your feedback is more than valuable and we have already followed up with appropriate internal actions.

    Kitchen Renovation

    I would have never dreamed that a kitchen renovation could be so easy! The Modus team was amazing! From the design (thank you Anna) to the demo (thank you Shane) to the cabinet install (thank Steve, Gord & sweet other guy who's name I forget), every person who was part of the process was professional and did an extraordinary job (thank you office Angie.) Had I known a kitchen renovation could be this easy, I would have done it years ago! I am a happy girl.

    Installation of my kitchen

    I had my kitchen installed by modus company and honestly it is the best thing we had done. Steve and his team are super professionals, they are also courteous and respectfull. Plus they are really helpful to have our kitchen finish as fast as possible. I had a small problem with my countertop (and cabinet) and backsplash (with the hood) and I called Steve who came right away to fix it instead of enjoying his day off. We can't have more efficient!

    Complete kitchen installation

    We recently moved into an older rancher and gutted the very outdated kitchen. I have previously has an IKEA kitchen but have never used a kitchen designer before. Rose our designer knew exactly how to make a big kitchen fit into an open smaller space. We are thrilled with the design Rose came up with. Rose was able to work around our very large professional grade range and used a different take on a lazy susan to make the most of the space we have. Have you ever seen a lazy susan that pulls out instead of turns? It is awesome. The installation team led by Steve was professional and paid attention to detail. Thank you so much to Rose and the Modus team for making our dream kitchen a reality!

    Great job on the kitchen installation

    The work done by Modus in planning and installing our new IKEA kitchen was top-notch ! We were especially impressed with the installation team, lead by "John", who made our off-the-shelf IKEA kitchen look like a custom kitchen: They employed lots of little tweaks and tricks to make everything fit perfectly. I would upload photos, but we still need to paint and do the flooring. Maybe after we've finished everything, we'll share the photos.

    Kitchen and WetBar installation

    They came early, worked fast and efficiently. The team were impressively organized and very tidy. After a very long renovation it was nice that the kitchen went in with such ease.

    Kitchen Renovation

    The crew arrived early, rather than late, were efficient, quick and cleaned up very well around the work space. They barely took any breaks, definitely would recommend! Great job guys!

    kitchen renovation

    Modus helped us to organize, coordinate, demolish, install our kitchen renovation project with IKEA produces. Also helped us to subcontract plumber who was extremely helpful and competent. All in all, their service was professional, courteous, efficient, and helped us to realize our dream kitchen. We highly recommend this company without any hesitations.

    Kitchen Renovation

    We just completed a kitchen renovation through Ikea who recommended Modus to help complete our project. Kim from Modus was extremely efficient and helpful throughout the process. All the contractors - from Ali, Brian and Smiley (and his crew) to their Modus install team were an absolute pleasure to work with. It was stress free and they came up with creative solutions to solve a few layout problems that we had. I would definitely recommend this company!     Kitchen Renovation

    Modus stepped into a job started by another contractor and corrected every flaw in the installation. The team was very professional, highly skilled and made my kitchen look beautiful. In my next renovation project, I will continue to use Modus because of the quality of their work and the excellent experience I had. I highly recommend them as they are specialized in IKEA kitchens.
