    Kitchen Renovation

    My kitchen renovation went very well! The staff at Modus make this project quick and easy. They are extremely professional, friendly and helpful. The designer ensured that I got a kitchen that would not just look great, but be functional as well. Kim, the Office Coordinator ensure everything went smoothly and is a valuable asset to the company! The installation crew were an amazing team who worked together putting my amazing kitchen together in one day. Thank you Modus for a job well done. I'd highly recommend you to anyone!

    Kitchen Renovation

    I loved working with Modus. I really had no idea what I was doing when it came to renovating my kitchen but they were amazing at helping me figure out all the steps and what order I needed to do them in. The demolition and installion went well. Everyone was on time, polite, and careful with the walls and flooring. I used their recommendations for the countertop and received excellent service. I used their recommended plumber and was not happy with the results. I was also disappointed with Modus’s response to Plumbing situation.

    Kitchen Renovation in Calgary

    (Please note that above cost is for entire renovation...not just the Modus part.) We used Modus for a complete kitchen renovation. We used a combination of our own electrian, demolision, countertop installers and painters, their cabinetry installation people, their plumber partner, their demolition and repair partner and their tiling partner. The quality of work and professionalism from their people and their partners was exceptional. Our cabinets look custom...and they're IKEA. (Our space is small and presented design and install challenges). They really know what theyr'e doing. The shining star in this two month long endeavor has to be Kim at Modus. She helped me general contract/project manager the entire thing....coordinating her people and helping me so that I could coordinate mine. I couldn't have done it without her. She was so organized and responsive.

That's the point: don't spend a fortune and get top notch look and product.....and still have money left over for enjoying life :) IKEA cabinets are durable, versatile, use top of the line hardware ad can easily be mistaken for custom cabinetry. In fact, often custom makers use IKEA hardware. We are so happy that you are satisfied with the result and also that you enjoyed working with our team and with Kim. Thank you for working with us.

    Great Work

    Kim was absolutely fantastic. I completely demolished my kitchen, living room and dining room in the biggest renovation project I have ever done. Kim was extremely knowledgeable when it came to what should be done first when it came to the kitchen, and she was extremely good at keeping me informed of new developments at all times. She definitely made my life a lot easier, and she should be commended for her awesome work. Because of Kim, I would definitely recommend using MODUS again in the future and have already recommended you to various friends and family.

    Ikea Kitchen Installation

    We recently completed the installation of an Ikea kitchen with the Calgary Modus team and we are exceptionally happy with their service and the final installation from start to finish. They assisted with the initial layout through to installation and the end result is perfect. Their staff are top-notch from office team to the installation team, they were very coordinated and provided exceptional advice, patience and customer service. For us, the value was great and we simply didn't have the time to put this kitchen together but the team from Modus made it easy. We highly recommend them.

    Kitchen, Bath, Laundry and Living Room

    We first used Modus way back in 2005 for an Ikea kitchen install. In 2015 we used Modus for a kitchen and bath reno and last year we did not hesitate to call Modus for our biggest reno yet...kitchen, 2 baths, laundry and living room. As before, they were excellent throughout all phases...initial consult, design, install and finishing on schedule. We would not hesitate to recommend Modus for a professional project completion.

    Kitchen and bath reno, hardwood floor refinishing

    From the first phone call to Lucero and Simo, Modus always used highly skilled employees. I-Shan the planner /designer was very detailed and a good listener, as was Shane (efficient and helpful)and his demo crew. Senisha and Marco and the assembly team were fantastic! Ivana very capably oversaw the project and was always available for questions and assistance. I would recommend Modus for any project especially IKEA kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms.

    Kitchen reno

    We used Modus for the design and installation of our IKEA kitchen. Kim from Modus was absolutely instrumental for the successful completion of our project. Thank you so much! We had some little hiccups along the way, however, in the end; the Modus team pulled together and was able to finish my kitchen installation on schedule. Thank you guys for getting the job done right. I would definitely recommend this company!

    kitchen design

    The designer came to the house to complete the design for the Ikea Kitchen. My kitchen has some angles and I asked her if the cabinets would be flush and filled in where the gaps in the angles were. I was told absolutely. I also have a large fridge with a 36 "cabinet and the designer change this cabinet to a 30 " I had no idea what I was getting, I took the design to Ikea the associate checked the plans and I purchased all the cabinets. As the cabinets were being installed the design was horrendous. I had a 6 _gap between the cabinets over the fridge, in the corner the designer put a 36" wall cabinet with a 18" wall cabinet beside it the doors block both cabinets from opening. The designer should have used a corner cabinet. The base cabinets had 4 " gaps between the cabinets and looked horrible. Most of the cabinets I have had to return and start the process over. I paid for delivery of the cabinets but now I am making the trip back and forth to Ikea to return and buy new cabinets another waste of money. I would not recommend this company to any one.

Naturally, if a design is labeled "horrendous", we would like to know what was the flow of the meeting, who was the employee in question and to follow up appropriately with their supervisor and HR.
