    Leaking Shut Off Valve

Called and booked an appointment for Friday AM. Received a call back before the scheduled time that they were backed up with a big problemn at another customer which was OK with me because I was working from home that day. Michael arrived just about the time they said he would and gave me several options on how to repair the problem. He fixed quickly and explained and pointed out a couple of other things that I could do myself at no or low cost. Very personable and efficient. I would recommend Water Works to anyone. Thanks, Michael!

    Basement valve replacement.

My basement valve was leaking bad that leads to the backyard hose. Needed to be repaired quickly, we could not water our gardens in the backyard. George did a great job explaining what the best solution was going to be and fixed it perfectly.

    Basement drain (flooding)

George promptly recommended options and let us take time to choose, which was to do a camera scope of the drain... The clog was found, then cleared. And before leaving he asked if there was anything else we needed. We then had George replace the kitchen tap with a new one we picked up At costco. The price for both jobs was very reasonable, and we are planning for George to return and fix our poorly working showers. Excellent service!!!!!! Thanks George!

    Failed sum pump

Our sum pump failed after a heavy rain storm, and the basement started to flood. I called Water Works in a panic and they sent someone out right away. Michael calmly assessed the problem and corrected it. He also advised me what some of my next steps should be. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I would definately recommended their services to anyone in need. He also called the next day to make sure the pump was still working. Thanks, WaterWorks.

Plumbing, Issues both outside and inside home

Michael arrived on time. Quickly resolved issues outside. Knew exactly what to do and how to remedy problems. Also fixed leak inside basement. Then, I showed him a leak I had put up with for years, and he said he could fix it. Had parts in truck. He fixed it perfect. I couldn't be happier or more satisfied. And most important, I trust that he does the job perfect, the first time, so I don't have to worry. Very happy to have found Water Works for all my plumbing needs.

    Replacing the kitchen faucet

Our kitchen faucet broke first thing in the morning and of course things like this happened when my husband was away for business trip. Having two young kids, I had to have the faucet fixed a.s.a.p. The plumber was supposed to show up on Tuesday but he was running so late that I had to tell him to come back the next day. Well, the next day, I was expecting him around noon but again he was attending some other emergencies and didn't show up at our house till almost 5pm. I had to call the office a couple of times to get the latest status and both times I was told that I was next, but my turn took forever. The plumber was very nice and did a good job I suppose, but I found the fee very expensive for what it was. I think my husband could have installed the new faucet himself if he were around. After a long waiting period, it ended up costing us a lot of money.

    Answer from pro:

Dear Mr and Mrs Taylor, Firstly we made several calls to you to let you know that we were delayed due to the heavy rains and flooded basements. You decided not to have us come out to your home in the evening hours around 8pm.We understand that. You also complimented our plumber on his service and told him you would give a "nice" review. After you gave this review and you mentioned you wanted a substantial REFUND. Isn't that BLACKMAIL & EXTORTION ?I'm sorry,we dont play that game. We are in the customer service business which means making people happy, solving their plumbing problems and holding good ethics..Best of Luck.

    water leak

Bathtub hot water pipe leaking into my kitchen - called Water Works and it was fixed in one hour the net day. George the plumber was great as was customer service desk - dispatch called me twice to confirm George was on his way. Great service but in retrospect, was pretty expensive for only 1 hour's work. I give them a 10 for service and 5 for price.

    Bath tap replacement

Michael of this company, asked me to write a second review for this two-part job. George had needed to remove a few tiles to repair leak in readiness for new tap, to be installed by a tiler working separately from Water Works Plumbing. George thought Michael could probably arrange for the tiler to do this the next day (Tuesday) when Michael arrived to check job thus far and arrange billing; George felt the additional fee would probably be less than $500. Michael explained that it would actually be $1362., in addition to the $1454. already charged for George's brief, professional preparation for installation of new tap. Michael also explained that the tiler could not, in fact, perform this installation until Saturday, four days later. Although my apt. has only one bath, I was understanding and agreed to the tiler's appointment time of 11 A.M. Saturday even though it meant changing an afternoon appt. to a morning one, before the tiler's arrival for the "roughly half-day" job. On Friday night the tiler called and said that 9 A.M. was absolutely the only time he could do the job. So I was (luckily!) able to change the appt. I had re-scheduled for that time, back to 1 P.M. and called him to confirm the time, again receiving his assurance he would have the job completed before 1 P.M. He arrived on time, needed correct "toony" change for parking and completed the job by 11:40 A.M. He installed the "wand"-type faucet upside-down but explained that this didn't matter at all. I neither expected nor was offered return of the parking fee; indeed he told me how lucky I was that he'd had to change the appt. time, clearly indifferent to my inconvenience I didn't bother to mention again as I briefly had earlier on the phone. He also told me I'd need to re-hire him for further work though he wasn't free for some time, as I offered cheery goodbyes and thanks and saw him to the door. Michael arrived the following Monday, 40 minutes later than scheduled but as always, very professional - as all other Water Works employees, had also been. He applied a sealer around the new faucet (I'd perhaps luckily not yet used, as gap was very noticeable) and re-installed it right side-up without my having mentioned this. While I don't mind writing this second "review", I do hope the job is now fully resolved. Later: It is now June 17th, I have heard from Water Works Plumbing and am confident that any perceived lack of professionalism according to their own high standards, has been dealt with by them.
